Guest Reviews
- Rob (6/5): A fairly basic property rental. Lacking luxury but rustic and quite pretty. - We liked the quiet location.
Shower was fine.
Good hot water and plentiful
Great coffee machine.
Nice TV which was great late evening watching a Netflix film! Uncomfortable sofas/seating so difficult to relax in the evenings when watching a film.etc.
The quality of kitchen items
not good, and only 1 large mug!! No oven.
Bed was advertised as large double, but we found it to be on the small side. We are used to a very large bed at home but have never had a bed so small on holiday before. Also, the bedding was too small for it.
Rodents were evident, but it's in the woods, and there are not many cats around here.
- Aimee (10/5): serene - Paramonas is a remote little beach town and this is a perfect cottage walking distance from the beach. There is a 5 minute walk between the vineyard/farms to get to the house, and its serene in its own grove of olive trees. The house is modern, with lots of amenities and with a remarkably well-stocked kitchen (spices, a few teas), books, games and holiday gear. Our host warned us of mosquitos, and the home was well stocked with electric and spray deterrents, but they were not a problem while we were there. There were lots of tiny, windy roads to get to the town and home - which is not surprising for Corfu, but worth understanding in advance - stock up on groceries before you go because getting to the closest town is a slightly intimidating drive. Also I recommend a second chopping board for the kitchen.
All in all- there was nothing really to dislike.
