- Reinhard (10/5): - This stay was fantastic value, felt like a private home, and offered a very peaceful atmosphere; I would definitely book again. Cleanliness could be improved; there was some dust around the edge of the bed.
The room wasn't perfectly cleaned in all areas.

- LIANGJING (9/5): - value for money shower not hot
- Stefania (9/5): - Gradevole bungalow con veranda, spazioso e pulito. il proprietario é gentilissimo. Il Wi-Fi non funziona molto bene
C’é un gallo nei dintorni che si sente anche di notte

- Helis (6/5): It's okay - It's very basic but does the job The bangalow we stayed in needs some maintenance. There was water running from the AC not tripping literally running, so there was so much water on the floor. Walls have like holes in them or something, covered with paper or something. There were some power cuts, but I guess they can't do much about that. Anyway, for this price it's doable.
Also, I don't know if it's everyone in Laos, but you really feel that they are out for your money. Like even the simplest things like laundry, you have 2.1 kg and they round it up to 2.5. Also asked to extend for 2 nights and they offered us the room at a higher price than online.. Once we said that they called the boss and she offered us an even higher price for a night. We just decided to stay somewhere else after and it was a good decision.
- YOHEI (9/5): - Staff was very kind and helpful.
He consulted with me sincerely.
Single room but cheap price.
The room was clean. There was no electrical outlet near TV and kettle.

- Archie (6/5): Good for a few nights - Great location with views. Good for the price. Staff were very accomodating Beds were not very comfortable
- Gerald (5/5): Would not book again. - Construction going on next door. A lot of noise going on very early in the morning. Old and outdated. Moved to another hotel when I extended my stay. All the noise and construction starting at 6:00 am. Hard to find. Needs work and updating.
- Andrea (5/5): Passable - The show a room with Balcony and view and there was no Balcony
- Emilia (8/5): Very good - Great location, walking distance to everywhere. Plenty of agencies around offering yours and night market few minutes away. Room was spacious, with all the amenities and a nice terrace. Great value for money.
- Phongpheakham (7/5): Good -
- Somsay (9/5): Superb -
- Phongpheakham (8/5): Very good - Location Facilities, only one power socket in the room.
- Chamaiporn (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Nice and basic and good for the price. - The room had plenty of space. The price was good for what you get. The water was 15 seconds away to get a nice view. People complain for high end expectations then they should go pay for a high end hotel. This was an easy walk to all the main roads but enough away to have quiet. It is easy to hear the neighbors if they are loud enough. Didn’t have any housekeeping to at least freshen up.
- Anita (7/5): Ok for short stay. - Clean bed sheets and nice firm bed with bouncy pillows and duvet. The balcony was nice with view of the mountain, BUT there’s construction next door so it’s impossible to take a photo without the construction work. Laundry costs 40k per kilo and it came back soft and smelling amazing. 3 plugs in bedroom and not by the bed, all on the same wall by the door in room 210, but they gave me an extension chord. There’s not much food options around the hotel, instead there’s lots of tour shops. The internet is strongest on balcony as that’s where the router is. And yes, other reviews mention the pump, I can hear the pump going off every few seconds. It didn’t bother me as I was on second floor, but if you’re closer to the pump that might have been an issue and disturb your sleep. There’s a pole to hang your clothes but no hangers. I don’t even know why the tv is even in the room, it should be in the museum.
- Sareesh (8/5): Very good -
- John (7/5): Good place for a few nights - A normal place for a few days with a great balcony and a gorgeous view of the mountains and the river. There is a construction site nearby, but this is a temporary inconvenience.
The room has a kettle, hot water (although in the morning it stopped flowing, as there was an accident) and good wireless Internet.
It is located right in the center, everything is nearby (food, activities, etc.). It was quiet at night, it was good to sleep, although the walls are quite thin, you can clearly hear your neighbors.
- Capt (7/5): Good - In the photos, it seems like a tranquil oasis by the river, but actually the rooms don't face the mountains unless you're upstairs, and there is an enormous construction site next door. They started at 6:30 am.
- Yuval (8/5): Very good -
- Yuval (8/5): Very good -
- Remo (5/5): Centrally located accommodation, little noise protection - Centrally located. Large room. Friendly staff. Unfortunately very noisy due to surrounding building sites, but mainly due to motorised tourist attractions on land, water and in the air. Only Chinese guests in and around the accommodation drown out this noise with their sometimes inconsiderate nasty behaviour.
There is no proper reception, just an improvised office outside.
Rooms are rather dark, keep the curtains closed to prevent the heat from coming in.
The two doors to the room and to the communal balcony have large gaps at the bottom so that insects, attracted by the artificial light in the room, can easily get in.
Steep access to the accomodation over rubble and dirt. Steep stairs to the room (be careful not to bump your head!).
- Katie (9/5): Super comfortable and great value - Super comfortable bed, good shower, near the river, great value for money! The skirting boards were a bit rough but thats it
- Amrik (9/5): amazing value, clean, hot water, very helpful when available - extremely good value for money. huge room (double and single) with storage space, clean bathroom, working AC, hot shower.good price for transport to other cities.
allowed us early checkin for no additional charge! not much presence at reception, but incredibly helpful when there
- Thao (7/5): Good -
- Rose (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanne (5/5): Passable - Cheap and reasonably cheerful Building site right opposite so noisy and water kept going off due to building works.
- Luca (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant - The view from the balcony was why I booked they were great. The nice girl at reception booked my train tickets for me. She great even though we communicated on translation on her phone. The steep uneven steps getting down and the dirt track that takes you to the place. There is building work going on all the time from early morning and loads of dust. Yesterday no water and a guy brought up a big water bottle and and a pan so I could wash. Today before I left new people in the bungalows said they had no water.
- Seyed (8/5): Good Location with a Relaxing Atmosphere - This accommodation is in an excellent location, right next to the river and just a few minutes' walk to cozy restaurants and cafes. It features a lovely courtyard, and our room had a nice terrace where we could relax. The Wi-Fi was high-speed and stable. The bathroom and toilet were clean, with good water pressure and stable hot water. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were comfortable. They also provided free drinking water at all times, which was a nice touch. The reception staff could be friendlier and more welcoming.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Zoltan (6/5): Pleasant - The views from the balcony are amazing. The staff were nice. The bathroom wasn't ideal. The water was on and off throughout our stay and occasionally it was extremely dirty. The drain for everything is behind the toilet and all the sediment from the water would gather there. The AC was not working properly, so it was quite hot in the evenings.
- De-ko (9/5): nice place for good price - the location is great, the staff girl is helpful and nice.
the room is clean and they provide you with all the necessary staff: towels, soap, toothbrushes etc.
the AC and wifi work well
- Cami (8/5): Nice room but some serious security issues to fix asap - The room is big, has a nice balcony overseeing the river and the bed is comfy.
I struggled a bit to check in because the signs are not clear but I just called the number and someone came to help me. The door leading to the balcony doesn't close properly, and because the balconies from the rooms are communicating it means someone can actually get into your room, which is quite worrisome.
- Pedro (9/5): Superb - Beautiful place by the river, amazing view, good bed, good size Room, balcony, easy Access to town and atentive staff
- Sascha (7/5): Cheap option for location at the river - Location with a view over the river on the mountains. The little veranda, was nice to sit too.
View is partly obstructed and some bungalows seem to be left falling apart The construction site next to the building and the noise of it. There is a water pump system right behind the building that works all night long and the noise generated is really annoying and bothered a lot
There is no 24h reception, you have to wait for someone to call them.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel in great location. Staff very helpful. Would recommend!
- Michael (4/5): Not what I expected/ booked. - Good location. Large rroom. Off main / busy road. Linens pretty clean. Booked for balcony room, but didnt get it. No real check in. Staff member asleep when i checked in (2pm). Got a message at 10pm to say, sorry we booked you into wrong room, and I asked to change to balcony room, but no reply unti l10pm following night.. You need a padlock, as door not secure (you can push hard to open) . Very old / noisy aircon and fans. Make sure to get balcony room if you booked. Only one power outlet in room.
- Nguyen (9/5): Superb - Nice view, excellent location, quiet, clean Nothing
- Kathleen (9/5): Stunning views - Stunning views in a peaceful setting but close to town. Free chilled water available 24/7. After the first night, I told staff that the shower dripped but they did nothing about it during my 5 night stay.
Nowhere to hang clothes.
- Thi (9/5): Worth to stay - The mountain view is perfect, It's near a night market and food store. It is also near the river where you can join the Kayak. Check-in and check-out easily. The host was quite cute and kind. I will book again when I get back VangVieng The light in the room is not bright enough, I stay alone so feel little scared
- Philippa (8/5): comfortable and cosy - Great location Beds a bit hard
- Maia (8/5): Very good - The location was great and the beds were comfy. AC and fan was great. Didn’t get house cleaning, no one at reception, literally didn’t see any staff throughout our four day stay.
- Lior (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect, except its a little bit far from center. its a little bit far from center
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the view and it was near to a lot of activities. Clean and comfortable. Worth the stay.
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb - The view was beautiful, was cozy The stairs steps were too high and uneven
- Hannah (7/5): Good - The balcony had quite a nice view and the room was very cheap. We were put in a different type of room to the one we booked. When we complained, we were moved to a mixer room. The room was very old and basic. The bedding was stained and had holes. There were lots of insects in the room, many ants. The bathroom was very basic. Not the owners fault but there is building work next door which can be noisy
- Hyacinth (10/5): I loved my stay! I was supposed to stay for 2 weeks an ended up extending for 1 more - The view for one is gorgeous. I love the balcony where I can watch the sunrise and sunset, paramotors and hot air balloon on a daily basis. It was a little old. My room gets wet sometimes from idk where
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin (10/5): Good place to stay :) - Amazing view from the balcony!!! Big bed, clean room and bedding. Very helpful stuff - you can ask them to solve any problem, also rent a scooter. Everything was ok.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thein (9/5): Superb - The Best View & Location Aircon is sounding at night is so bad
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tana (9/5): Superb -
- Harriet (10/5): A wonderful stay, only sad I didn’t find this place sooner! - Comfortable bed, great view, helpful and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and all in all, a very relaxing stay. In a great location, quiet but close enough to everything. Incredible value for money, would definitely stay again!
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very helpful.
- Isabelle (8/5): Comfortable bed, amazing view, friendly and helpful staff, great location! - Location is fantastic and view of the river and hills is superb, great to have a balcony too! Bed was comfortable, room was clean (just a few tiny bugs but that is normal). Lady on reception was lovely and really helpful, assisted me with booking my onward travel and looked after my bags. Night market and great cafes etc nearby and everything in walking distance. Only small thing is I could not seem to locate the property on google maps when coming at night time and it’s next to a similarly named hotel which i accidentally tried to sign into! Maybe some clear directions would be a help :)
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional - We had a time of our lives there. It’s really clean, they even provide some toothbrushes. It’s next to most of the places so it’s easy to walk or ride anywhere.
There is an ac and a fan. You cannot really hear other guests as the walls are thick. I would really recommend as I think it’s good value for money. Nothing
- Bruce (10/5): A great choice!( - Nice view from my room. Friendly owner and staff. Clean room and comfortable bed. I even booked a bus ride to Vientiane and rented a great and reliable motorbike. Great location. They also do laundry. Several stores nearby, near Walking Street, and restaurants.
- Khin (8/5): Very good - View from balcony is amazing The air conditioned makes noise!
- Charlotte (9/5): Great value for money stay in Vang Vieng - Beautiful view of the mountains from the room! The AC worked well and the beds were good. Easy and smooth check in process. Was quiet both nights that we stayed there. Nothing.
- Mariposa (7/5): Great Value for Mountain Views - We saw a few different rooms over a couple visits. Upper rooms have beautiful mountain views and balconies. Beds are more comfortable than most in Laos. Staff is accommodating. Good value while staying in town. No major complaints. Some rooms could benefit from softer lighting. One room could’ve needed more furniture for bags and such.
- Kristen (8/5): Basic accommodations in clean and spacious room. - Nice location, not too far from the main street down a little hill. Something to know is that there is a hotel behind this one that seems to have the same name. This one is lower-end and not that easy to find. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Price was good. Mosquitoes kept coming into the room and we didn't know from where - maybe the fan? We slept with bug spray on. The bathroom had one of the showers that is not separate from the toilet and sink area so everything got wet - not specific to this hotel, but it might be good to know if you don't like this type of bathroom.
- Dylan (9/5): Great value - Great location. Fairly central but relatively quiet
- Francy (8/5): Very good -
- Johanna (9/5): Superb - Actually perfect accommodation! Super big room, very clean, great balcony, great location, great view! I loved that we could open the windows! The staff are super lovely and you can always ask them for things like new toilet paper or small bottles of drinking water. They are helpful here! We felt super comfortable, best accommodation we had in laos :) The only criticism is the lack of a water dispenser. We could always ask for new water (and got some every time) but only small 200ml bottles, which of course doesn't last long. It was also a huge waste of plastic! So we had to keep buying more water... a water dispenser would be really great!
- Francesca (9/5): Superb - Such lovely friendly staff, we had some ants in our bathroom on the first day and the homestay host came and got rid as soon as we told him. Great location, spacious clean rooms and nice little balcony. Tad noisy early in the morning but nothing to complain about!
- Bartal (6/5): Pleasant - The view from the balcony was fantastic. The hotel is right next to the river with a view of the mountains. The room was basic but clean. The bed a bit hard, no covers on the comforter which I find odd. The staff let themselves into the room while I was sleeping to look for the owners cat that had climbed onto the balcony. I was pretty upset about it and they apologized but I feel it is inappropriate to enter the guests room for ANY reason other than housekeeping.
- Georgina (8/5): Very good - The views from the balcony are amazing. The staff is really kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable and there was also a kettle in the room. During the day is a bit noisy due to the trafic.
We missed a fridge in the room.
- Emmanuelle (8/5): Very good -
- Emmanuelle (8/5): Nice location needs improvement - The owner is super kind and offered to pick me from bus station where there are so many scam. I’m very grateful. The location is super as it is facing Mekong River. customer service is hard to communicate. Room is not cleaned regularly even asked and definitively bring your own bathroom paper. One thin paper tissue pack it provides is useless and doesn’t last one day. Exchange rate from USD to Laos is calculated is 23 instead of actual rate of 20ish.
- Lea (9/5): Superb -
- Long (10/5): Exceptional -
