• Ahmed (3/5): not meeting our expectations. The host was unfriendly. - The location is very close to the station. The studio is not as good as shown in the pictures. Also the host requested us to pay extra £20 cash on arrival and refused to give us the keys without the payment.
• Scott (9/5): Superb - Host was responsive and very helpful. Facilities were as I expected and worked well. Heating was good and the bed was comfortable. The room was.perfect for the purposes of my trip and very close to the train station. The bed, although comfortable, was a bit noisey and the furniture could do with a little spruce up. That said, everything was useable and these points did not detract from the stay at.all.

I was pondering bringing my collection of small bottles of shampoo and shower gels but didn't as I thought they would be provided. I usually stay at the IBIS and all these things are available for a budget hotel.

• Susan (7/5): Good - Very good location. Close to train station and shopping. Short walk to city centre. Very easy to get around. Very helpful and pleasant host, Dan. He met me at the accommodation and showed me how things worked and the followed up to see if I was okay. Heating was very efficient. Would probably stay again if in the area. Bathroom needs some hooks for clothes and some shelves around the tap area. Bit difficult to drape things around the toilet and on the very small space around the tap. Could also do with a shelf in the shower. Bathroom door needs painting or something. The room is pleasantly decorated with nice pictures but the bathroom door looks as though it has been battered and takes away from the accommodation. Also landlord should do something about the view from the window. It looks like old mattresses have been dumped there.

• Andrew (6/5): It fulfilled its purpose and was reasonably priced, but a little disappointing overall - A very warm welcome, excellent parking, and very close to the railway station Sorry, but it didn’t match up with previous reviews that I’d read, which was disappointing. This is going to read like a whole heap of criticism, which it doesn’t deserve, but........ There’s nowhere to place any cosmetics in the shower room or the shower itself - nothing. The kitchen sink plug didn’t seal and there was no bowl, so washing up was challenging. The double bed filled the room, which was unimaginatively laid out and could have easily provided far more space. The only clothes storage was a free-standing hanging rail. If the TV came with Freeview, I was never able to locate it! However, the worst aspect was the noise. It’s an older property that’s been converted - you could hear residents moving around, banging doors, and talking at all hours of the night.

Around the corner from the rail station with easy access by car to main thoroughfares of Coventry. Very quiet in the accommodation during my 5 day visit. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Dan was absolutely fantastic. Always replied promptly to any of my queries. Over all a fantastic experience and at an unbeatable price. Nothing.

The room was spacious and clean with fitted kitchen where you can cook a dinner which I quite liked. The host was very nice, friendly, and flexible with check-in and check-out.
