Holly (4/5): Disappointed in the cleanliness and over all facilities - Close to local amenities. Very responsive to the issue we had with the internet. Very close to a busy loud road. Back garden was mostly unusable, with broken paving slabs, leaves and debris everywhere, outside sofa was filthy, rubbish and litter in the garden back gate insecure so not child friendly. General cleanliness was very poor had to wash everything before using it (cups, glasses, cutlery, pots/pans) the cupboards were filthy, there’s very limited kitchen equipment, no cleaning equipment, we had to buy our own spray, toilet cleaner, hand soap etc. and there was no draining board for washing up, no drying cloth and no vacuum cleaner to tidy up after ourselves. The front door has huge gaps round it, the lock on the front door was poor, if someone wanted to kick it in, they absolutely could. The windows were filthy, the sofa was very uncomfortable and was supposed to be a corner sofa but it wasn’t attached to each other so kept separating, the sofa cushions weren’t clean either. The bathrooms weren’t particularly clean with hair around the toilet. Scuff marks and general dirty marks on all the walls, shower curtains had marks on them and the hair dryer was also filthy some how? Ironically we were unable to check out later due to the cleaning needing to be done for the next guests. It also says there’s a fitness centre but there isn’t. I am not sure the previous review is genuine? I have more photos but could only upload 4 unfortunately.
