• Waldemar (10/5): An island paradise with friendly staff that demands more attention from the owner of this resort! - Replace the furnitur - Very spacious, well-maintained, comfortable territory! - very responsive staff - delicious and varied food (Chinese New Year period!) - beautiful beach - variety of activities!! - a very colorful village outside the resort: we went there twice We stayed 5 nights in villa 53 with a pool and sea view: 1. old furniture was partially malfunctioning (cabinet doors) 2. ceramic tiles on the walls in the shower were damaged 3. noisy air conditioner with no way to regulate it: intense lighting from it at night from the built-in control unit: red light!! 4. not enough hot water for taking a bath: it is enough to fill the bath to 1/4 of the required water level ;((

La struttura è vecchia ,pochi servizi , ci hanno fatto pagare anche il latte per il bambino e non c era buffet a colazione tranne il primo giorno motivato dal fatto che gli ospiti erano pochi. Non aspettatevi un hotel a 5 stelle e neanche da 4, tranne che per i prezzi che in alcuni casi risultavano sproporzionati.

• Michaela (7/5): Good, lovely staff and setting but not five star - Location is lovely, beautiful setting and nice pool. The treatments at the spa are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Sorry these are small things but should be addressed if a supposed 5 star hotel Only one pillow each and charged for any additional pillows One towel each only no hand towels No shampoo only body wash Very expensive taxi or tuk tuk to Moalboal. (Not hotels fault but should be aware)
• Amélie (4/5): Quelle déception ! - L’arrivée en bateau Le lieu pourrait avoir tout pour être un paradis, mais il s’agit malheureusement d’un hôtel laissé à l’abandon, sans réelle gestion ni présence managériale sur place. Nous avons été très déçus par la qualité de la chambre et de l’environnement général : tout est très vieillissant et nécessiterait une rénovation complète. La piscine privée était mal entretenue, avec une eau sale et de nombreux éléments rouillés, ce qui est loin des photos présentées sur le site de réservation. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté un problème dans la gestion de notre réservation. Il n’y avait personne capable de nous fournir une information claire et fiable, et nous avons été baladés tout au long du séjour. Il était impossible de parler à un responsable sur place, tout simplement parce qu’il n’y en avait pas. Nous avons finalement dû régler la situation directement avec la plateforme Booking. Même l’e-mail envoyé à l’hôtel après notre séjour est resté sans réponse. La restauration est également très décevante : la qualité des plats n’est pas au rendez-vous, même les pâtes étaient beaucoup trop cuites. Au vu du prix de la chambre, le rapport qualité-prix est clairement insuffisant. Après avoir voyagé dans plusieurs îles des Philippines et séjourné dans différents hôtels, il s’agit malheureusement de notre première réelle déception.

Très déçue d'avoir dû payer le bateau aller retour pour accéder à l'hôtel ( je comprends que les trajets en extra soient payants mais celui qui sert à accéder à l'hôtel devrait être compris, surtout à 400€ la nuit)

Personnel très sympathique et accueillant, nourriture excellente et mention spéciale pour le spa. Le meilleur massage d’une vie réalisé par deux masseuses en même temps!!

• Fenella Maria (7/5): Fantastic nature - The nature, the thalasso pools and the beach were fantastic. Few guests in the resort so the place was so peaceful. The pool in the pool villa was great, good privacy. So spacious rooms. Quiet and beautiful resort. The pillows were too thick and hard. Comforters only upon request, and got a thick blanket instead. Bed quite firm. Extra charge for bed stains and information about this should have been disclosed upon check-in. No fruits served during breakfast, dinner options are pricey, and food portions quite small for the price. Faucets were loose and needed fixing. The common pool waterfall roof is old and needs an upgrade.

At least Wheelchair and ramps. - food was really good resort was not friendly for guests with mobility problems. It would have been very helpful if they have a golf cart or at least wheelchair, and portions of the roads that can accommodate wheelchairs. No ramps.

• Christian (8/5): Gem of an Island, Beautiful Escapade at Badian Island Wellness - The resort, being on an island, offered much needed relaxation and privacy. The staff gave commendable service and were attentive to our needs. The shuttle boat arrived on time and we were warmly welcomed with pretty leis garlands. This was a nice personal touch. The massive resort made us feel we were the only ones on the island. This exclusivity is the selling point of the resort. The rooms resemble Bali/Thai architecture which gave luxury vibes without having to travel out of the Philippines. Coming from Cebu City, it was a smooth 3 hour ride and the port to the island was easily navigable through Waze. The locals were helpful as well in pointing the directions. Our car was safely parked on a lot adjacent to the port. We've paid Php300.00 for this. Future guests might want to arrange free parking and should coordinate with the resort. This was one thing we didn't do and opted to just pay the parking owner. I wished there was a TV inside the room. We went on a rather rainy day so a TV could have given some entertainment while waiting indoors. This was not a deal breaker though. Compared to other resorts we have been to, the breakfast was quite underwhelming. I think we were used to the buffet style complimentary breakfast with more options. Yet we've realized that the ALA carte breakfast style is one way for sustainability to avoid wasting too much food. The fast service and beautiful resto overlooking the pool and mountains balanced out our experience.

No casino , no golf club, no cars, no TV, only adults , landscaping lovingly maintained , but not excessively, super friendly staff, incredible massage team. Bring books and relax and sleep off your stress , on this island you are condemned to do nothing but enjoy the hospitality.

• Shannon (10/5): Wonderful resort, very peaceful and secluded and the staff were amazing at accommodating our needs. - The property is stunning. Situated on its own beautiful island. The rooms are island like and the sandy walkways make it feel very secluded. The staff were nothing but exceptional and accommodated to all of our needs. The drink and food selection was very good and I’d definitely recommend going for a relaxing stay. Moalboal isn’t far away for a bit more lively action, which the hotel can arrange for you at a cost.

The place is very quiet and I could feel the island vibes. The service is excellent. I traveled with my family with 2 kids and we enjoyed the water activity(kayaking) and the various entertainment at each night.I definitely recommend this place for people who likes peaceful and quiet place and also would definitely stay here again.

• MINHEE (8/5): 진정한 힐링을 선사하는 리조트 - 바디안 섬에 있어 조용하게 쉬면서 자연을 느끼고 진정한 힐링을 할수 있는 리조트이며 스노쿨링이나 다이빙 스팟이 너무 아름다운 곳 입니다. 그리고 직원들이 매우 따뜻한 마음씨로 반갑게 대해 줍니다. 불편한 점은 세부 막탄 공항에서 리조트에 예약 한 벤이나 택시로 밤 시간대 이동 시 2시간 30분 정도 걸립니다. 가급적 오후 9시 넘어서 이동하는 것을 팁으로 알려 드리고 싶습니다. 비행 후 또 긴 시간을 이동하는 수고스러움이 있지만 저는 이 리조트가 너무 좋아서 10번 정도 머물렸습니다. 늘 진정한 휴식을 통한 재충전 할수 있기에 가장 좋아하는 리조트입니다. 룸에는 TV도 없고 가끔 조그마한 도마뱀이 놀러 오는 정말 친화경적인 리조트 산호로 가득한 맑은 바다속에 수십종의 알록달록 열대어와 거북이와 함께 수영하며 행복한 시간을 보낼 수 있는 아름다운 리조트. 디너 시간대 전통 공연을 보고 맛사지로 피로를 풀고 수많은 별을 세며 깊은 잠에 드는 리조트로 모든 것이 충족되는 매우 멋진 리조트입니다
• Stuart (10/5): Exceptional staff and service - The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. The pool is beautiful. The AC was the only thing we didn't like. It was very hard to control. But other than that, nothing at all that we didn't like.

For the price that you pay we had to pay more on top for the the water sport activities like the canoes. Hated the uphill long walk to our room. Really relaxing, which is what we came for. Some of the facilities, such as the game room wasn’t available. Understanding of the damage from the typhoon. Overall a good place to stay!

• Dante (9/5): Superb - We were blown away by the Badian Islands resort. The pictures didn't do it justice at all. Would highly recommend! The breakfast is not amazing and because you're on the island all day you are unfortunately left with just one quite small food menu, which can get quite 'samey'.

Arriving on an overcasted day, the resort was a bit sleepy but once the sun rays came through later in the day, the resort was gorgeous! Overall, we loved the staff. Shout out to Clifford at the restaurant. He was our favorite and such a hard worker! Come for a night and you'll find yourself staying for the service/team

• Mark (5/5): I won’t be coming back. - The friendly staff. The beach was far from the rooms. The first room we got there was construction next door and the fumes and dust and paint was coming in our room. The amenities that was described wasn’t there anymore. The beach access and the swimming pool closes at 5. The basketball court was horrible. We got a couple massage and after we didn’t get wiped down with hot towel. We left the spa really oily. There’s is no phone in the rooms. You have to call reception with your cell phone.

We later camped on a remote island and our basic needs were met a lot better than staying in this expensive resort. I couldn’t imagine staying for any longer than 2-3 days as it is now. Boat transfers out with arrival/departure 400 per person per journey (<5 min journey) Empty minibar (asked for it to be filled but not possible) Limited, expensive restaurant menu and too formal (same menu for lunch and dinner) poor breakfast No casual dining option for lunch No pool bar or shop to buy snacks (luckily we stopped at a 7/11 after canyoneering to stock up) only 2x500ml bottles of drinking water per day and only if you get your room cleaned unable to get drinks >10pm as the only bar was in the restaurant (there was a pool bar but this wasn’t open during our stay) No gym

• Vladimir (10/5): - Pros: Nice large room with private pool. Ocean and mountain view. Very good food, authentic choices. Nice easy diving. Many on-land activities. Live entertainment every night. They were very ethical in separating a Chinese group that came before the virus outbreak. The group was safe but the management did a very good job respecting the group (organized a separate "wedding type" dinner on the beach) and putting the rest of guests at ease by separating them. Very nice, friendly, and sincere staff. THANK YOU AMOR, SHEILA, DENIS and the rest of dive staff and hotel staff!! Cons: The west and north ends need some housekeeping. Showers at the beach need to be fixed.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is beautiful! They pick you up in a boat to go over to the island and then 2 staff members met us on the dock with flowers. Staff was great and it was very relaxing. What was sad is the beach had a lot of junk on it that had blown in but had not been picked up for a while, plastic bottles, bags and numerous other things. I went to lay on the beach and saw I was surrounded by garbage. I got a bag and picked and filled it full then went and grabbed a couple staff members and got them to join me. One hour later it was clean. Hopefully they are keeping it up
• Verified traveler (10/5): - 空港に着いたがホテル手配のタクシーが分からず名前を出してほしかった。 ホテルまで空港～3時間半～船で5分弱(14時出発～18時15分着)真っ暗で、子供びびっていました。 ボート到着後受付のお姉さん達がいい匂いの花のネックレスをつけてくれた。 5泊6日24時間入れるプールに、SPAは最高！ 販売ショップは無し。 朝食はbreakfast 朝が早いオプショナルツアーでも、サンドイッチや、デザート飲み物を用意してくれて、食事は美味しかった！もう少し日本語喋れる方がいるといいかな。 アクシデントもあったが、笑って対応には、感謝した。 もう少しフィリピン文化に使える英語が、自分も勉強してまた行きたい。毎日13時頃ルームクリーニング来てくれて、部屋は清潔でしたが。ヤモリが多かった（笑）
• Verified traveler (8/5): 리얼후기 - 장점 직원들이 매우친절했으며 조용한 휴가를 보내기 좋았다 다른 손님들이랑 마주치는일 조차 거의 없었음 리조트내에 와이파이가 잘 잡혔다 일정때문에 새벽에 일찍나가야해서 조식이용을 못하게되니 샌드위치 , 과일 , 음료를 준비해주는 정성 또한 감동이였다 리조트내에 어떤곳도 화보촬영 스팟이 될수있다! 재방문의사있음 단점 1.접근성이 많이 떨어짐(공항에서 리조트까지거리가 굉장히 멀다. 반대로 돌아오는날도 멀다ㄷㄷ) 2.숙소에 도마뱀들이 있었고 쥐가 나왔음(동남아 특성이라고 이해해보려고 노력했음ㅠㅠ) 3.신발을 신고 들어가는 방이라 조금 불편했고 샤워기 수압이 약함 (리조트 내 사람들이 걸어다니는 길이 모래여서 방에들어가면 모래때문에 살짝 불편할정도) 주의사항 : 리조트내 풀장이 많이깊다(깊은쪽은 약 2.5m)

I would have paid half of what I did for the value of the stay, that it probably why there was only 2 other small groups of customers there.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Das etwas andere Resort ! Wer hier pompösen Luxus sucht ist fehl am Platz, wer aber das Individuelle und die Ruhe sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Viel Liebe zum Detail mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal, wenn auch die Unterkunft schon etwas älter ist, so ist alles absolut sauber. Ein Hotel um einfach ein paar ruhige Tage zu verbringen und traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge mit einem Cocktail zu geniessen.

• Bjarne (4/5): Overpriset gammel luksus - Hyggelig betjening, men hotellet bærer virkelig preg av å ikke ha blitt vedlikeholdt på mange år. Var kanskje 5 stjerner en gang, men nå bør det ikke gis mer enn 3. Mat, drikke og spa var svært overpriset. Fin øy, og lite aktiviteter så fungerer greit hvis dere ønsker å slappe av en dag.. rommene var store og rene. Bassenget var fint selv om det bærer preg av å være gammelt.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great resort, ok beach - Getaway weekend. The place is awesome! Beach is ok. Free boat service 24/7. Friendly and helpful staff. We would go back.
• Sonia (6/5): Good overall stay - My overall stay was fine, accommodation was comfortable, clean and spacious. The service and staff were great. The only two points would be I received no prior information that you need to make your way to way to the dedicated port so a boat can collect you. Also I was very ill from a meal that I ate there for a few days which ruined my stay for the duration I spent at the Badian island wellness resort.

This photos are when the hotel was still new. its run down, no wifi in rooms, beach is dirty, only have one food options. rooms are old old old....... staff are nice that i give them. management its a waste if you do not clean up and renovate.....
• JKLucas (6/5): Nice escape from Cebu City but overpriced - Our 2 night stay was pleasant enough. The location was great particularly if you want to escape from the noise of Cebu City! However due to its isolated location it was not the easiest place to get to and there was no information provided on their website on how to get there (after speaking to the locals we hoped onto a tricycle which took us to the dock opposite the island where they had a speed boat that would take us to the island free of charge, 24/7!). The resort itself was good with all the amenities you would expect for the star rating and price and helpful staff on-hand (if you could find them!). The room was good; spacious with air-con, outdoor balcony and complete with an outdoor bath! We thought the restaurant food was good for both breakfast and dinner however we were keen to eat elsewhere because it was expensive compared to places on the mainland. The resort whilst having all of these wellness and relaxation facilities felt somewhat aged and could do with a rethink. Their organic farm for example was merely the odd tree and hedge and their gaming room was a let down (pool table was ripped, some of the balls missing and was not even level!) So for the money it doesn't fully justify its value. However with a bit of TLC and thought on how to bring it into the 21st century it could be a fantastic destination.
• Wanpaphasiri (8/5): Badian not bad not good. - Felt like the resort was tired and past its prime. No wifi which was frustrating. Beach was very average. Staff were super nice though.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - It was one of the best resorts we have been to! The friendliness and courtesy of the staff made the experience memorable. Although the drive was quite long from the airport, all we have to say is that drive is worth it. The spa was an amazing experience! Definitely something to check out if you are there to unwind. Only one restaurant is located on the Island, but the boat ride to the main island is always open. There was a little bit of a mix up with one of the orders we made with the restaurant. We ordered medium rare steak, but they accidentally gave us medium rare pork. Communication there also needs to be improved. Staff usually doesn’t communicate or explain things clearly - so always ask questions to make sure your experience will be a good one. All in all if you are looking for a place to just sit back relax, and enjoy a drink or two. Badian Island is the place to be!
• SB (4/5): Serene beautiful location - 4 hours from airport - The hotel is a lot further than the airport than they say on the website - allow 3.5 hours minimum (i had very little traffic and it was closer to 4). The staff are lovely and the location is amazing; but the beach / sea isn’t up to much. The hotel itself is quite run down; i didn’t have hot water for the first night and day of the stay; couldn’t get an answer from the room service or activity booking numbers; the sauna wasn’t working and the thallaso spa is a bit limited. The pool area is nice and th food isn’t too bad; but overall it’s probably 3.5 to 4 star at the very best. Good place to get away though, and the staff are sweet and well meaning.
• Brian (8/5): - The Island was great and relaxing. It was our second time here, the last one being 5 years ago. Unfortunately since that time nothing changed, it could use some upgrades as the place is getting old. The people were friendly though but could use an improvement in service. The manager did share with us that they are in the process of doing major upgrades. Overall the island is still worth visiting.
