The bathroom can upgrade amenities such as place to hang towel, heater and toilet didn't have automatic flusher, heater. The wall plaster was also hanging when we arrived. - Aida (7/5): - The place is very near to 2 stations and both easy access. The convenient store is also very nearby. I really like the environment and surroundings. Definitely will stay here again I guess i didn't read through or not sure how, we ended up on the 4th floor without a lift, with 4 of us cramped in and 10 luggages into a small cottage. Not blaming anyone. Nice place to stay. Next time, I will book the one on the 1st floor

We originally booked a room for 5 persons, however when asking for an additional set of bedding, as only 3 were provided, this was not possible. The room also had yellow stains on the floor.

The staff response so fast and very accommodating with out question. The neighborhood is quite. Location is ok. I think it would be having no elevator. Though we stayed in the first floor and wouldnt be needing one, it might just be a troublesome in case we were assigned on higher floor.

From the train station to the accommodation far about 350 m and will pass restaurants and 7-Eleven. The accommodation does not have an elevator. If you stay in a room of four person and have large luggage, it will be inconvenient. And there is no luggage storage service before check-in and after check-out.

Always received timely responses when questions asked through booking messages Its self checked in apartment, so no luggage forwarding, pick up and storage. It is still 500-600 mtr far from Railway station, so for us it was very far. There is no lift in the property, it was pain to climb the stairs with heavy luggage. Rail line goes close to property, could hear the train passing everytime. There was weird smell in the toilet, my kids refused to use the toilets and everyday we used toilets at railway stations or shopping centres. There was dust in quilt and mattresses. We all developed allergies due to that.
- Sabirin (1/5): Bad - Walking from the train station to the apartment, the area was already sketchy and giving us bad vibes. Very run down area, vending machines smashed into, and people hak -tooeying on the street. Police patrolling the area too so I don’t know what that says about the area. The apartment itself, no elevators so we were forced to use the stairs with our luggage. It was raining and slippery and metal - big safety hazard. Inside looked okay, but open closer inspection there a massive hole in the ceiling above the toilet, something around the washing machine STANK, random yellow stains on the floor a weird black heavy box, and a random beer can left on the bedside table. Did not stay long enough to investigate any of this. Terrible 0/10 would not recommend. A refund is needed.

- Danna (10/5): Book it! Amazing place. - Loved that it had a washing machine! I packed light so it was great that I was able to wash my clothes. No dryer of course but that wasn't an issue. But if you definitely need a dryer, there is a laundry like 2 min walk away. Place was able to fit 5 people. Very nice and cozy place. Quiet neighborhood as well. The workers were great! I didn't read the check in details well and forgot to give Nestay all of our passport photos and was worried I wouldn't be able to check in. However, when I called, they reassured me I could upload it when I could and that I could still check in. I was worried my friends and I would have to stay at a manga Cafe but thankfully not. Workers spoke great English so not to worry my English-speaking friends. FYI there are no elevators so just keep that in mind. Otherwise I Loved the place.

- Vanessa (5/5): Passable, a bit run down but good size for two adult travellers and two big bags. Beds were comfortable and a lot of ame - Good location, between the Marunouchi subway line and the JR Yamanote line, one stop away from Ikebukuro and 20 mins from Akihabara. A little run down, peeling wallpaper in the toilet, and mould spots on the bottom of the curtains. Also very cold in winter, had the AC running all night while we slept otherwise it was too cold. Walls are very thin, we unfortunately had noisy upstairs neighbours who would come home after midnight with their kids yelling as they went up the stairs and we could hear it clearly as if we were sitting outside. As some other reviews mentioned, occasionally the drains smell, so had to stick the plug in and spray with room spray.

- Angela (7/5): Gorgeous local area, with great food and st decorations - Perfect for our stay, little bit small, great location to train station, gorgeous local suburb with fairy lights, potted gardens. Beds super comfy, bathroom and kitchen covered all basics. The drain area was a little smelly but sometimes normal fir tokyo area.

The room is clean and tidy also got a nail clippers and a first aid which I never see anywhere. Great communication in English. It's hard with no lift when you need to carry all your luggage to upstairs especially with kids. It's a bit hard to for a self-check in with no one can help there. I helped an American family to get their room key after a long trip and more than half a hour struggle to get into the room.

- Rohini (8/5): Great location. - Close to JR Otsuka station and walkable distance to Shin- Otsuka station. Facilities were good. Very responsive host. We are family of four. We all are tall so felt bit uncomfortable with the ceiling and the bathroom initially but got used to it.

And I think I booked for 203 on the website but I was given 102, it was not a minus though because there was no need to carry the suitcases through all those stairs. There is no elevator. It’s a studio and for those who come with group and require quiet sleeping environment, it might not be the most ideal choice. The washing machine is near the bed so you may not want to use it when others are asleep. The bathroom and the shower room are separate and with doors for both, but the sink is in the middle of them two with only a curtain to separate from the room, I was woken up by the noise of the sink when my group was using it in the morning.

- Chun (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. The house was filled with the smell from the sewage pipe outside that we couldn't get rid of. Otherwise, it was good value for money. Cheap with basic facilities of an apartment.

- Atikah (8/5): Worth your penny, pleasant stay! - Overall, it was a pleasant stay here. The walking distance is about 15 mins from the Otsuka Station, plus points because it is on JR line. Great location for the budget travelling with big group. The room are spacious compared with other rooms in Japan. There are convenience store nearby on the way to the apartment. The communication with the host should be improved, we had a hard time to organize and throwing our rubbish when staying here, there are no clear instruction for rubbish disposals or to request/checking anything with the host.

- Julia (8/5): Great stay, happy I booked here. - Great location! Nice and quiet area. 6 minute walk to Otsuka station or 11 to Shin-Otsuka Station (which we only used once to go to Disneyland). Mybasket convenience store just around the corner, plus many others around a few minutes further. Near the station there is Denny's & Royal Host if you feel like a western style/ booth family restaurant breakfast, plus a nice shop to get coffee from too (think it was called W coffee or something). The room itself is fine, for those from Australia it feels like a bit like staying in a cabin. Sofa bed was easy to use and comfy. Good pillows. Washing machine was easy enough to use, although just note it says dry but it doesn't, it's just to dry a bit more than the rinse & spin does. We had a comfortable stay here. :) There is a sewer smell that starts to rise from the shower, but we found if you put the plug in when not in use it's fine. It would be good if there was at least oil & salt and pepper. Could use another long pole thing on the balcony to hang a few more clothes
- Hee-lian (9/5): A gem of a location and it will not disappoint! - The studio apartment was 7-8 minutes walk from the Otsuka station. Otsuka was so conveniently located on the green Yamanote line that has the popular Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Tokyo suburbs. Around the Otsuka station, there are numerous restaurants and cafes that open till after 10.30pm One day after a baseball game at Tokyo Dome, we were able to enjoy a beer in one of these places before arriving home close to 12.30am. There was a great Convenient Store under a minute walk. I love this location and this apartment This residential area felt safe and it was quiet There wasn;t enough hanging space The floor space was just enough for possibly two large luggage making the studio quite tight The great location makes up for these
