• Jen (8/5): Great location for a wine tour or a weekend away in the Hunter! - Great location in the Hunter Valley. All the wineries were so accessible and nothing was more than 15 minutes away. Had a great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nothing. Everything was great!

Couldn’t close the bathroom door, there was a hole in the door instead of a handle Turned on the bathroom light at night to see cockroaches scrambling down the shower drain No room service available after 8:30 No where to get anything to eat, not even a vending machine. Advertised as having a mini bar but all that was in the fridge we’re two small cartons of long life milk.

• Sonia (5/5): Disappointing, never again - Great location and friendly staff Dark, dirty with spiders and flies everywhere, numerous trails of ants (or termites) and they knew as they had provided bug spray for them! Old and run down and the food in the restaurant in the evening was awful, expensive and as I’m Allergic to tree nuts all I got was 3 fat chips, cold beetroot and a couple of cherry tomatoes and not much more, obviously the chef tried to design it to look more than the tasteless crap it was. My husband took the salmon but it was mediocre with not much taste

• Maria (10/5): - i have stayed previously so i like it. easy for lots of locations near by. hotel is nice I think the rooms should be more cleaner. eg. the bathroom tiles are filthy; they should be scrubbed Too much mould has built up on them. for the price you pay you should also give complimentary bathroom accessories.

• Julie (7/5): - As a group stay we had fun exploring the wineries, cheese factory, and tavern etc within walking distance. Mecure is also very central to the Hunter Valley winery circuit. The rooms are clean, tidy and the beds are super comfy. All the staff were awesome 👌 The facilities need an upgrade - the pool table & cues need replacing in the bar area.

• Christopher (9/5): an excellent place to rest and unwind. The staff are friendly and extremely accommodating - Breakfast - continental- wonderful selection. Well patronised and given that on a Monday morning cafes do not open until 10am, the breakfast being available allowed us to be well nourished for the day ahead. Dinner in teh restaurant was excellent with a high level of service, despite only a few tables booking in and around 20 people walking in, the staff looked after everyone very professionally and had a friendly helpful approach. Guests rocking up to dinner in trackies and flip flops/ thongs. (Walking too) They also tended to be the most demanding of staff . Probably nothing could be done except perhaps a dress code.

• Lari (8/5): Lovely place to stay shame about the bathroom - Gorgeous location, setting and very comfy. Staff were delightful and helpful. The bathroom was really grubby and loads of mould around the sink plug. Pretty gross.

• Robert (8/5): Room 702 - The ambience, the comfotability and the bar and dining facility. The room, albeit very comfortable, is tired. Thebathroom mirror has a vertcal style crack near the centre, the left hand basin is also cracked and the wooden doors and shelves are exhibitng nemerous paint chips from long term fair wear and tear.

Shower had some mouldy spots, spiderwebs from lights to air con and cockroach in the bathroom. Toilet runs constantly and shower leaks into bathroom.

Tables were not set and dirty , no cultery and ver poor service , may be they were short staff , maybe busier than normal due to a wedding event in the Hunter , though not excusable sorry not on for guests stayng there if breakfast is served til 10:30am

Amenities available were great, more than we had time to enjoy. Good parking, air conditioning good. Balcony enjoyable. All minor requests when we were there happily met: extra plates, cutlery,etc. Staff great!! 👍 Beautiful grounds. Didn't want an app! Please provide folders with hotel information. No forks, large plates in room. The rooms were clean, basic tasks done well but lack of attention to details: Corners dirty, bug squish marks on walls, freezer needs defrosting, cupboard doors need paint. Major things good, attention to details needed. Terrace tables outside reception weren't clean enough that we wanted to sit out there, large beautiful fountain disappointingly not working.
