In case of bad weather conditions and risks of storms, Halong Bay Port Authority might limit the possibilities of cruising and make final decision of cruise cancelation.
In the event of foreboding storms, cancelation is informed prior to arrival date and guests do not travel to Ha Long, full refund is given to the guests.
In case of cancelation on arrival day, or during the chosen itinerary, charge occurs based on the cruise's policy. Kindly contact the property for further details.

Transfer service (Pick up and drop off within Hanoi Old Quarter area only) is available at an extra charge. Rates for round-trip service in a shared bus are USD 40 per guest in a luxury bus.

- Daniela (10/5): Traumhafte Tour - Wir waren mit einer tollen Crew und tollen anderen Gästen in der ruhigeren Vinh Bai Halong Bucht unterwegs. Unser Kreuzfahrtchef Andy hat uns rund um die Uhr sehr gut betreut und informiert. Die Tour mit 3 Tagen/ 2 Nächten war viel zu schnell vorbei. Nach der Ankunft am Schiff gab es schon das erste mehrgängige Menü. Nachmittags ein Ausflug mit dem Kajak, abends Kochkurs. Am nächsten Tag Ausflug zum schwimmenden Dorf. Selbst am Tag der Abreise konnten wir noch eine Höhle besuchen. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und bei der Ausflugsfahrt an Tag 2 mittags viel zu viel. Abends von 17.00 Uhr bis 19.00 Uhr Hsppy Hour, so dass die etwas höheren Getränkepreise nicht so schlimm sind. Unsere Kabine auf Deck 2 war sehr groß mit Balkon und Kleiderschrank. Im Bad eine Whirlpoolwanne, für die genügend heißes Wasser zur Verfügung stand. Die Tour durch die Bucht ein unglaublich schönes Erlebnis, ein paar Sonnenstrahlen mehr wären schön gewesen. Aber das Wetter konnte auch Andy nicht ändern. Bereits zu Beginn der Reise erhielten wir eine detaillierte Übersicht zum Programm der folgenden Tage.

Our room was big, with a spa and balcony to enjoy a quiet drink. We did 2 nights, and if you're able to, we can't recommend this enough. It allows you to truly relax, appreciate the surroundings, do a day tour, and enjoy the amazing food and drinks whilst absorbing the incredible views - a beautiful part of the world. The service was incredible, and a big shout out to Andy and the staff for looking after us - thank you! You all made us all feel so welcome. If you are looking to do a cruise in the Halong Bay area, but would prefer a more relaxing vibe away from the crowds, then we would highly recommend this Signature Royal cruise - you won't be disappointed.

- Maria (10/5): Totally worth it - Choosing this cruise over the ones which sail Ha Long was a wise choice, as Bai Tu Long is far less crowded and you can totally immerse in the breathtaking scenery. The ship facilites were top notch and spotless. The meals were delicious, hard to pick one dish over another as they were all really tasty. As for the staff, they were all lovely and super nice, but I have to especially mention the Cruise Manager, Win, who did a superb job and turned this cruise into an unforgettable experience. He was welcoming, funny, and prompt to solve any issues or questions any of us may have. A true professional; thank you for a wonderful time, Win!!

De la cuisine au chambre en passant par l'accueil,le service, le bar et l'animation tout était parfait. Une mention spéciale à M.Morning qui à rendu cette croisière magnifique et inoubliable ( kropchai lai lai). Des bon souvenir de pêche aux calamars avec l'équipage le soir . Et la surprise au brunch avec la préparation des calamars restera dans nos cœurs. Merci infiniment pour votre excellente prestation. Quitter la croisière, on serait bien restés.

The staff, especially our guides Win and Lilly, were so caring and made sure everybody enjoyed their time on the cruise. Nothing! Just note that solo travellers may struggle to kayak alone unless they are experienced as the boats are meant for 2 people.

The thing we can't get over was how much food they fed us! We were stuffed! And all of it was very good! Little confusing on the communications on excursions, but overall a great experience.
- Annika (10/5): Wonderful cruise in Halong Bay - The ship accommodates only a few passengers, which made the experience feel very intimate. The suite we stayed in was spacious, with its own balcony and a jacuzzi. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the entire stay. We also enjoyed the kayaking immensely. We were worried beforehand that there would be hundreds of kayaks on the water — however, the crew took us to a quieter spot, which made the experience even better than we could have imagined. All in all, it was a wonderful cruise we will never forget! Unfortunately there were some guests with us on the ship that were not treating the crew as they deserve. (Of course, not the crew’s fault.)

- Elena (8/5): - La crociera si svolge a Bay Tu long, più tranquilla di Ha Long Bay, il paesaggio è meraviglioso e c'erano solo altre due navi oltre alla nostra. Il cibo è molto buono e Andy il nostro boat manger era eccezionale nella professionalità e disponibilità! È valsa sicuramente la pena fare due notti, perché il secondo giorno è stato quello con l'attività più bella, che ci ha portati su una spiaggetta deserta dove eravamo solo noi! Veramente poche attività. Il primo giorno l'unica cosa che viene fatta è un giro in kayak di 40 minuti e poi si torna in nave. Le attività di coking class e pesca sono stata molto deludenti e brevi. Così come il terzo giorno, dove abbiamo visitato una grotta in circa 30 minuti. Invece il secondo giorno, per quanto sia stata bella come attività, dura comunque poco e c'è tantissimo spreco di tempo per i passaggi dalla nave grande a quella giornaliera. Alla fine l'attività dura 3/4 ore, per tornare il nave alle 14 e non avere niente da fare.

Nous étions aux anges sur ce bateau même si l’aspect collectif peut rebuter au début. Mais pas du tout, le soir nous avons un cours de cuisine sur le pont du bateau suivi d’un très subtil happy hour. La nourriture est assez recherchée et surtout met en avant toutes les jolies spécialités du Vietnam. Excursion au village de pêcheur vraiment mémorable, kayak et baignade tous les jours. Cocktails were great and squid fishing was fun in the evening. We did 2 nights and second day we were moved onto a small boat. It was very hot and went for a long time.

El personal te cuida en cada momento y siempre están pendientes de qué estes disfrutando, en especial LILY, MORNING Y WIN, super serviciales, encantadores en todo momento, te explican todo al detalle…este tipo de trabajadores hay que cuidarlos. El barco tiene un buen tamaño, no es de los mas grande, lo cual hace que la estancia sea mas tranquila e intima. La habitación con balcón muy limpia y con unas vistas espectaculares. Especial mencion a las comidas y cenas, son de 10, todo riquisimo y de muy buena calidad. Creo que es una actividad que compensa mas hacer con 2 noches ya que si contratas una noche entra el check in y el check out realmente disfrutas poco tiempo, menos de 24 horas. Nosotros hemos estado 2 noches y hemos podido disfrutar de un dia entero haciendo actividades en lugares donde no habia practicamente nadie. Tambien cabe destacar que en este crucero te llevan por la bahia de Bai tu Long, son los mismos paisajes que en Halong Bay, pero al estar un poco mas lejos, practicamente no hay barcos, en los 3 dias apenas nos cruzamos con 6 barcos, lo recomiendo encarecidamente!!

They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. They really did everything to take care of us. At one point, I even ran out of cigarettes, and a staff member who didn’t speak any English kindly gave me some. That level of kindness and care was just incredible. Overall, an amazing cruise experience. Highly recommended!

Whilst the boat and surroundings were stunning, it was the staff that made the trip memorable. Morning, Lily, Win and the entire crew went over and above from the moment we arrived. It’s hard to fault anything but our only suggestion is that we would have preferred more authentic Vietnamese food at dinner time. The share plate lunches were a highlight and we would have preferred this style of food at dinner too. But this is a very minor gripe.

Our bedroom with the outside deck area at the front of the boat was large and clean. Comfortable bed. Plenty of delicious food and something for everyone. The trip to the floating village, the cave and beach were also great. Squid fishing in the evening. Absolutely nothing. Wish we had booked for 2 nights instead of 1.

It was no problem for them to sub some food due to allergies, which was helpful. Our cruise director was Win, and he was so helpful. He kept us informed of what was happening regularly. Even arranged a transfer to our next destination for us and took us to the atm. And we had some great chats with him. Thanks, Win! Tony was great also, and the lady at the bar whose name we can't remember. Also, Megan on the day boat looked after us well too. Definitely recommend this one! Nothing

The ship has recently been re-fitted and the cabins were great. Food was excellent. The floor drain in our cabin en-suite smelled but that is fixable.

Would also like to thank the captain and kitchen staffs for making our cruise experience wonderful. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, delicious meals and fun activities. Love the quieter route with less crowd. Beautiful view of Bai Tu Long Bay. We prefer having a proper shower rather than bath tub. Would also love to have more time on the boat. 3D2N trip will probably be better.

- Danielle (10/5): Beautiful relaxing trip- highly recommend!! - We had such a wonderful 3D 2N trip to Bai Tu Long Bay with this ship. Mr Morning met us with a big smile and it was all so relaxing and organised for the next 3 days. The ship looks old from the outside but is all renovated inside. Our room was so big and comfortable and we had a great balcony to enjoy the scenery. We had a bath in our room and there was enough hot water the whole trip. We loved watching out window from the awesome bathtub- especially after we had a swim and warmed back up in the bath! The food was absolutely delicious and our kids loved it too. We loved our day trip with Ms Anh (Megan) who made us laugh all day and even had a flower carving competition with the chef to teach us how to make the garnish- which were amazing! We jumped off the day boat and went to the floating village. All very lovely experiences. I really can’t fault the cruise and it is the 4th one we have done as we always bring our family on them when they visit us. Thank you to all the staff for making our family feel so welcome! We’ll be back for sure. There isn’t much you could improve. The only thing I can think of is to tell people there is glass bottles that can be refilled whenever they like in their rooms. Ample water is supplied so make sure guests bring a reusable bottle. We love that plastic is now banned.

Everything was very clean, in both the rooms and the common areas. The location in Bai Tu Long Bay is peaceful and breathtaking. The price is on the higher end, and while the quality matches it, the value for money could be improved with a few more generous inclusions (like drinks or more activity time)

- Shauna (10/5): A perfect tranquil experience after the chaos of Hanoi city! - The boat was beautiful and recently refurbished with stylish interiors. It is a smaller boat with approx 15 rooms which is great for meeting people. The captain was very approachable and allowed us into the bridge for photos. He takes a route to a quieter area away from the busy Halong Bay. It was so peaceful and tranquil. Our room was really spacious and clean with a large bed and jacuzzi bath overlooking the water. We had a lovely balcony and window that we could open wide and sit out and read. The food was amazing - so well presented and fresh flavours. The young chef was so talented and they asked us if we wanted any menu changes before we ate. They even remembered we couldn’t eat clams and were very observant to any allergies. Staff were so helpful and fun going above and beyond to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. We loved the kayaking. Win, Morning, Lily, Megan and all of the staff could not have even more helpful. We had to leave early to get our flight and Win and Morning made the transition to our transport stress free. We are glad we chose Signature cruises. We will definitely recommend to any of our friends. Nothing! Everything was amazing.

- Madeleine (10/5): Luxurious feeling and a great price - The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed two nights and I think that’s a better amount of time than the one night option, we got more time to relax. The food was amazing and very plentiful. My husband and I are vegetarian and we were concerned about the food but it ended up being one of the highlights. Really good and not all fried like we heard about. It was a good mix of Vietnamese cuisine too. The staff were also so friendly (especially Suny, Lilly, and Morning)! Just a note that when we visited the air quality was really bad and we couldn’t sit outside on the deck for very long without starting to feel sick. Heads up that you may want to check the air quality reports before you visit and consider bringing a mask for the time you spend outdoors.

The room and beds were good They didn’t provide much activities on a 2 night and 1 day cruise. Other cruises were doing more outdoor activities and we were just stuck on the boat. Food options were very limited. Vegetarian and vegan guys, stay away as options will be limited to one or two!

The trip to the caves was a highlight. I can’t say that anything in particular was anything I disliked.
- Thomas (9/5): Lovely time 3D2N in the Athena Royal Suite - The cruise manager, Mr.Chien, was a clear communicator that made us feel at ease and most staff members were equally enthusiastic in providing a good service. It’s a must to stay 3D2N on the cruise in my opinion to be able to enjoy the beauty of the area on the additional day. If you would only spend one night, you may risk only seeing a couple overcrowded places on land. The extra day was used, highly appreciated, to set sail around more quiet areas of the bay. The airconditioning didn’t work on arrival but the cruise manager found an ad hoc solution for the first night. On the second day, this problem was solved. However, on the second day the bathroom got flooded because the drains did not work properly. A bit unfortunate that both events took place in their Royal Suite. Nonetheless, the room was overall more than fine and I would still recommend other passengers to book it.

We were on the cruise with our 1 year old baby and the staff was incredibly accommodating and Mr Morning especially. Everything we needed, even though it was harder to deal with, he found ways to make it happen. Also, he was great at entertaining and having separate conversations with guests. The ship is a bit run down.
- Amit (10/5): Exceptional - Unforgettable experience. Amazing hosts, especially Mr. Morning, always smiling and ensuring guests are absolutely comfortable. Our Royal Suite was royal and impeccable. Kayaking and secluded beach tours were just unforgettable experiences. Food was five-star served beautifully. My family still says it's the best vacation they ever had.

The staff was amazing although a few of them barely could speak English witch made Life a little dificult. Our cruise manager Tom was absolutly amazing and the Crhistmas party had amazing food and drink. Cruise rooms are a little old but nothing that would ruins the experience. Drinks are very expensive on board and there is no free option in the common areas, not even water.

- Laura (8/5): 3 days in a wonderful landscape - We spend 3 days and 2 nights and that is the best option. We had a whole day to enjoy Tu long bay, we did kayaking and swimming in a wonderfull place and it was only us, an other couple and the guide. The staff was lovely, smilling and carring. The boat itself was pretty nice, beds were confortable. (Doing just 2 days and 1 night, is really short and because their is a strict schedule to follow with the activities, you don't really have time to enjoy the landscape. Our experience was greate because we did 3days/2nights, otherwose it would have been expensive for not such an amazing experience) The water of the shower was nlt hot enough, the food was not always the best (brunch...) and was cold sometimes, they don't tell you that there's a 10% extra on all the drinks you have onboard, and they're already quite expensive, not having unlimited free water or at least free water at meal time.
