• MASASHI (7/5): 近所で殺人事件があったり、台風で予定短縮したりでドラマが多かった。 - とにかく立地！ 流石は元ラブホだけあって繁華街が近く、私のようなハードリピーターにはこの上なく便利！ 島の仲間達との交流にはピッタリの施設です。 ファミマ、農連市場、十八番街、港、美崎町全てへのアクセスが最高です。 ・滞在が1泊でも10泊でも清掃が有料で、シーツ交換も一切無し。　有料で清掃して貰えるのだが、清掃道具の貸出しセルフ交換対応など少し工夫して欲しい。 ・宿泊客に不良外国人が少なくない。　部屋で酔って大声で叫んだり、何やら大声でやり合ったり以前は無かった状況。 ・近所のコインランドリー治安がイマイチだ。　洗濯機も乾燥機も空いているののわざわざ他人の洗濯物を出したり酷い目に遭った。 ・ホテル出入り口、部屋のドアとも建て付けが悪くしっかりとロックが掛からない。　一度外出から帰ったら部屋の鍵が開いててビックリした。

For some reason, when we arrived, our access code didn't work, but we simply reached out via messaging service here on booking, and the situation was resolved in no time. On our departure day, we had a rather early flight and the accommodation kindly organized a taxi for us, again all through the messaging service. Communication was always super helpful and convenient 👍 😀

• Camille (6/5): Not bad but you get what you pay for - Hotel was easy to find, smooth self-check-in process, convenient location to visit the city center, essential amenities were provided (towels, shower products, razors, AC, mini fridge, slippers...). Good online communication with the staff who informed us of an incident in a nearby neighborhood and kept us updated on the situation. No dedicated parking, no natural light in the room, door locks seemed and felt flimsy, small room with nowhere to sit/eat except the bed (there's only one tiny stool that can accommodate 1 guest), thin walls, guests smoking cigarettes right in front of the main door.

• Vanessa (6/5): Was ok for what we needed, but would not stay again. - Good location, simple but comfortable room This is an unstaffed "hotel", it feels more like an AirBnB. There's also no cleaning unless you specifically request and pay for it. At one point, our door code stopped working, fortunately for us it was at 10.30 pm when their hotline is still open (it closes at night after 11). Fortunately I also had a Japanese SIM card and had saved their emergency number beforehand to call. Otherwise, we would have been locked out at night. This would not have happened at a regular hotel. Also, it does not have parking so we had to pay quite a lot extra every day to park at the recommended lot.
• YI-JIA (9/5): 會願意推薦給其他來這裡玩的朋友們~ - 房間內的大小很棒，兩個人的大行李箱能同時攤開！ 備品很齊全（牙刷牙膏、梳子、刮鬍刀、浴巾毛巾），其他東西也很齊全（化妝鏡、遮光窗簾、冰箱，衣架有四個！），吹風機還是Panasonic 的很好用！！ 透過LINE向客服詢問事情也很即時收到回應，房間內很乾淨！ 缺點是距離港口跟市區還是有點距離（大約步行10分鐘），平常日常走路還好，但拖行李時就會有點累，另外就是晚上時路燈不太亮，巷子內路燈很少，如果是女生自己一人晚上自己走回去可能會有點緊張 另外一個小缺點是沒有電梯~但只要爬一層就好！

• RIKIYA (7/5): - 値段にお得感があったかというと微妙 他の方もおっしゃっているが、風呂場の生乾き臭はどうにかしてほしい。多分トイレと風呂を区切るカーテンからあのにおい出てると思います 扉が内開きなので、靴で部屋の一部に新入することになるため、砂が少し部屋に入る 椅子も固くてガタガタなので落ち着けない また、予約ページに記載されているようなサウナなどの共用スペースもない(これは虚偽記載では？) それ以外は満足しているが、値段は少し割高に感じてしまいました。

• Ryosuke (7/5): 4泊したが満足です。 - 部屋が清潔だった。バスターミナル、離島ターミナル、リーズナブルな食事処に近かった。 他の口コミでタオルの交換があると書いてあったので、宿泊初日の朝、フェイスタオルで洗面台を拭いたが、交換されるのはバスタオルだけだった。
• Juris (9/5): - Very well located - a bit outside from the centre, but still easily walkable (05. km or less) from the port and/or airport bus stop. The area itself is quiet, but the city buzz (restaurants etc.) starts just a hundred or so metres away. Very easy and convenient contactless check-in and check-out. Comfy beds and room well planned to give a feeling of enough space for two people. Very good price/value ratio - if sometime in the future will happen to visit Ishigaki, certainly will consider staying there again.

• Natalia (10/5): Очень стильный и современный комфортный номер - Номер очень современный, просторный, чистый, комфортный. Общение с персоналом было перепиской, реагировали моментально очень очень доброжелательно. Я много путешествую по Японии и это лучший отель, в котором я побывала.

• Dina (7/5): - This was located outside of the tourist zone in the so-called 18th district, which is a former red light area. Nice small bars and eateries. The hotel was too basic for the price paid. When I arrived around 7pm there were scattered towels and sheets down the corridor which were still there the next morning. There was no staff, just messages. I was sent information that there is, supposedly, a kitchen space in the adjacent building which I could use -- but there was no such thing. Every possible door around was locked, and there were no pointers that could have led me to such space if it existed. So, in general, I did not think this was value for money.

• Ayako (9/5): リーズナブルで快適な利便性良いホテル - 2026/1月にダイビングする為にこちらのホテルを利用しました。 ホテル入り口は事前に通知された番号入力で入館。 玄関入って左手のタブレットでセルフチェックインします。 部屋も番号入力で入室します。鍵なし。 コンビニは歩いて2分のところにあり、石垣島の中心部にも歩いて8分ほどで着くので立地はとても良いです。 歯磨き、タオルは室内にあり。 他のアメニティ（洗顔料など）は廊下にありました。 使用済みタオルは廊下に出していると新しい物に交換してくれます。 寝巻き（パジャマ）はないので持参する必要ありです。 部屋の清掃は有料です（今回は2泊なので利用せず） スタンダードダブルの部屋は1人旅でダイビング器材などを置いても充分な広さでした（18㎡） ベッドがとても快適でぐっすり寝れました！ チェックアウトも手続き無しでチェックアウト時間までに退室するのみです。 お風呂と寝るのみで後は外で活動しているタイプの旅行者にはとてもリーズナブルで使いやすいホテルだと思います。 また石垣島行った際は利用したいと思います。 強いて言うならばパジャマがあると嬉しいです。

• Floris (8/5): Great stay - Room was very large and well equipped (no coffee/tea/boiler set though). Beds were nice and with a good heavy blanket. Location in the middle of Ishigaki city is very convenient. Pillows were really hard and its not possible to check in early (even though cleaning was finished). There's no reception or place to leave your belongings in case of early arrival or late departure.

• Adrien (1/5): Odeur de moisissure très forte et conditions d’humidité incompatibles avec un séjour confortable et sain. - Le logement est bien situé et l’arrivée autonome est pratique même si il n’y a aucune flexibilité sur l’heure de checkin. L’échange avec le propriétaire a été courtois. La chambre avait une forte odeur de moisissure, particulièrement dans la salle de bain. L’humidité était très importante et l’air difficile à respirer. Après quelques minutes dans la pièce, j’ai développé des plaques rouges sur le visage, ce qui ne m’arrive jamais habituellement. Voyageant avec une enfant en bas âge, il nous a été impossible de rester dans ces conditions. Même si l’établissement a proposé un nettoyage pour le lendemain, cela ne pouvait pas résoudre le problème d’humidité, clairement structurel. Nous avons donc dû demander à quitter l’hébergement via Booking.
• Alain (9/5): Chambre confortable. Annexe cuisine pas très agréable. - Bien placé à 10 mn de marche du terminal des ferries et du terminal des bus dans une ruelle calme. Une supérette Family mart à 2 mn à pied. Les coordonnées GPS de Booking sont bonnes mais attention parce qu'il y a une guesthouse du même nom juste après et qui est un autre établissement d'un autre propriétaire. Absence de réception. On reçoit le jour même un code par internet pour ouvrir la porte principale. Cette porte ne peut s'ouvrir qu à 15:00 et pas une minute avant. Absence d'ascenseur mais l'escalier est large et un seul étage était ouvert en basse saison. Je suppose qu'il y a 2 étages en haute saison. Donc il faut bien savoir que personne ne pourra vous aider à porter vos valises. Le propriétaire répond en général assez vite par messagerie booking. On peut le joindre par téléphone mais je ne parle pas Japonais et je ne sais pas si le propriétaire parle Anglais ? Chambre d'assez bonne taille mais en grande partie occupée par des grands lits jumeaux qui sont très confortables, avec bonne literie et oreillers agréables. Tout est neuf et très propre. Absence de table de chevet car pas suffisamment de place mais tablette en tête de lit. Parquet. Mini TV, réfrigérateur, sèche-cheveux, articles de toilettes en abondance dans l'entrée de l'immeuble. Salle de bains de bonne taille, agréable, avec baignoire et douchette incorporée. Bon double vitrage pour fenêtre extérieure. Grande cuisine ancienne dans un bâtiment annexe, une vieille maison. Trop de messages automatiques reçus. Absence de bouilloire et il faut donc sortir et aller dans cette vieille cuisine pour utiliser bouilloire et micro-ondes (pas agréable le soir ou le matin au reveil). Lits un peu trop grands qui occupent trop de place ou alors il faudrait des chambres plus grandes. Je crois sans certitude absolue que l'on peut laisser des bagages dans le couloir après le check out à son propre risque et je ne vois pas comment on peut revenir les chercher puisque le code de la porte change à moins de s'arranger directement avec le propriétaire ou bien les laisser dans l'annexe qui est ouverte jour et nuit. Attention : la maison annexe, pas chaleureuse, où se trouve la cuisine se situe juste avant en venant du port. Aucune inscription. On pense que c'est une maison privée (voir photo) mais la porte n'est jamais fermée à clé. Surtout ne pas aller à la guesthouse située après notre hébergement et qui a le même nom et une cuisine agréable et bien éclairée. Le propriétaire Allemand, alors que je m'étais trompé et avais commencé à utiliser la cuisine , n'était pas content à juste titre quand il est passé dans son établissement. Notre propriétaire déjà averti NE FAIT RIEN POUR METTRE UN PANNEAU A L'ENTRÉE DE SON ANNEXE CUISINE. Le micro-onde de l'annexe est très compliqué à comprendre . Aucune explication pour utiliser cette machine. L'odeur de cette maison annexe est très forte, genre odeur de fumée ou de poisson. Il n'y a même pas de sachets de thé ou de café (seulement ce que parfois les clients ont laissé !).

• Lioba (10/5): - Tolles Zimmer! Es gab genug Platz und die Einrichtung ist neu und sehr schön. Außerdem ist die Lage super, Busse sind gut zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, Fahrräder zu leihen. Einzig der schlechte Geruch im Badezimmer aus dem Abfluss ist zu bemängeln.

• Waskita Nugraha (10/5): enjoyable stay. serene neighbourhood. - exactly like the picture. the bed, the room, the bathroom are clean. if you stay more than 2 nights you will sent fresh towels everyday! there is kitchen, living room, toilet, and other facilities in the building next door. you can book bicycle 3 hours for free. public market only 5 minutes walk. near bus terminal and ferry port only 8-10minutes walk. the AC is on top of head so you have to sleep the other around if you do not like to get cold wind sprung your head

• racchen (6/5): - great location Cleanliness really needs serious improvement!!! When we first arrived, we found trash left in the fridge by the previous guest. I had to message the staff about it, but to their credit, they quickly sent someone to clean it up for us. Later that night, when using the bathroom, we discovered the toilet seat had poop stains on it that hadn’t been cleaned............................ The soundproofing was terrible — we could still hear the neighbors talking on the phone in the middle of the night. Also, in the double room, there was only one stool, meaning one person had to stand while the other sat.??? Throughout my entire stay, I kept wondering why I had canceled my other booking and chosen this place instead. I rarely give such a poor review, but the cleanliness here was truly unacceptable. I hope things will improve in the future.

I understand that every company has a policy but sometime making customers comfortable make the business very successful. I had got sick and ask for late check out , they customer service refuse and I have to check out at 10 am and walk in the rain.

• Joao (9/5): Perfect to relax in town - The location is great for those who want to stay in town, very close to restaurants, the port and convenience stores. Also, the bed is very comfortable. Nothing wrong. Just a mention, the commons spaces are in a different building. They are very very close but doesn't make it "natural" to used them often: "That feeling: since I'm here I will have a snack in the kitchen" so you end up not using it.
• Melanie (10/5): Amazing stay in the heart of downtown Ishigaki - We loved everything! The room is exactly as advertised. It’s comfy and spacious, and it has everything you need. Extra extra point for the bathroom! Location is also great, it’s right off the Main Street and so easy to go around from. There is no staff on site (except for cleaners who come daily) but the help they provide through message is incredible. I wasn’t sure about the fact that there is no on site staff/reception at first but they manage everything remotely and it works out well. Maybe a parking would have been nice..

Staff was very responsive and incredibly accommodating! The stool (only chair in the room) is quite uncomfortable, other than that we had a great time

• Zoe (10/5): We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Ishigaki. The facility was very well maintained and the location was perfect. - The property was very well maintained and the location was awesome. We liked staying in the traditional Japanese room. The beds were very comfortable.
• Hoi (10/5): Exceptional -
• Sarah (9/5): Superb - Clean and airy room No lift
• Anders (7/5): Good value! - big room, private bathroom, well working fridge and AC. the code to the main entrance and our room was the same, which was was a bit worrying. Though we did not point this out to the staff and it might have been a coincidence.
