- Bates (10/5): -
- Derek (10/5): -
- Aaron (3/5): Should have spent $20 more for a good night sleep. - Nice location in the mountains No screens, cabin full of mosquitoes along with train noise only slept one hour. No care on how the cabin was slapped together. Expected a toilet for a cabin that rents for $90 a night. The outhouse doesn't have a seat and the door doesn't shut. Neither does the outdoor flush toilet with the sink that didn't work.
- Jeshua (8/5): -
- Anmol (10/5): -
- Chris (8/5): A true backwoods feeling - Very secluded Train goes by quite often but didn’t bother our stay
- Arie (10/5): -
- Reno (10/5): LA VÉRITABLE CABANE AU CANADA😍 - C'est LA cabane au Canada😍😍
- Felipe (7/5): Plan carefully. Bring water. - Strategic point near the river, hike and attractions; but far from grocery, restaurant and gas. Hard time getting to sleep. No curtains on the window. The cabin door don't close (in an area with grizzly bears). A freight train pass horning as many as 2 times per hour during the night, super close to the cabin (less than 1km). Tap water is not safe to drink or cook.
- Philippe (9/5): Nice authentic and comfortable cabin in the wood. Great place to stay before starting our visit of Jasper and Banff. - Nice remote place near Blue River. The cabin is comfortable and nicely equipped. The train could be disturbing for some, although not a big issue for us.
- Melody (10/5): Beautiful scenic and quiet mountain getaway. - We loved the rustic cabin! It was clean and stocked with everything we could need. We hope to come back sometime with our family. A wonderful getaway in the mountains.
- Joanne (9/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Excellent Wilderness experience - The host was excellent, a lovely lady who was a great help to us. Location gave a great wilderness experience. The cabin had all we needed, the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

- Barb (9/5): Would stay again ! - Quiet, excellent value It would be great if the window opened it was quite warm.
- Marion (3/5): -
- linda (8/5): - Una casetta di legno nel verde, molta pace e suggestiva
- Stephen (7/5): Great remote setting, friendly host, eclectic rustic and comfortable cabin - The remote location was a plus for me. However we didn’t bring enough supplies for the overnight stay and had to drive 25kms back to Blue Lake for food.
The rustic cabin was small inside but cosy. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The horn noise from passing trains was a bit sad as it detracted from the remote setting, but not too much of a problem. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was a eclectic mix of old, bespoke and new fittings which was interesting. It didn’t trouble me that the drinking water was dispensed from a 20litre bottle and tasted fine but the tap water definitely had a bad smell to it. We hadn’t gotten I’ll from the water 24 hours after showering and brushing our teeth with it. We were informed to NOT drink the tap water but not informed why.

- Courtney (9/5): -
- Eisenhart (5/5): - The property was beautiful and we loved the dogs. We had the cabin closest to the train tracks and the biggest issue for us was the noise and the vibrations. The last train passed around 12am and the first one around 6am so we were able to sleep during this time frame.
- Patrick (9/5): Cozy house in the woods - Very nice location in the woods all good. water to be carried
- Henrik (10/5): The right place at the right time - Rustic, unique, quiet, peaceful, clean
- Annabelle (7/5): Good - Everything is perfect! Except the train who do a klaxon every time is coming, but beautiful place, and nice welcoming :) The crazy train
- Daina (10/5): I loved hearing the trains, a beautiful property and Zeke the dog was very friendly and welcoming! - I was in the "North of 60" cabin and found it was well-equipped and stocked with things for cooking and making coffee the next morning. I don't have any critiscms.
- Greg (10/5): Great stay in a comfortable cabin with beautiful surroundings. - The cabin was in great shape, clean and comfortable and the kitchen worked well for me to cook dinner. The nearby trains would blast their horns at the crossing and it was quite loud.
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Proximity to town, everything you need to cook a meal, clean shower/ bathroom Mosquitoes
- Rutter (9/5): Off the grid rustic cabin for a perfect place to wind down and relax. - The cabin was super cute and rustic. Definitely loved the vibe. Cozy and clean. We weren’t comfortable with not being able to lock the door.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Beautiful place in the forest. The host was super nice and helpful. The cabin got everything you need with a perfect kitchen.
Bring bug spray, tons of mosquitos, but with bug spray it's okay. Train is passing by really close and honking loud. Didn't bother us too much but it's a noteable thing.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fran (1/5): The worst place ever would never stay again hence why we never stayed.! - Nothing and over priced The high sulphur levels in your water couldn’t even shower no privacy and no locks on doors as a secondary caution measure to keep customers safe
- Jacob (8/5): Very good -
- Moossa (8/5): Just a memorable stay. - Location, it truly is a wilderness retreat. The host Micky and her super friendly dog are the highlights of our stay. Having a central water filtration system with water softner would be nice as they are using well water. Also, can add some swings or kids play area so they small kids can spend their times. The dogs were very playful so my son had nice time playing with it, especially Zeek!
- Joaniestl (9/5): Superb - Very nice place. We had a great time. The cabin we got was simple, but very cozy and comfortable. Full kitchen with everything you need. Cute with very thoughtful details. We would definitely stay there again. Mickie and the dogs were super welcoming!
- Mitchell (10/5): Cozy, well equipped place for a little getaway. - Owners were very friendly and accommodating, cabin was very cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Wifi wasn’t the greatest, and minimal cellular service.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Owners are very friendly.
Place with amazing view.
Superclean. .
- Osamah (8/5): Serenity in the woods - The location was stunning, and the hosts (and dogs) were very kind. Others have pointed it out: the train was really loud but this didn't disturb me or impact my overall experience.
- Kay (5/5): Not enough wilderness for us - The cabin was cute, comfortable and clean. A great deal of cooking appliances were provided. The satellite tv worked. As there were no lights - the stars were magnificent. It wa a 50m walk to the toilet/shower in pitch black - no lights or path - very scary - helped with the torch from an iphone. The taps in our room were not working. Advertised as a "wilderness retreat" but only about 400m from the highway and close to a trainline with horns blasting at least every hour during the night.
- Matthew (6/5): A place with potential, but currently in disrepair. - The interior of the cabin was clean and comfortable and the woodwork and furnishings were outstanding. Complements to the housekeeping and to the craftsmen who built the cabin The drinking water containers were too large (10 gallons? standard for a water cooler), but were not connected to any dispenser and so the water they contained was inaccessible. The non-potable water to kitchen sink was not connected. Was greeted and helped by guests who were friends of the property owners, but didn't have answers to some questions. Never met the property owners. Bathroom and shower facilities were 50 yards from the cabin and were not clean and not fully in working order. Toilet flushed poorly. Lighting was not working.
- Agi (8/5): Very good - The set up Mosquitoes, poor quality of water
- Verveer (5/5): Passable - Train driving by regularly in the middle of the night
- Odessa (9/5): Superb - The owner was so helpful upon arrival, she drove us to the nearby spring to get drinking water and told us so much about the property and the land surrounding it. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our trip, it does get quite hot in there especially in the heatwave but everything else was just wonderful.
- Sheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Breath-taking views, comfy spacious cabin, warm welcome. Loved it!! I plan to stay here again. A true retreat. A few mosquitoes. But bug spray took care of them.
- Matt (8/5): Very good -
- Garrett (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful, great views, welcoming, cabins have everything you need.
