- Anke (7/5): - Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und gut erreichbar. Direkt unter dem Hotel ist ein Einkaufszentrum mit einigen Restaurants, in denen wir wirklich gut und preiswert gegessen haben. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber insgesamt gut ausgestattet. Im Badezimmer kann sich wirklich nur eine Person aufhalten, aber es war sauber. Der Zimmerservice war etwas oberflächlich. Die Betten wurden nicht gemacht und auch die benutzten Gläser und Tassen wurden nicht ausgewechselt. Außerdem war unverständlich, wozu der Wasserkocher und Tassen da waren aber weder Tee noch Kaffee bereit standen.

- 雄一 (9/5): 屋上のお風呂が最高 - 屋上の露天風呂が素晴らしい。紀の川を望む解放感あふれるお風呂は、それだけでまた来たくなるほどです。また、お部屋もスタイリッシュにまとめられ、ゆっくりできます。ベッドのヘッドボードにコンセントがあり、スマホやPCなどベッドの上で充電しながら使えました。朝食は様々な料理、和食、パン、カレーなどあり、いろいろ食べれました！

- Tin Jeng (9/5): Great stay in a convenient location - A good stay in a central location of Wakayama. The breakfast was surprisingly very well stocked and tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating as well. They answered all our questions clearly and quickly. I wish they would've granted us a late checkout given our circumstances. They were very firm on charging us even with our extenuating circumstances. Overall, a small dampener but they were just working by the book.

Aber warum wird bei den Damen bitte so eingespart? - Harald (9/5): sehr interessante Destination mit interessanter Umgebung ( Vorhaben jedenfalls vorab gut planen ! ) - Lage direkt am Kintetsu-Bahnhof, wichtig bei der Anreise über Kansai Airport da Züge auch direkt zum JR-Bahnhof fahren; von dort etwa 15 Min. mit dem Taxi entfernt. Hotel mit hervorragendem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundlichem Personal; Frühstück vielfältig, mit Englisch kommt man auf der Halbinsel generell nicht weit ! Große, saubere Zimmer, ruhig; sehr guter Onsen als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und für die Weiterfahrt ideal gelegen. Kritik wäre unangebracht ! Jeder bemüht sich nach Kräften und ist stets hilfsbereit auch wenn eine gewisse Sprachbarriere manchmal besteht; hier hilft eine Übersetzungs-App. !

- Takuya (4/5): 客層最悪、ホテルが可哀想 - スタッフは親切で、部屋は綺麗。 お風呂の眺めもいい。 マナーの守れない外国人客が多すぎる。客層を選んで欲しい。 お風呂の中でスマートフォンを使って電話。露天風呂でタバコを吸って湯船を灰皿がわりにしているインドか東南アジア系の外国人。。 日本人はみんな出て行きました。 風呂前の共用部では10人くらいの中国人団体が2時間くらいずっと大騒ぎしていた。 フロントにどうにかしてくれとお願いしたけど、夜は女性スタッフしかいないからすみませんと言われました。。 本当にマナーを守れない人は来ないでほしい。 そしてお風呂を楽しみにきたのに5分ほどしか入れなくて残念でした。

Piscine sur le toit et bains chauds. Le coût du stationnement de l’hôtel est exorbitant : 8900 yens pour moins de 24 heures. Le personnel aurait dû nous mentionner le coût et nous diriger vers des stationnements publics situés en face pour un coût de 900 yens pour 24 heures. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était froid.

Personnel accueillant, sympathique et efficace. Le wifi est performant et sécurisé. La propreté des chambres est parfaite. Le petit déjeuner buffet était bon. Nous avons adoré le Spa / Onsen intérieur et extérieur au dernier étage de l'hôtel ; c'est un réel plus par rapport à d'autres marques, incitant à y séjourner. Rien de majeur. Notre chambre en angle avait un design agréable mais comme souvent chez Candeo, le rapport surface / prix est perfectible (il est néanmoins vrai que nous étions en haute saison mi avril...). - Rachel (8/5): Convenient and comfortable - The hotel is located above the railway station which is very convenient when arriving by train. It is close to several convenience stores and restaurants and walking distance to Wakayama Castle. The room was comfortable with big windows showing views of the river. The indoor and outdoor pools in the onsen are on the small side but luckily there were not too many other people in there at the time we visited. Check-in and check out were very efficient and they gave us early access to the room on arrival, without asking, which was much appreciated! We would stay here again.

- Narakaew (9/5): Great hotel in Wakayama city. - - Hotel located in the central of Wakayama. - Breakfast is good but most menu are same for 2 staying days. - Staffs are very helpful. - Many shops and restaurant around hotel that is convenient. - Parking fee is 800 yen after get stamp from hotel. - Excellent view from the room and check-in area. - A bit difficult and complicate to find the parking lot at the first time, difficult to carry 6-7 big suitcases from parking lot to hotel too. - Hotel provide spa area, not onsen. - Check-in is on the 11 floor, it's not convenient for the 1st time. - Shower cap is not available. - Room is a bit small but acceptable for city hotel.

Hotellin henkilökunta ystävällistä. Helppoa siirtyä lentokentältä hotelliin, koska sijainti Nankai-linjan asemalla, jossa myös paljon ravintoloita. Bussiasema heti hotellin vieressä, joten koko Wakayama helposti tavoitettavissa. Hotellin ylimmässä kerroksessa hieno onsen-osasto. Hotellin huoneessa olisi voinut olla enemmän laskutilaa laukuille/tavaroille. Junien kuullutukset kuuluivat hiukan aamuisin huoneeseen.
- e740f68e4bb071653fb7fe2c40844343 (4/5): Lovely hotel but photos / description are misleading - We stayed at Candeo Hotel for three nights and found it very easy to access from the train coming from Osaka. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern design and great views. However, we were disappointed as the photos on Booking.com felt misleading. They suggest a wooden sauna and multiple baths, but the facilities differ.. The wooden sauna is only in the men’s section, while the women’s has more of a steam/mist room which wasn’t stated. My partner, who has arm tattoos, was also only allowed to use the baths and sauna between 12am–4am. We understand this is part of Japanese culture, but those hours felt very impractical, especially as we chose the hotel to unwind with the sauna and baths on the last few days of our trip.

The rooms are big for Japan, and have excellent views of the river. Not a huge selection for the buffet breakfast, but the view makes up for it. The public bath also has an outdoor bath, I love it! - Sandra Nina (9/5): - Das Frühstück war gut. Die Zimmer sehr schön und komfortabel. Das Personal sehr höflich. Die Aussicht war auch sehr schön. Die Frauen haben leider keine so schöne Aussicht aus den Onsen wie die Männer. Zudem gibt es nur ein Dampfbad und keine richtige Sauna.

- TOSHIKO (8/5): お風呂が大不満 - 予約の手続きでこちらがミスしたんですが、丁寧に迅速に対応して下さり、しかも分かりやすかったので有難かったです。 当日のお部屋もきれいでした。食べ物、日用品の買い物が出来る施設もあり、急な出張などで身一つで訪れても大丈夫です。もちろん観光にも良いと思います。 女性用の露天風呂の上部にある換気口が近くの喫煙ルームと繋がっていますよね。 お湯に浸かっていたら、上の方から不意に煙草の匂いがしてものすごく嫌な気持ちになりました （お部屋だってわざわざ禁煙の部屋を選んでいるのに…）。 また、露天風呂、室内風呂、共に湯船の目地に黒カビがたくさんついていてところどころ真っ黒になっています。 すごくいいお風呂なので残念でした。
