Guest Reviews
- Richard (2/5): - After receiving the usual e-mails in the countdown to our trip we finally got one with the hosts contact details the day before we departed. They didn't answer my call and did not respond to my e-mail.
We called before departure and again the call was not answered but we left a message with our contact details and then set out on the 3 hour journey.
We stopped an hour away from the accommodation and tried to call again; this time the call went straight to answerphone. We then got in touch with Travelnest, the company through whom the advert was placed on Hotels.com website, who were next to useless and failed to contact the host themselves. It was only through the intervention of Hotels.com that alternative accommodation was found.
We had booked and paid for this accommodation weeks in advance and an entire program booked around it, including theatre tickets and restaurants. I'm assuming that the host couldn't give a monkeys about their clients, treating such trifling inconveniences such as e-mails and phone calls with disdain, as their cowardly refusal to treat directly with us shows.
