• Mohammed (1/5): I book for 2day and I paid for 2days but removed me in 1day very bed experience no giving break fast - Staff atlist good and staff also seen what I booked but helpless coz owner call them and refused to give us breakfast I go in town for breakfast with my kid's if owner is Muslim can't do like this but it's okay no more word I have Owner behavior not good and I booked there coz hotel name is Muslim but it's really not Muslim behave it's like cheat with me. And if u booking in small lodges there also u get some breakfast but here not even given breakfast very very bed 😔 and I mentioned my family details before booked but this owner is cheat us

Sa situation au cœur du village rend l’expérience authentique et dépaysante. Les habitants sont souriants, respectueux et accueillants, ce qui a largement contribué à la qualité de notre séjour. Mention spéciale pour les deux piscines privatives sans vis-à-vis, très appréciables, ainsi que pour la gentillesse et la disponibilité de toute l’équipe. • Inès (10/5): Je recommande cet endroit, et je reviendrais sans hésiter ! - L’endroit était magnifique, le petit dej copieux et le staff toujours là pour nous aider. La plage est à quelques minutes à pieds, plein de petits restaurants autour et surtout la piscine que nous pouvons privatiser était un vrai plus. Jambiani est beaucoup plus préservé que le nord et c’est exactement ce que nous recherchions avec mon mari. Il y a également de nombreuses choses à faire et voir autour. N’hésitez pas à vous aventurer dans le village. Merci à zana et happiness qui ont rendu ce séjour encore meilleur. La literie était peu confortable, mais c’est propre à chacun

Lo staff è stato estremamente gentile, disponibile e accogliente, la loro attenzione e cortesia ci hanno davvero conquistati. Avremmo voluto rimanere più giorni, ma torneremo sicuramente in futuro perché l’esperienza è stata meravigliosa. È uno dei pochi posti che offre una piscina privata, ideale per chi cerca privacy e perfetto anche per coppie musulmane. È stato tutto impeccabile, dalla struttura alla colazione, che era davvero molto buona. Ringraziamo di cuore tutto lo staff per la straordinaria ospitalità e gentilezza. Torneremo sicuramente.

The staff is very kind and does an amazing job making you feel comfortable and taking care of anything you may need. The rooms are very large and daily cleaned and give you a nice feel of privacy. We also really liked the private pool system, where you pick a two hour period to have the pool on your own each day.

Kahjuks ei näinud kuskil broneerides infot, et hotellil pole avalikku basseini, vaid 2 erabasseini, mida pidid eelnevalt broneerima, muidu kasutada ei saanud. Üksluine hommikusöök, kehv netiühendus ja pidevalt elektrikatkestused (aga see ilmselt ei sõltu hotellist), kuid õnneks oli neil varugeneraator, mis kohe tööle pandi.
• Mahira (10/5): Un vrai coup de cœur lors de notre voyage à Zanzibar - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Tasneem. Le personnel est vraiment adorable et extrêmement serviable. La suite était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. L’établissement dispose également de deux jolies piscines privatives et se situe à seulement quelques minutes à pied de la plage de Jambiani. Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

For longer stays, especially for larger families like mine, having a microwave and in-room laundry facilities would be very convenient. Relying on paid laundry services can be costly, so these amenities would greatly improve the overall experience.

• Ilias (10/5): Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in toller Lage mit herzlichem Personal und hohem Wohlfühlfaktor. - Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie ist sehr gut gelegen, nah am Strand und in der Nähe vieler Restaurants. Alles war sehr sauber und die Wohnung war sogar sehr groß. Meiner Meinung nach könnte man das Zimmer bzw. die Wohnung noch einmal durch zwei teilen, da sie wirklich viel Platz bietet. Die Reservierung des Pools hat sehr gut geklappt. Das Personal war eines der absoluten Highlights der Unterkunft – ein eingespieltes Team, bei dem man sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohlgefühlt hat. Vielen Dank nochmals für alles.

• Adi (10/5): I would recommend the place for every couple that wants comfort and privacy - We had a wonderful experience at the Tasneem Suites. The staff was so friendly and kind. We loved that we could use the pool every day and even more than three hours due to less visitors at that time we visited. The breakfast was so delicious and the staff was always in a good mood and provided us with a clean room and clean towels after we used the pool. 🤗 Not much, only downside was the location, but it’s still close to the beach!

• Janetta (8/5): Very pleasant - We stayed for 7 nights as a family of 6 in the Deluxe Family Room. It was great because it was incredibly spacious and quite clean, which is exactly what we needed. They also provide extra towels to use for the pool, which was useful. The place is very serene and we loved the greenery and the kids really loved the pool. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - appreciation goes to Zena and Samuel! It is just about a 6-minute walk to the beach - the beach is gorgeous during high-tide which is morning until about 2-3pm. The options for breakfast are very limited; it was the same every day during our stay. Also note that there is no restaurant/bar on site, which I did not realize when booking.

• Fatime (10/5): Tasneem Luxury Suites in Zanzibar provided an exceptional stay with immaculate accommodations, outstanding service from - Our recent stay at Tasneem Luxury Suites in Zanzibar was nothing short of spectacular. We had the pleasure of staying in the Family Apartment (4 Adult women) and from the moment we arrived, we were utterly impressed by the attention to detail and the exceptional level of care provided by the hotel staff. The apartment was impeccably cleaned and refreshed daily, with the bed linens transformed into beautiful, creative arrangements each morning. The same level of care extended to the towels, with both bath and beach towels replaced every day, that we greatly appreciated. The „livingroom“ and kitchen were much appreciated to spend the evenings together as a travelling group, also the huge balcony / terrace area where every one of us had the space and opportunity to rest for themselves. The staff at Tasneem Luxury Suites truly made our experience unforgettable. Zena and Happy, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Their warm greetings and genuine hospitality touched our hearts and made us feel like cherished guests. The breakfast was an absolute delight – Every morning, we were treated to a fresh and flavorful Fruitsalad and freshly selfmade juice. Also we loved the jam, the excellent jam was our favourite, THANK YOU!!!! We would also like to commend the security team at the hotel gate, especially Max and another uniformed gentleman whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch. They were not only professional but also incredibly kind and helpful. Max, in particular, went out of his way to guide us to the village shop, the beach, and the fruit market. His friendliness and willingness to assist added a personal touch to our stay. Although we didn’t use the pool during our visit – we couldn’t help but admire the pool area. Everytime we passed by, leaving or returning to the hotel, we gave it a look. It was meticulously cleaned and maintained, resembling a spa oasis. -
• Safia (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful and peaceful gem in Jambiani. Amazing architecture, surrounded by a well kept garden with a clean apartment and relaxing private pools to cool off after a hot beach day. The apartment includes a little kitchen equipped with basic dishes, utensils, stove and fridge. You start your day with a scrumptious well prepared breakfast prepared by Zena and Happy. Mr Alex(the owner) was always onsite with a warm welcoming vibe. He checked up on guests and offered friendly advise. We felt very safe on the property as it had a 24 hour security guards Maximilion and Samual. Both guards always greeted with a smile. As a hijab muslim couple we found this property perfect for enjoying the amenities while still being able to maintain hijab. We pray that Mr Alex and his team grow from strength to strength. N/A
• Habib (7/5): All in all, it was great stay, and it was made possible by Alex himself and of course booking.com - Breakfast was perfect.... thank you. Not too many choices but an adequate menu for breakfast. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and helpful as he was when we visited the first time; always trying to help by going out of his way. I liked the accommodation that is why I have visited the second time with even a bigger group of people. The private Pool facility is excellent as we Muslims look for these things in order to keep hijab for our ladies! Wi-Fi was free and everyone enjoyed that. This time unfortunately there was no food available during our stay except breakfast. The first time we visited there was a great small size menu for lunch and dinner which saved us a lot of time and effort to get meals. I think it would be a great idea to mention while booking if these facilities are available or have been cancelled, especially for those visiting the second time. I have counted the number of hours we have spent looking for food or waiting for food deliveries for 9 people...and it roughly amounted to 5-6 hours out of the time we could have spent relaxing or at the beach or doing some other activity; keeping in mind that we booked for 3 nights knowing that we could order meals from the locally available menu at lunch or dinner times. It is something I have to address because I know what i went through and how much I spent to find meals! No offence just a true and honest rating.

• Nina (7/5): A wonderful hotel for a family - We enjoyed the private pool as a family, and we appreciated the friendly staff and the breakfast, as well as the nearby mosque for prayers. The requested Early check-out at 11 AM on Fridays can be difficult for families , especially when their husbands leave for Friday prayers. I had to stay with the kids in the pool and lobby instead of being in the room… Since Friday is a special day, it would be appreciated if late check-out at 2 PM could be accommodated in the Islamic suites, particularly when hotel rooms are not fully booked.
• Sabrine (10/5): The hidden gem of Jambiani - I stayed at this hotel with my husband and two sons (2 year old and 2 month old) for a week and I wish we had booked a longer stay. We had such a great time here because of the following points: - there are two pools that you can reserve for a few hours per day. The pools are clean and fully private (no one can see you). - the windows are mirrored so other guests can’t look into your room when your curtains are open. - all the rooms are airconditioned and clean. - the hotel is new and designed Marrakech-style. It gives a nice oriental feel to it. - tasty breakfast with fruits, juices, pancakes, eggs, french toast. All freshly made. - there are many restaurants nearby and the quiet beach is just a few minutes walk away. - the service is great! The owner has a big heart and the staff members are so friendly. We felt like home. Overall, don’t skip this place if you’re planning your stay in Jambiani! We will definitely come back in the future. Nothing.

• Sümeyye (10/5): Had a wonderful time at Tasneem 🤩 - Me and my friend had such a wonderful experience here. There is a private pool you can book for 3 hours everyday for free. It is perfect for hijabis because we care very much about privacy. You can swim and sunbath without the need for a burkini 😍 The staff is also sooo nice. Zeina, Maxmilian, Samuel and Happy are amazing, always friendly and helpful. If there is even a tiny “problem” they help you immidiately and fix it There is a 250 meter path leading up from the main road to the hotel entrance, which is very rocky so make sure that when you arrive with the taxi they drive you to the main entrance otherwise it can be difficult to walk there with your luggage. This is not directly related to the hotel but it would be perfect if it could get fixed

No lunch/dinner/snack options. If your hungry at any other time, have to take a 10-15min walk to the beach to find eateries/restaurants. Check in is at 2pm: we arrived at 1.15pm(45min early). Was told to pay an extra 20usd for early check in even though place wasnt full.
• Yasmin (10/5): Best hotel experience you will get in Zanzibar, and possibly around the world. - Where do I begin.. truly an amazing hotel. Everything is so well-thought out and beautiful. The Moroccan style architecture was spectacular, and the pools… we ended up preferring them to the beach! What needs a real shout out is the wonderful staff.. Zena and Happy were just an absolute delight. They looked out for us, helped us ordering Bajaji’s everyday, prepared the most delicious breakfast everyday and made us feel so welcome. We stayed here on our honeymoon and could not fault the place at all. The double reflective windows on the balconies meant total comfort in the rooms, and the pool that you can book privately was just heavenly. We would absolutely come back just to stay in this hotel, and bring our families next time!
• Fatna (2/5): Very poor - The hotel profile's pictures aren't the same as the actual. The hotel has no space the pools are dirty inside the rooms the bathrooms aren't finished properly 😑 the stairs are are narrow which is not safe in the event of emergency. There are no emergency exit no fire extinguisher 🙆‍♀️ one of the rooms was no ventilation could not able to open the window . We asked the staff to open they said they are not allowed to do so 😳🙄 staff are good 👍🏾 👌🏿 👏🏿 😄 very helpful but they were few of them doing all the departments work I mean they are the same ones who doing cleaning, catering ,chamber maid,receptionist security guards they were just changing uniforms when they switched the job. There is no official paperwork no computer no headed paper for official use 😳🙄no buffet 😉 the breakfast is not exiting 😏. The drinking water bottle were not sealed . They pour in a wine bottle😳 that was so shocked 😲 and it's only one wine bottle poured in drinking water in a room with 5 people 😳. I have never experienced this kind of service in my intire life of travelling to places 😑. I didn't like the environment of the outside of the property not what I saw in the profile pictures

• Abdellah (10/5): The concept of the hotel is unique, and we took advantage of it to get a very restful stay. - The breakfast was a delight. The staff were very nice and professional. The location was very interesting and we could walk to the beach and at the same time we met the locals who were wonderful people and we got used to them and chatted with them on several occasions. We visited the local schools and had discussions with the staff and the students. It was the hilight of ou stay. From the hotel we could use a driver to take us to various locations on the island on a daily basis. It was one of the best vacation we had for a long time.

• Kim (10/5): Peaceful paradise. - Tasneem is paradise here on earth. I am so impressed with this hotel's concept and how beautifully it is executed. The pools and the garden are absolutely gorgeous... serene, private, lush, and beautifully kept. The staff are warm and professional, I can't say enough about how welcoming, accommodating, and kind they were to our family. The chef is really good - breakfast and dinner were wonderful. We were there in the hot season, and the air conditioning in our room was strong. We appreciated the little kitchenette with its fridge, gas burners, tea kettle, and good stock of dishes. This hotel management really understands what helps to make a vacation comfortable and took care to tend to every detail. Our family was totally charmed by Tasneem, and we hope to return as soon as possible. Side note: We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a nearby restaurant in Paje called Mozaik. We highly recommend it for its beautiful ambiance and for the mezze platter. Not applicable!

• Andrea (10/5): Perfect to relax - much privacy in a luxury and spacious apartment and lots of amenities - We had the big apartment with three bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped, apartments were very clean, house cleaning took care every day. The balcony (I should say terrace as it is huge) and the rooms were furnished very nicely and there were mosquito nets for every bed. (However, when we were there in January there were only very few mosquitos). Furthermore, there were air cons and ceiling fans working well. Lots of different lights as well. Liked the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable, All rooms had big window fronts as well as light blocking curtains. Also the terrace had white curtains, which is nice if you want to have privacy while using the terrace. It is a small complex with 8 - 10 apartments, so it is never too busy. This is also the case if you want to book one of the two beautiful pools for you and your company for an hour or two. Was very relaxing.

• Oprinca (10/5): Our stay at Tasneem - We really liked this hotel. We were able to use the swimming pools privately anytime as there was always at least one free pool. The rooms were really clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice. The owner was fast to offer solutions to everything we needed. We liked that they offered towels for the pool, that you didn't need converters for the plugs, how the rooms were decorated and the green and reception areas. Attention, the hotel is not well indicated on Google maps, you have to take a left on a shabby road after Visitor's Inn (coming from Paje). The Romanians in us (who love bread) would have liked a piece of toast/bread/chapati with the eggs in the morning. And maybe different juices on different days for breakfast. But it's just minor things.
• Anass (10/5): Exceptional - The best stay in Zanzibar. Very muslim friendly and also if you are not muslim you can enjoy the private pool for yourself and your family for several hours every day. Also the rooms are very big and with a nice temperature. Very big balcony to chill in without people looking inside because of the curtain you can close if you want. And last but not least, everything is very clean.

We received a warm welcome from our manager, Cecilia, who remained consistently available for assistance. Throughout our stay, we found the hotel staff to be highly professional. The cleaning team deserves praise for their perfect work, creating a daily experience of entering a freshly prepared room with new linens and towels. The kitchen staff ensured that our mornings started off with a delicious and well-prepared breakfast. The hotel owners are really kind and warm people. Their commitment to creating a Muslim-friendly environment is definitely succeeded. Both the male and female pool areas provide a private and enjoyable experience. The apartments are not only aesthetically pleasing but also equipped with essential amenities, including ventilators and air conditioning, with daily cleaning services. It's worth noting that the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the beach, requiring passage through the village. However, the tranquil and beautiful beach in Jambiani, though less famous than Kendwa and Nungwi, captivated us as a hidden gem. In summary, our stay at Tasneem was great. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful experience at the beautiful beach of Jambiani.

• Tatiana (10/5): We liked the hotel and the area & prolonged our stay. - The hotel is completely new, very clean, beautiful garden & pools, tasty breakfast. The staff is very réactif and helpful. During our stay the owners of the hotel (family from France) were present, they are very kind and attentive to the needs of their guests. Nothing. Just there is a particular thing that the hotel is in Muslim concept so the pools are separate for men and women. The staff accepted us to use men pool together with our children. Also when we turn from the main road it became very difficult to drive even in 4x4. I hope it will be improved.
• Ruby (9/5): Lovely relaxing and friendly - This place was amazing, we had a lovely time. We were the only people there. The staff are lovely very helpful. The pool was amazing and food was delicious. The beds were a little bit hard for our liking but everything else was amazing.
• Charity (10/5): more than worth a look! - the property is simply beautiful. it is enclosed in a garden setting w lovely pools and amenities. it is very very new. it wasn’t actually officially open so there were certainly items to finalize or consider. I was more than comfortable. Not of the Muslim faith, I was made to feel very comfortable. the top tier staff: Osman, Shaffi and James were highly attentive, catering, and patient. the location in the village and in jambiani is one of my favorite. while it is a little ways from Jambiani Plaza it is near its own set of main shops and restaurants. it’s a quick jaunt to the beach. I felt pretty safe at night when I would try to grab a snack and the security staff is serious and observant. this isn’t applicable. I suggested to the staff that while the focus of the Muslim concept is clear, the most respected practices are not. I advised that it may help travelers to post a kind sign on the premises and to update the internet details. as the hotel was not full, the staff was quite flexible w me and/or family regarding the pools or styles of dress. it is helpful as a non Muslim traveler to speak with the staff in consideration of any prohibitions. I for one would return again and again 💚💚
• Anonymous (10/5): Perfection - a delightful hotel with fabulous staff - From the moment we arrived at the Tasmeen Hotel we were treated like royalty. The staff were extremely attentive, no request was too big. They were kind, and knowledgable on the local area and excursions. Our room was spotless and thoroughly cleaned every day. The decor was modern and gave us a great flavour of the local community. We were greeted with welcome drinks and a fresh fruit platter. The room had a well equipped kitchen, large, comfortable bedrooms and communal area and a huge balcony. The pool was beautiful and clean and was a lovely sun trap to tan in. Our breakfast included a delicious fruit salad and a hot breakfast. Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation was fast and strong. The hotel was a short walk from a white sand beach with plenty of restaurants. The local people surrounding the hotel were friendly. It was a pleasure to be the first guests at the Tasmeen Hotel and have had a delightful stay. We will definitely be recommending to friends. Thank you to all the staff (and of course, the hotel kitten Simba!)
