- Yljoo (8/5): Great place to stay in Ubud - Location location location!!! It was brilliant! Right next to the Monkey forrest and all other good restaurants, cafes, pharmacy and supermarket. Very convenient. So it means, it's near to the busy area, yet you wound't hear any noise from your accommodation. Brilliant! Staff are exceptionally polite and kind. I needed some help for nothing to do with accommodation. I asked one of the receptionists and they helped me out kindly. I really appreciate that. Had breakfast in the room, we requested to be served by certain time, and it was ready on time! Hot food was hot! Quality of food was ok, not something out of the moon, but I enjoyed scrambled eggs option. Their welcome drink (?Iced lime tea) was so refreshing!!! I ordered again and again haha Overall the accommodation is old yet I could see it's well maintained. There are some stairs in the room. Reflective and glow in the dark tape was applied to stairs so I could use the stairs safely in the dark. Bedding was great, had the most comfortable sleep ever. It can be quite humid in the room, yet they have dehumidifier so it was great throughout the stay. Accommodation is value for the money. I'd stay here again for next Ubud visit. I'd get my own shampoo, conditioner and body wash and stuff. The quality was not the best I'd use.

- Windyhaze (9/5): - This place was just divine, Our room was amazing and a bonus was ceiling fans. Great sized bathroom which we loved. Seperate spa bath was nice but we didn't feel the need to use it. Beds very comfortable, it even had a small lounge to sit on to watch TV which was an added bonus. The pool area was well shaded with umbrellas and lots of lounges to lay on. The pool temp was perfect the the hot days. The cafe next door offered lovely breakfasts and great coffee. Tegal Sari is surrounded by cafes and restaurants as well as the monkey forest down the road. Our room faced the monkey forest and we often sat outside watching them up in the trees. We would hands down come back to stay here again. Staff were second to none.

- Sandra (10/5): Service is Amazing! - We loved everything! The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. Our room was squeaky clean, and we had everything we needed. The restaurant service and food were great. We booked three day tours and really enjoyed them. Our driver, Sureka, was extremely knowledgeable and a safe driver. The property has beautiful gardens, and it feels like you are not in the city. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Bali. We highly recommend Tegal Sari Accommodation!

- Emily (10/5): Clean, Quiet, Friendly Staff, Good Price. - The room was perfect. (As a backpacker from the US, studying in thailand for a semester) after a few nights of roughing it in various places this was the perfect way to relax and wind down. The property is close to all of the main streets of Ubud, walking distance or a 5 minute grab bike ride away. The property feels very lush with all the greenery, and secret garden pathway feel. The terras attached to the room was so cute. The room was perfectly clean, and kept up with. When checking in, as soon as I arrived I received a free welcome drink and while I was doing that for like 5 minutes, someone went dropped my bag to my room and turned on the Air Conditioning, so that the room was nice and cool when I walked in! The staff was super friendly at the front desk. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking who has similar values to me. It was very quiet where I stayed at the back of the property. I didn't stay long cause I'm solo traveling, but would be a great place to go with a partner, or friend or to solo travel for 1++ nights! Don't scroll past this one! (sorry i didn't have a photo of the room only a video but it exceeded the expectations.

Attached restaurant, Semesta Warung was excellent for breakfast and by the pool lunches. Staff were exceptional. Easy walk to central Ubud shopping and dining. Whilst close to Monkey Forest, didn't see any on the premises. Great choice!

Nous avons dû changer , nous avions pris la villa 1 chambre qui etait magnifique mais malheureusement il y avait des travaux tout autour qui ont cassé tout le charme mais le personnel a été réactif et très professionnel et nous a proposé une autre chambre, certes sur le papier de moindre catégorie, mais très confortable et silencieuse donc c’était parfait Si je devais faire un seul reproche : au moment du check out nous devions rejoindre notre chauffeur à une autre sortie de l’hôtel et c’est nous qui avons dû solliciter le personnel pour nous y accompagner car nous ne savions pas où elle se trouvait, j’aurais aimé que ça vienne d’eux, c’est le souvenir que je gardais de Bali lors d’un premier séjour, la gentillesse des gens non pas seulement par devoir mais par humanité envers son prochain

Own terrace with a garden and trees Infront and a view of rice fields. Beautiful gardens. 2 nice swimming pools. Water available to fill glass bottles all the time. Tes, coffee + cream provided.. Room cleaned and clean towels everyday if you wanted to. Staff lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Offer trips with a driver. Diko was so nice and went out of his way to take us to the places we wanted to go and negotiated good prices for items to buy.The trainee girl at the back reception was so nice and helpful. Nothing really apart from having to ask to use the lift to go up to the roof pool because it was for luggage only so locked and had to climb lots of stairs.

Der Haupteingang war von unserem Zimmer etwas weiter, ein schöner Spaziergang durchs die schöne Anlage. Der Nebeneingang war sehr nah. Am Haupteingang gibt es direkt zwei tolle Lokale zum frühstücken, es kann auch ins Zimmer geliefert werden. Sehr tolle zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig.

- ｒ (7/5): 田んぼは近くて遠かった - スタッフの接客が感じがよかったです。 木造の建物で天井が高く、薄暗い照明が落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 ベッドやソファのファブリックもお部屋の雰囲気に合っていました。 クリーニングサービスのお値段が安くて便利でした。 数年前に宿泊した友人から「素晴らしい時間を過ごした」と聞いていたため、とても楽しみにしていました。 当時はあったと聞いていた中心部への無料送迎は、現在は廃止されていました。 バスタブには屋根の藁屑や小さな虫が入っており、掃除の手間を考えると使用する気になれませんでした。 20時過ぎから23時頃まで重低音の音楽が聞こえ続け気になりました。 ゴミ箱が部屋の外に設置されていて少し不便に感じました。 田んぼを眺めながらぼんやり過ごすことを想像していましたが、私の部屋からは田んぼは見えませんでした。 部屋によって眺望に当たり外れがあるのかもしれません。事前にしっかり確認しなかった自分の反省点でもあります。

What truly set Tegal Sari apart was the incredible staff. Always polite, attentive, and happy to help, they went out of their way to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their suggestions—whether for local experiences, food, or day trips—were spot on and helped us discover Ubud in the most authentic and relaxed way. A very special mention goes to Marley the fish, who completely won our toddler’s heart. Watching our little one light up with joy every day was priceless and made this stay even more memorable for our family. - Rik (10/5): Unique nature experience in the center of Ubud - Perfect location, we loved the wooden cabin as it gave us a very special experience, we enjoyed hearing the sounds from the nearby rice fields and a bit of mangrove/forest at the backside. If you like a bit of nature experience then this your place to stay in the middle of Ubud. Would come back right away. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Liked everything, a 'one of a kind' experience.

The staff was extremely friendly, and although the hotel is right in the heart of Ubud, you can’t hear the street noise — the whole property feels very peaceful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed using the main pool, which was great. The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices for the area. There are plenty of dining options nearby, yoga classes both at the hotel and close to it, and it’s within walking distance of the Monkey Forest.

- Taylor (10/5): Deluxe Family Villa was amazing! - We booked the Deluxe Family Villa with a private pool, and it was amazing! The villa was beautiful and spacious, with two levels. The upstairs had the bedrooms and a small toilet, which was spotless and surprisingly roomy. Downstairs had a comfortable lounge area and a bathroom with direct access to the pool. We visited Ubud during very hot days, but the inside of the villa stayed wonderfully cool. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with any inquiries we had. All four of us said we would love to stay there again. We honestly didn’t have anything to complain about. The only slightly scary moment was on the day we checked out — we spotted a snake on the roof of the building next door! It didn’t come close to us, but it did give us a little fright.

- MAIKO (9/5): - ウブドで大好きなホテルです。 出来れば2階のライステラスビューのお部屋をおすすめします。 水圧が弱かったり、使用している際にシャワーヘッドが外れたりと水回りはちょっと残念な部分もありますが、そんな事どうでもよくなるほどの良さがあります。コテージタイプの部屋に泊まれば、隣と距離があり壁もありますのでプライベート感は高いです。ベランダでコーヒーと共に鳥の声を聴きながら、田んぼの奥から朝日が登ってくるのを見れたのは最高でした。 夜には日本では聞けない鳥やヤモリの声も聞こえてきます。また戻りたいな、と思える場所です。
- Kayla (10/5): Just book it! It’s a perfect place to stay in Ubud! - I cannot rave about this hotel enough! The location was perfect - right next to the monkey forest, and walking distance to the main streets for shopping and restaurants. The room and grounds were so beautiful! Our room overlooked rice fields in the back of the property. The beds and pillows were comfy, plenty of space in the room, and the WiFi worked just fine on my phone. The highlight though was the staff! They absolutely made our stay! Everyone was so lovey and helpful. Anything we needed they took care of right away. And they also offered a very affordable on-site laundry service. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Tegal Sari!

- Jazreel (8/5): Lovely clean room and friendly staff - 24h front desk helped as we checked in past midnight. The room was clean with no mosquitoes, comfortable bed overlooking the patio outside. It was also conveniently near monkey forest, although we didn’t go there during our stay. The room was also private, perfect for couples. Bedroom slippers were made of thin foam and affected the overall experience, could have been more comfortable.

- Bangul (6/5): 내가 룸 타입 선택을 잘못한걸까.. - 코코마켓 근처라 위치는 좋음 다만 왕궁까지는 거리가 꽤 있음 직원들이 친절함 화장실이 컸음 다른 고급리조트에서도 물병 마개 실리콘에 물때가 잔뜩 껴있었는데 우붓숙소중 유일하게 깨끗했음 객실 룸 타입이 엄청 많아서 고른다고 골라서 예약했는데도 침구가 너무 꿉꿉했음 방에 들어가자마자 깨끗하긴했지만 곰팡이 냄새가 너무 심함 프론트에 얘기하니 공기청정기는 가져다줌 방문이랑 화장실문이 나무로 되어있는데 쪼끔 무서움 오래되서 그런지 약감 룸 자체가 음침한 느낌 방 옆으로 사람들 지나다니는 길목이였고 바로 앞이 후문 프론트라서 사람들 돌아다니는 소리, 캐리어 끄는 소리, 전부 다 들림 화장실에 욕조가 있는데 볼때마다 작은벌레들이 죽어서 쌓이는걸 볼수있음 욕조는 안쓰면 다행이지만 문제는 침대위에도 벌레들이 죽어서 자꾸만 떨어져있는게 보임 ㅜㅜ 흰 이불 위로 벌레들이 죽어있어서 치워줘야했음 가성비 숙소로 기대하고갔는데 생각보다 많이 실망함 조식도 2군데 연계되어있는데 솔직히 그닥 맛있지는 않음..

Sure, the price is very reasonable, but it is really the service and the people working there that set the place apart. We stayed in room 20, first floor and a great view over the organic garden and surrounding jungle. The hotel itself stretches out in a long row of buildings. There are two pools on the premises, one of them on the roof of the main building. Or you can use the large bathtub in the room. There are two receptions, and any number of extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was of the "wooden" type. Fairly big and very well appointed, and with an absolutely lovely balcony. Comfortable bed, with mosquito net. Very quiet at night - but with a slight risk of encountering a monkey on your front step if you are a very early riser. We usually had our breakfast brought to us in the room, pure bliss. A 10 minutes' walk to Lumeria Yoga via the back entrance, for another kind of bliss. The front entrance faces the Monkey Forest Road, so there is an easy walk to the centre if shopping is your thing. Nothing, really. There might be a few signs of wear and tear, but nothing too bad. The restaurant they work with is not great, but even there you get a lot for your money.

- yukie (9/5): 心の平安を取り戻した5泊のテガルサり滞在 - 建物が古いため建具に不具合があったりしましたが、コツをつかむと大丈夫でした。湯舟とシャワーが離れているのでちょっと使いづらかったです。お湯の出はあまりよくありませんし、ぬるいです。しかしそのすべてのマイナス要素をもってしてもこのホテルは素晴らしいと思います。スタッフさんは本当に親切です。ブンゴセカン通りとモンキーフォレスト通りに出られるので、目的に合わせて使い分けることができます。ランドリーも朝出すと夕方には戻ってきています。信じられないくらい安いです。2回使ったら、着なかった服を持ち帰るようでした。以前はTシャツも自分で洗濯していましたが、ランドリーを使って、もっと身軽に旅行するのが一番だと思いました。鳩の声で目覚め、蛙の声で眠りにつく。ホテルの利便性より自然を大事にしたい方なら、きっとその良さがわかると思います。大雨の中、メインレセプションとバックレセプションを私のスーツケースを運んで行ったり来たりして下さったスタッフさん、お礼もできませんでした。本当にありがとうございました。来年も必ずお伺いしたいと思っています。 湯舟とシャワーがれているのは使いずらいです。お湯の温度がぬるく出が悪いです。バリ島は暑いのでお湯はぬるくても大丈夫ですが、日本人としてはもう少し熱い湯に漬かりたいかな？

- marco (9/5): Relax in pieno centro - Location perfetta in centro Ubud, a 5 minuti dalla famosa Monkey Forest! La struttura presenta diverse tipologie di alloggio, e ha due entrate comodissime! La struttura è vicino ad una risaia interna alla strada E questo permette di avere silenzio e tranquillità pur essendo molto centrale! La mia scelta è stata sulla Casetta in legno ( wooden cottage) e sono super soddisfatto della scelta, super privacy anche sul terrazzo! Tanto spazio nella camera, letto comodo Bagno con vasca e doccia spazioso e pulito! Vista perfetta sul verde! La struttura dispone di due piscine, una rooftop vicino all ingresso principale e una nel verde, piccoline entrambe ma in un ‘atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. Non ho provato la colazione in quanto per scelta ho optato per non averla avendo altri piani nei giorni di soggiorno. Soggiorno super piacevole, forse la cosa meno piacevole è stata la comunicazione durante il check in in cui cercano di venderti qualsiasi cosa tra tour e servizi a pagamento ma è abbastanza normale essendo un posto turistico

- natacha (10/5): Au calme dans le tumulte de Ubud - Hotel avec deux entrées bien pratiques (une coté ARMA pour voir des spectacles et une côté monkey forest). Donne au calme sur le jardin puis rizière. L'hôtel a pu gérer la location d'un bon scooter. On a pu profiter du service de taxi (pour Mundunk) de l'hôtel dans une très belle voiture électrique ! Très bon petit déjeuner également.
