• Goran_BA (9/5): - A centrally located apartment with a terrace overlooking Ledras Street. Very well equipped, there was even a laundry room, with a washing machine and an ironing board, which we did not expect. Across the street from the apartment is a great beer bar. It is next to impossible to find parking in the vicinity, which is expected for this location. We were prepared for this and planned where to park the car.

Wir waren bei Ankunft positiv überrascht, da das Apartment größer war als wir anhand der Fotos erwartet hatten. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Nikosia an einem Tag zu erkunden, da es direkt über der Ledra Street - keine 2min vom Checkpoint - liegt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super. Etwas unangenehmer Geruch im Bad.

Le canapé et le lit sont confortables, la télé est fonctionnelle et on peut se connecter à Netflix. La cuisine est fonctionnelle. La salle de bain est belle, propre et agréable. Il y a une terrasse. L'appartement est en plein centre et proche de la frontière. L'appartement est mal isolé et situé en plein centre et proche de la Turquie donc du minaret. Ce qui fait qu'on est souvent réveillé... les bouchons d'oreille sont indispensables. Mais je dirais que c'est le seul inconvénient.

Not to forget the exceptional location: it is just meters away from the border crossing and there are great bars and restaurants all around. If you stay here try out the Mexican restaurant around the corner and the craft beer bar across to it.

• Angela (9/5): - Tolle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, hat immer sofort geantwortet und alles gut erklärt. Die Wohnung ist sehr nett und für die, die mit dem Bus aus Pafos ankommen, knapp 10 Minuten von der Endhaltestelle, entfernt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Altstadt, wenige Minuten vom Grenzübergang entfernt. Die Wohnung liegt mit den Fenstern auf die belebte Hauptstraße raus und an dem Abend an dem wir dort waren, ein Freitagabend, war es bis Mitternacht sehr laut aufgrund der Musik aus den Lokalen aber punkt Mitternacht wurde es leise. In dem Zimmer ist es in der Nacht etwas hell.

• ORFANOY (9/5): Ωραίο σπίτι με λίγη φροντίδα θα είναι εξαιρετικό - Μου άρεσε ότι ήταν δίπλα στην οδό Λήδρας. Το κρεβάτι ήταν μεγάλο και άνετο. Το σύστημα για το ζεστό νερό ήταν ιδιαίτερο και αποτελεσματικό. Το μπάνιο ήταν καθαρό και το σπίτι γενικά. Το air-condition καλό. Ωραίο μπαλκόνι με τραπεζοκαθίσματα. Η είσοδος του κτηρίου ήταν παλιά και αφροντιστη σε μεγάλο βαθμό. Δεν υπήρχε ανελκυστήρας και το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο 2ο όροφο. Το πάτωμα του σπιτιού δεν είχε σκουπίσει και υπήρχαν σκουρόχρωμες τρίχες από γυναικείο κεφάλι σε όλο το υπνοδωμάτιο. Τα κουφώματα δεν έχουν καμία ηχομόνωση έτσι όλος ο θόρυβος από τη Λήδρας είναι μέσα στο σπίτι.

Sijainti oli loistava, pääkadun varrella vanhankaupungin sydämessä. Huoneistossa oli kaikki tarpeellinen pidempäänkin oleskeluun. Sisustus oli viihtyisä. Molto consigliata dotata di tutti i servizi minimi richiesti ci tornerei. Unica pecca forse della struttura è il palazzo in cui è situata molto datato che non fa presagirei nulla di buono. Ma in realtà poi la struttura è tutta un’altra cosa

• Hilary (10/5): so close to the border - The instructions were very easy to follow and we were surprised by the size of the apartment. It was very modern. It had great views overlooking the street and we could almost see the border posts , if it had not been for the large street shades. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The main street is pedestrianised but street noise can be heard especially from the cafe opposite, That being said, we enjoyed a great meal there in the evening and the live entertainment was not overpowering. It did go one until the early hours but we had our windows open and it did not disturb us....it just added to the relaxed atmosphere of the city

Cependant il est au dessus d'un restaurant et en face d'un bar où il y a de la musique live qui résonne jusqu'à 3h30 du matin et sans double vitrage, c'est intenable. Morale:si vous rentrez tôt du resto, vers 22h ou souhaitez vous reposer après une bonne journée de visite, malgré tous les équipements, choisissez plus approprie. • Al-Khasawneh (1/5): My stay at this hotel was the worst experience of my life, as I was directly threatened by the owner - To the Management of Booking.com, I am writing to lodge a formal and urgent complaint regarding a deeply disappointing and humiliating experience I recently encountered at one of the properties listed on your platform. I made a reservation through Booking.com in good faith, relying on the information and assurances provided in the listing. From the outset, I communicated with the property owner with the utmost courtesy and respect. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the apartment was entirely unsuitable—it was so small that it could not even accommodate a child comfortably, let alone two adults as advertised. Even more distressing was the complete absence of internet service, despite the booking contract explicitly stating that high-speed internet was included. When I inquired, I was told the internet was unavailable in the entire area. Yet, I confirmed with nearby restaurants and cafés—just below and across the street—that they had stable internet with no outages. This was clearly a false excuse. Despite my disappointment, I addressed the matter politely, explaining that I required internet access for important academic and professional duties. Instead of offering a solution, the property owner reacted with hostility and intimidation, repeatedly insisting that I cancel my booking to avoid receiving a negative review. When I refused, I was threatened with eviction. continued>>>What made matters worse was the conduct of a man who entered the apartment without consent, sometimes introducing himself as the owner’s husband and other times as her “friend.” He intruded while my wife was not wearing her headscarf, a grave violation of our privacy, dignity, and religious values. This intrusion, coupled with his mocking response when I mentioned contacting the police, gave the impression that the rule of law in Cyprus is disregarded, leaving us vulnerable as guests. I was also pressured several times to cancel the reservation myself—clearly an attempt to manipulate the review process. At one point, I was even told to buy an internet card for three euros. While the amount is trivial, the principle is appalling; instead of compensating for the breach of contract, the property owner attempted to exploit the situation further. Ultimately, under repeated threats and intimidation, I was forced to comply with the owner’s demand to leave the apartment. This was not a voluntary decision but one made under duress, and it left me and my wife feeling humiliated, disrespected, and unsafe. Such treatment is unacceptable in any civil society, let alone in the tourism industry where hospitality, respect, and guest protection should be paramount. It is inconceivable that, instead of receiving fair treatment and a solution to the contractual breach, I was subjected to harassment, intimidation, and invasion of privacy. This incident is not merely a personal affront to me as a university professor and president; it is also an insult to the values of hospitality and respect that should define your platform and the tourism industry at large. Instead of experiencing the warmth of a welcoming host, my wife and I were met with hostility, intimidation, and gross violations of our dignity. I urge Booking.

• Markiewicz (10/5): - Fenomenalna miejscówka :) 150m od granicy przy głównym deptaku Ledra. Apartament komfortowy, dobrze wyposażony, komfortowa łazienka i wc i bardzo wygodny materac. Dla niektórych problemem może być łóżko, na które trzeba wejść po metalowych schodkach, bo jest pod sufitem..dla mnie nie stanowiło to problemu, jednak na dłuższy pobyt może to być uciążliwe. Pod domem znajdują się knajpy z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem i bardzo blisko są sklepy, w których można znaleźć nawet polskie produkty. 350m od apartamentu mieści się dworzec autobusowy, z którego można dojechać do Pafos lub Larnaki, stąd też jeżdżą miejskie autobusy po greckiej części Nikozji. Polecam to miejsce!!! brak uwag

Shower was excellent - the best I experienced in Cyprus. I also enjoyed having my breakafasts at the sunny balcony. Very good communication and I am glad I chose this apartment for my stay in Nicosia. Thanks, will recommend to my friends and family. Depending on perspective this can be either negative or positive. Noise at night from the street below the balcony. It was a positive thing too as I also enjoyed the restaurants and ”their noise”, but this may be something that is good to know if you would want to go bed early. The live music lasted until about midnight during my stay.

• Chris (9/5): - Interesting layout in a small area. The loft bed is pretty easy to get into but watch your head on the ceiling. It was very clean. Water pressure and temperature were good. Nice balcony. The location is right on the main pedestrian street. It is loud because of the bar across the street, but if you put on the AC it drowns out a lot of the noise. It is quiet after midnight.
• Kerstin (10/5): Zentral und absolut empfehlenswert - Die Schlüsselübergabe war dank einer sehr guten Beschreibung optimal. Der Vermieter antwortete bei Fragen schnell und war sehr freundlich. Die Lage mit dem Balkon zur Ledrastraße war perfekt umgeben von Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auch die Nähe zur Grenze in den türkischen Teil der Insel war super. Das Apartment 9 A war gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Das Bett war angenehm hart. Besonders nett war, dass wir unser Gepäck nach dem Checkout noch etwas im Apartment lassen durften, um die Zeit zum Abflug zu überbrücken. Es war ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.

• Peter (10/5): Super fijn appartement van alle gemakken voorzien, op 50mtr afstand Ledra Street (grensovergang) - Mooie schone kamer voorzien van alle faciliteiten, midden in het centrum van Nicosia op werkelijk een steenworp afstand van de grensovergang (Ledra street) naar het Turkse deel van Cyprus. De ingang / deur was zeer moeilijk te vinden. Met hulp van de host en wat heen en weer bellen is het uiteindelijk gelukt. Het was niet zo goed omschreven. Mocht je dit gaan boeken schrijf dan op: Ga met je rug naar de grenspost van Ledra street toe staan. Je staat nu in een straat met links en rechts restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Loop deze straat ongeveer 50 meter rechtdoor tot je aan de straat komt. ga hier rechtsaf en blijf aan de rechterkant na ca 20 meter vind je de deur/ingang en sleutelkastje. (precies tegenover het cafe/restaurantje/Pub)

• Lisette (10/5): Prachtig gerenoveerd appartement in de levendige Ledrastreet - Een stijlvol gerenoveerd en zeer ruim appartement, midden in de oude stad. Het adres konden we niet direct vinden in Google Maps. Het is de 1e blauwe deur (rechterkant) in het laatste linker zijstraatje van Ledrastreet voor de grensovergang voor voetgangers naar Noord Cyprus.

• Georgios (9/5): perfect place to stay for urban lovers - for those who want to stay in the centre of Nicosia without needing to use taxi or buses for moving around and having fun day and night this is a perfect, comfortable and nice place to stay. it's located in the centre heart of Nicosia's old city. this advantage of having dozens of restaurants and cafés around you can also be a disadvantage for those you want to go to sleep quite early due to loud music and people coming from neighborhood pubs. parking space for cars is quite limited and expensive there.

• Laura (8/5): Great location for a short stay in Nicosia - The apartment is small but still spacious and with all necessary amenities. Very clean and it has everything you need. Great communication and instructions to find all the needed information. For hot water you need to press a button and wait 1 hour so if you are in a rush or arrive late it’s not the best.
