• Stefan (10/5): Unas de las mejores experiencias de hoteleras de los últimos años ! - Perfectamente situado a dos pasos de la Plaza de Armas de Chachapoyas- en una calle peatonal muy bonita. Hotel muy acogedor, con servicio excelente. El restaurante es uno de los mejores de la ciudad - y los cocteles en el bar perfectamente preparados. Y un equipo muy amable - una dirección perfecta para descubrir Chachapoyas y su región! -

Touren , Taxi etc. können direkt an der Reception gebucht werden. Ansprechendes Restaurant vor Ort. Zimmeraustattung trotz gewähltem Superior Zimmer eher einfach. Bad ohne Fenster und Ventilator, dafür teilweise offen zum Schlafraum. Hotel ringhörig.

• Anja (8/5): Wir haben wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. - Das nette Personal. Das riesige Bett und die Dusche hat einen kräftigen Wasserdruck und es gibt heisses Wasser. Sie ist schön und stielvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und ruhig.

Si se va por trabajo, no es el lugar ideal, las habitaciones no tienen escritorio y se escucha mucho la bulla de la cocina del restaurante. • Della Santina (10/5): Highly recommend! - Super helpful staff, convenient location, gorgeous building, delicious breakfasts. We extended our three nights to five, and were sad to leave. No window to the outside ( just into the inner courtyard) means that inside sounds like breakfast preparation are very audible -- but on the plus side, no street noise and very quiet at night!

Very helpful stafff and just off the central square so very well positioned. A bit noisy during the day-there was a portest going on during our stay-but all was quiet by bedtime.

• Renee (10/5): In the heart of the historic district - a stone's throw from the plaza - truly charming. - The hotel is a restored and renovated colonial home - Absolutely Gorgeous! The ONLY place in our 16 days in Peru that had 5 choices for breakfast. We had a European-style yogurt, granola and fruit. Ask for a room overlooking the colonial cobblestone road at the entrance. The room we had was right at the top of the stairs and too exposed to hotel traffic, I didn't feel like I had sufficient privacy.

Big bathroom with hot showers. Great breakfast choices. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond. Special mention to Nicole who was absolutely fabulous. She was wonderful in helping and caring, making it a very memorable stay. Extended my stay which was easily done. Best hotel that I have stayed in Peru after nearly two months of travel.

Too small for 2 people. No mini fridge! We were both working. We used the table outside the room. For the rest, all good!

• Ingmar (5/5): Just a place to spend your night. Could not stay longer. - Location is the greatest. The room. No windows. Door not closing (unable to lock it). Noise (at the morning - all the breakfast making in the kitchen started really early). No good WIFI (in got shut town as the lobby bar was closed - so no internet during the night, when you are at your room). Bad lighting. Dark and gloomy.

Made our evenings better with complimentary drinks and snacks too. They even gave us our room at 7am in the morning when we came off the night bus with no early check in charge! The hotel has a hook up with a fantastic tour of Kue Lap with an English speaking guide - highly recommend!

Restaurant and bar were exceptional, the chef and the bartender both deserve only praise. Hotel staff and management made our stay more than perfect, we really got spoiled by their kindness and personal care. Management were one of the few speaking English in the region. During our 3 week travel in Peru, Doréan was surely the best place we stayed and one of the best restaurants we ate at. Would go back any time. nothing like that
