- Rory (10/5): - Lovely family guest house, attentive and caring people with best intentions for your stay. Great tasty dinner and breakfast too. All so authentic

- Bernabei (10/5): - The stay was really pleasant. The rooms are big enough and are equipped with fans and double beds. The guesthouse is literally on the beach, and the main surf spots are nearby. Also diving and snorkelling sites are nearby. Lalitha’s food is amazing, had really good breakfast with roti’s and fruits as well as dinners with fish rice and curry. Dilini was really helpful in making my stay comfortable and she’s been always available for suggestions about what to do in Hikkaduwa. Scooters’ rent is also available. I suggest this guesthouse to everyone!

- Johanna (3/5): Schlechtestes Hostel bei meiner Reise - Nichts Es wundert mich wie dieses Homestay zu so einer guten Bewertung gelangen kann. Mir wurde nicht mitgeteilt dass es kein fließendes Wasser gibt beim Check in. Das habe ich erst erfahren als ich duschen wollte. Es gab außerhalb eine Not Dusche. Das Zimmer ist feucht, hat keine Fenster und es müffelt total darin. Als mir im Zimmer und im Badezimmer Kakerlaken über den Weg gelaufen sind war ich sicher ich werde die zweite Nacht nicht bleiben und sofort am Morgen weiter ziehen. Das Essen ist landestypisch aber total überteuert. Auch das Zimmer viel zu teuer Nicht zu empfehlen :(

- Giuliana (10/5): - I loved the family life, the kindness and generosity and humbleness I found in the host and hostess. The location on the beach so romantic at night with all the lights yet a little down from the hectic hikkaduwa village, and cleaner. Before leaving the hostes prepared a meal in a banana leaf all wrapped up and delicious for my journey and didn't even charge me. I loved helping pulling the fishing nets in in the morning with the host. Just great and genuinely Shrilankan! Plus great curries and noodles! Totally recommend

- Maria (10/5): Nice & clean homestay by the beach :) - Súper nice homestay on the beach (no view but a 1 min walk through the backyard). Súper comfy and clean Room. They also can cook homemade srilankan food for you upon request/extra payment. Very very tasty!!!! The rooms can get very warm, they have only fan (no AC) so if you suffer from heat IT's not recommended. They also offer motorbike rental. Bus stop just on the corner.

I booked for a night and when I arrived there the owner had already given it out to someone else. Not happy after a three hour drive to get there. Unprofessional service

- Almaty (10/5): Exceptional - Hi. It was rainy weather and we often spent time in the homestay where it was always clean and our bed linen was changed often. The owners of the house were always kind and attentive to us. They offered us tea for free, although this was not included in the terms of our stay. If we asked to cook something, the hostess Lolita always cooked delicious food for us for a small fee. Once I caught a fish and asked Lolita to cook it. The taste was amazing, because Lolita cooked this fish in coconut oil, which she made with her own hands. Pinaduwa is a warrior man and we could feel safe with such a person. However, he always treated us kindly and politely. Children are two girls, Paritra and Dilini. When I was sickl, Dilini offered to help me call a doctor and help with translation if necessary. Paritra was always cheerful and told me where things were. She also made sure that there were't any mosquitoes in the house. She brought and laid out mosquito repellents everywhere. We tried so hard to be generous and polite to all members of this family, as well as to the cute chipmunks who came running to the feeder in the back yard of the house. Because of the kindness and care of the owners and their children, our two-week vacation turned out to be very safe and comfortable. We managed to feel at home.

- Sudha (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed at the homestay with our two year old toddler, who thankfully slept well on the bed at the homestay. The family are incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.
