• Alice (8/5): - Cottage carino, accogliente e situato in un posto bellissimo. Spazio veramente troppo piccolo per 4 persone, in relazione al prezzo pagato. Non è possibile nemmeno aprire le valigie. Assolutamente da cambiare é il lavandino del bagno, grande come il palmo di una mano, ma la cosa più assurda è che lo specchio che é posizionato sopra ha una mensola a 10 cm dal lavandino che non permette di infilarsi con la faccia per lavarla, bisogna lavarsi la faccia in cucina. O togliete la mensola o fate più grande il lavandino. Direi veramente eccessivo!

• Anna (10/5): Excellent - I booked the cabin before noticing that it was only 12 square metres in size. My husband is over two metres tall, so naturally we were a little concerned about how comfortable our stay would be. As it turned out, those concerns were completely unnecessary! The cabin may be small, but for a one-night stay it was absolutely fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchenette—with pots, glasses, and all the essential utensils—was a great advantage. The bathroom is compact, but the entire cabin was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable, and we had no issues with internet access throughout our stay. The only minor drawback was the towels. Although they were clean, they appeared somewhat worn from frequent washing, and their original white colour had faded to grey, which made them look less appealing than they actually were. However, this tiny inconvenience was more than compensated for by enjoying our morning coffee while overlooking the canyon. The view is simply spectacular, and the access point leading directly down to the canyon is literally just a few metres from the cabin! The location is outstanding, and the cabin is absolutely worth recommending. For those planning their visit, the food truck on site was open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during our stay at the end of May.

• SeamusC (7/5): A little too cozy but still worth it. - The proximity to the canyon and hiking was great. The place was cozy and had a small kitchenette and dishes pots and pans for our use. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom and shower were small but functional. The cabins are separate from the campground and a little more private. The water didn't smell like sulfur this time. It was very small warm to the point of sweating all night. We would periodically have to open the door to cool the place down. We eventually figured out how to turn the heat down and that made a big difference. There's a knob on the back of the radiator that only a person with small arms can reach. I thought I was getting the bigger cabin but I was wrong. That one overlooks the canyon and it's about twice the size as the one we stayed in. The parking thing was an issue. We arrived late and wasn't able to get the parking voucher squared away with the parka app. I ended up getting a ticket. The pay to park thing is out of control in Iceland.

Im Sommer könnte man auch draussen sitzen und den Abend geniessen. Bequeme Schlafmöglichkeit Leider sah es auf den Fotos um einiges grösser aus als es war. Man hatte fast keinen Platz für den Koffer und auch zum essen war zu wenig Platz da. Das Bad hatte unserer Meinung nach nicht die höchste Qualität, war eher zerbrechlich. • Woelfel (4/5): Irreführende Unterkunft mit deutlich weniger Komfort als erwartet. - Die Lage am Canyon war super und die Terrasse war schön groß. Die ersten 20 Bilder der Unterkunft vermitteln bei der Buchung den Eindruck, dass man den großen modernen Container bucht. Tatsächlich handelt es sich bei den Bungalows mit Terrasse jedoch um die kleinen Hütten auf den letzten Bildern. Diese sind extrem klein, was mit Gepäck sehr unpraktisch und herausfordernd war. Zudem ist das Badezimmer nicht vom restlichen Raum abgetrennt – es gibt weder wirklichen Schallschutz noch Schutz vor Gerüchen. Die Küche war nur sehr minimal ausgestattet (z. B. keine Suppenteller vorhanden). Außerdem dunkeln die Rollos den Raum nicht vollständig ab, und die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen – lediglich die Eingangstür. Insgesamt empfanden wir die Vermarktung der Unterkunft als irreführend.

• Luca (7/5): Posizione incantevole…. - Proprio nel parcheggio principale del canyon(dormendoci vi verrà registrata la targa e non dovrete pagare il parcheggio) Noi eravamo in 4 adulti e diciamo che è molto piccolo. Anche la camera matrimoniale ha giusto lo spazio per girare intorno al tavolo….4 adulti con 4 zaini ci stavamo molto stretti …però nel complesso passabile. La cucina è piccola con piastre ad induzione ma senza forno. Piccola per 4 persone

Good for seeing the northern lights because its dark at night This would be fine for 1 person. It is not fine for 2. The cabin is not what is first pictured. Scroll to the bottom of all the pictures. The second person gets trapped between you and the wall and has to climb over you to get out of bed. And not pictured is the fact that the bathroom wall is open so you dont have full privacy in the bathroom. You might not see the person in there but you can hear everything. Very uncomfortable for 2 people and it should not be advertised for 2. Also the 2 different cabins should be different postings. And the bathroom partial wall should be properly shown in pictures

• Maria Lidia Petrulli (10/5): Incantevole - Bellissimo cottage, caldo, confortevole, dotato di tutte le comodità cucina attrezzata, situato sul canyon Studlagyl. La strada per arrivarci è discreta. A 100 metri, nel parcheggio del canyon che è adiacente alla struttura, c'è un localino dove poter bere e mangiare qualcosa. Personalmente, ho preferito usare il cucinino. Dal bungalow al canyon sono forse 50 metri di distanza. Il posto è davvero bello, un po' caro ma, secondo me, in linea coi prezzi islandesi. Forse per due persone è un po' piccolo, ma per una persona è perfetto. Il letto è davvero molto comodo. Ottima anche la comunicazione via booking, mi hanno risposto subito e esaudito le mie richieste : ci tornerei ed è un posto che consiglio. Ai gestori del posto, invece, consiglierei di mettere in maggiore evidenza i dati concernenti il Wi-Fi, perché ho faticato per trovarli e, lassù, senza internet sei fuori dal mondo. Niente

• DONATO (2/5): Orribile - Solamente la posizione, vicino alla scalinata e balconate per vedere una parte del Canyon. Praticamente un buco. Prezzo spropositato per un buco di pochi metri quadrati (ne vale meno della metà del prezzo pagato). La maggior parte delle foto sono del bungalow grande. Se si entra con due zaini, già devi scavalcarli per andare in bagno. Per scendere dal letto devi scavalcare il partner, se sei dalla parte della parete . La peggiore in assoluto dal mio viaggio in Islanda. La miglior cosa , è tenere gli zaini in macchina ed entrare con lo stretto necessario, perché sia almeno vivibile. Fortuna che era solo per una notte, se fosse stato per più notti sarebbe stato un bel problema (:

Dimensioni davvero troppo ridotte…ho dovuto lasciare in macchina tutte le mie cose per totale assenza di spazio. Anche il letto molto piccolo, chi dorme al lato destro deve scavalcare chi dorme a sinistra per poter uscire dal letto. Il costo è troppo elevato per questo cottage sebbene la posizione sia di rilievo!

Gli spazi sono veramente piccoli, con le valigie è difficile muoversi. La cucina non è fornita di tutto il necessario. Basterebbe aggiungere un tostapane, un bollitore, delle pentole in più e dei piatti in più e visto il prezzo ci aspettavamo una attenzione migliore sui dettagli (es. Solo 2 bustine di tè) Il bagno invece era comodo.

• Daniel (10/5): Top Lage mit hilfsbereitem Personal - Super Lage um ins Hochland zu starten und Studlagil Canyon direkt vor der Türe. Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sehr freundliches Personal. (Hatten einen platten Reifen und das Werkzeug im Auto war schrott. Personal half mit super Werkzeug beim Ersatzreifen montieren, deshalb muss man 10 Punkte geben :)) Wand zwischen Bett und Badezimmer ging nicht bis zur Decke. Somit hört man alle Geräusche. Für frisch Verliebte vielleicht nicht ideal ;)

• Manuela (8/5): Accomodation con vista Studlagil Canyon! - La posizione direttamente con vista sullo Studlagil Canyon. Abbiamo alloggiato nella casa numero 1, quella più grande, quindi lo spazio era più che sufficiente per noi. La pulizia un po’ approssimativa, in particolare nella zona dell’angolo cottura. Considerando il prezzo elevato e che sono presenti solo 3 casette, basterebbe un pochino più di attenzione per rendere ancora più speciale questa accomodation!

All the necessary is in the house, just do your grocery shopping in Egilsstaðir before (or there s a small snack/bar on the spot). /

La struttura è molto comoda per 2 persone ma, come nel nostro caso, in 4 è risultata un po' angusta: dover spostare il tavolo da pranzo per aprire il divano letto rende l'utilizzo degli spazi un po' più complesso. Il prezzo è un po' alto ma le alternative in zona sono praticamente inesistenti.

Ahimè intorno non c’è nulla quindi bisogna guidare davvero molto tempo prima di trovare altre strutture. Comodissimo dopo una giornata di visite. Campeggio ben tenuto e pulitissimo. Anche la casetta è davvero pulita e fornita di tutto per cucinare. La casetta è davvero troppo piccola per due persone. Un lato del letto è senza uscita quindi davvero scomodo. Cuscini terribili ma in Islanda li sto trovando tutti così. Non c’è posto per posare una valigia figuriamoci due. Dehor non coperto Quindi per il clima islandese non fruibile praticamente mai!
