Amelia (8/5): - The room was well located a few blocks from the Zocalo, but it was in a slightly less frequented area with fewer shops than I would have liked. The checkin desk is on the second floor rather than the entrance/first floor, so it's a little confusing. The proprietors used a useful WhatsApp platform that allowed for Spanish/English translation, but they did not speak much English so communication could have been smoother. The hosts were friendly and hardworking, helping whenever they could. The building was clean and functional, and the rooms were nicely furnished, but the central part of the building was fairly basic with no decorations.

Miguel Angel (10/5): - Si lo que buscas en un hotel limpio es muy buena opción. Las cama es muy cómoda y tiene aire acondicionado. El personal es muy amable en todo momento. El Hotel queda muy cerca del zócalo y está en una zona tranquila. La limpieza muy bien !
Oscar (10/5): - Quedé fascinado con mi habitación. El hotel es tranquilo e ideal si vienes por trabajo. No tuve inconvenientes a la hora de facturar como en otros hoteles. La habitación amplia y con un diseño muy bonito. En la planta baja del hotel tiene una zona donde puedes tomar café, pan tostado y hacer uso del refrigerador sin ningún costo. El staff muy amables y gentiles. Volvería a regresar!!!

Mark (2/5): - The hotel itself looks like a converted office building. There’s no soundproofing at all. A lot of echo. A family lives there so you’re going to hear everything through the thin windows and doors. Do not book this hotel for rest or relaxation. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi was very fast! Bed was average; not comfortable or uncomfortable. Water pressure in the shower was weak. It will double your shower time. One time there was no cold water, just hot. Air conditioner was nice to have.

Manuel (4/5): Pésima opción, ahorren su mala experiencia - Para empezar no quisieron la reserva de Hoteles.com me pidieron el efectivo o transferencia. No son suites es una vecindad donde se escucha todo. Apenas y tienen agua, la zona del hotel no es buena, tú tienes que avisar los servicios de la habitación como la limpieza, toallas, etc. en fin demasiado caro para lo que es.

Francisco (10/5): - All I can say is you will not find a better place to stay in Oaxaca City. Everything about this hotel makes it absolutely worth staying at. Easy check in process, great communication from the staff at all times, perfect location about 7 minute walk to the center of everything and impeccable service. The staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is a good one. And the price is right for such a nice, clean and well run hotel. Very quiet away from all the movement and noise of El Centro. The only small hiccup at check in was an extra 5% charge for using a credit card which isn’t shown in the hotels.com listing. However, this small issue that only cost maybe an extra 50 pesos (approximately $3 USD) wasn’t something that would stop me from going back. In fact whenever I do return to Oaxaca City, I won’t even bother looking anywhere else as this is definitely the best bang for your buck you will find anywhere. One of the best stays I’ve ever had in Mexico. Stay here… You won’t regret it.

Del exterior no se puede decir que hay un pequeño hotel familiar. Las personas que trabajan ahí son sumamente simpáticas y con ganas de darte el mejor trato posible. La situación geográfica es perfecta, a solo 3 o 4 cuadras del centro.

(we travel with kids) but the location is very good average. The street become quiet at night, the hotel it self is noisy on the inside the choice of door makes all the guest hear all the guest. Very echo and noisy, every night primor coming after midnight ringing the Bell. It is not optimal for family who sleep early and wake up early. The chair down the first floor are very noisy. The shower ceramic could be cleaned. A little paint in the room and wall crack fixing would be more appropriate according to price.

Aunque llegué desde antes, me dejaron pagar mi habitación desde las 8 am y aunque el check-in era a las 2pm me dieron facilidades para dejar mi equipaje. Los cuartos son bonitos y modernos, la calle es tranquila y la sentí segura. Definitivamente regresaré en futuras visitas a Oaxaca.

The property's location was excellent—close to the Zocolo, with good neighbours and 24/7 security. The staff aimed to please us, so we would stay there again.
Paul (8/5): Oaxaca on a budget - This is a good, clean and friendly small spot geared for more casual, thrift travelers, including Mexican nationals. The location is good, and all was fine, except for the noise level of other guests with very loud tv's, radio, etc. until 11:00 pm with no monitoring by the staff. Small rooms, but economical, clean and decently comfortable for a short stay.

The room we reserved called “Design” room with just full/queen bed and adequate lightings and the bathroom is spacious. The room is well maintained and clean. I would recommend this to anyone who’s coming to Oaxaca and the hotel is just short distance walk to the Centro. I feel safer walking on the streets in the evenings on way back to the room.

Fernando (8/5): OK stay - Great stay although there was a weird smell coming out of the drains in the bathroom. They fixed it but it came back, it seems to be an issue around Oaxaca, not particularly of the hotel. The water flow from the shower is very weak, if you have to wash your hair, that may take you a while. Other than that, comfortable stay.
MAURICIO (8/5): Mala relación calidad precio - La habitación es muy limpia y algunos muebles cómodos y funcionales, las camas, escritorio y silla de trabajo muy bien. El baño un desastre, limpio pero no existe espacio en el lavabo para colocar lo necesario, no hay amenidades , el jabón de manos líquido diluido, no hay ganchos para colgar toallas ni toalleros, el tapete es una jerga, la regadera altísima y ya tapada, el rollo de papel higiénico sin despachador… en fin, muy caro para lo que ofrece
Esther (8/5): - This suite looks exactly like the photos, but without a window (except a tiny one in the bathroom for air flow). It is clean and tidy, super convenient as a location (max 10 minutes walk to the public square). Another thing that might concern safety is there's a door and a gate (not really shown in the photos) for each room, the room door is not lockable, only the gate is. But you can easily put a hand through the gate to open the door, so if you are concerned with privacy and safety, this is not recommended. There's another main gate at the property, which is open during the day and close at night. The room is not sound-proof, you can easily hear staff cleaning at 11pm with the lights on if you stay on the ground floor, or people talking in the area just outside your room. The window blind does not offer complete privacy to my liking as you can see gaps from certain angle from the outside, which is the common area. I would not call them a hotel, as the amenities are limited and the communal area is just a space with free water and some cups and chairs. All in all, the staff are kind and nice, they offer recommendations and can arrange tours for you. However, they don't speak english as mentioned on the page description. The water pressure is weak in the shower, like the others said but it is common in Mexico.

Dalirys (10/5): - Todo excelente con mi estancia, súper recomendable y súper lindo los chicos de cielo zapoteco que me dejaron más tiempo en mi habitación ya que mi vuelo salía hasta la noche, sin duda volveré!
Jose Ivan (8/5): - La estancia fue muy buena, solo unos detalles a mejorar que las habitaciones no tienen aislante de ruido y todo se escucha, y el timbre de la entrada es muy ruidoso, del resto excelente opción.

Carlos (6/5): - Property wasn't finished and i feel prices were too height for the conditions of the hotel I couldn't lock the door from inside The main door locking mechanism wasn't working and the security door lock can only be lock from outside . If the room locked from outside i was trap and in case of emergency or earthquake it was going to be impossible to exit . Drainage at shower was poor since water was going to opposite side of drainage . Large sliding doors did not have screen to prevent mosquitos to get inside the room
