The owner is very friendly and kind, he let me leave my bag at the accommodation after I had checked out, so that I could explore the city before moving on. The bed was comfortable and aircon works well. The bathroom was not that clean

- Ruby (9/5): - The location was perfect for us as we needed to go to the department of immigration for a visa extension. The host was super kind and helpful, also the house is absolutely stunning. Beds were comfortable and there was a hot shower in the bathroom. WiFi was ok, but worked better in the shared areas. Shared areas were also really clean and beautiful, with a nice fridge and kettle available to guests. Upon request the host let us use the gas stove as well, but this is located in a separate kitchen. The place was super clean and quiet. The ceiling fan was not working but there was AC and the host immediately provided us with another fan. We thought the kitchen was fully available to us but it is not exactly like that, although we were allowed to use the gas. The room was located on the ground floor, thus was very humid.

- Niklas (4/5): War okay - Schönes Haus und gepflegt. Die Lage ist ruhig aber nicht im Zentrum von daher weniger optimal wenn man zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten möchte. Der Host ist sehr sehr lieb und bemüht den Gästen alles recht zu machen - das hat uns gut gefallen. Das Zimmer, welches wir hatten, hat leider die ganze Zeit über nach Motoröl und Abgasen gestunken. Unsere ganze Klamotten aus dem Koffer riechen nun danach. Das ist wirklich sehr schade.

- Marina (8/5): Affordable and efficient stay - I stayed at this hostel/homestay hybrid and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is tucked away in a peaceful residential neighborhood, offering a quiet atmosphere that’s perfect for rest. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the entire place is kept very clean and tidy. The location is also quite good, making it easy to get around (During peak times, Uber might take at least 15-20 minutes - so plan ahead). Slow and intermittent Wifi. One thing to note is that while the photos show a kitchen, it isn’t really available for guest use. That said, there is access to a refrigerator, microwave, and a small common area with tea, coffee, and creamer provided. Having full tea/coffee amenities would make the stay even better. (not really waterfront)

The hot showers we very much appreciated!! Location was quiet and convenient - close but not too close to main road and very easy buses to central core. Convenient for walking in nearby greenspace.

We couldn't stay for breakfast, but they served us tea nicely in the morning. We wanted to use the ironing area, and they had it. They offer very friendly and professional service to everyone (even if you're a local, there's no difference — you're welcomed there).

It is further quiet and peaceful for one to get a good night's sleep after a hectic outing. There 's a nice kitchen pantry and dining area with all the white wares and dinner wares. One can even pre-order breakfast or dinner in advance. The property manager and caretaker, Rajiv was exceptional with his attitude and service. Humble, proactive and eager to help you can always count on him. The place is just off the road easy to reach by foot. Had the opportunity to meet the owner of the property Jay on our last day. He was a very warm, friendly and joyous. Thanks Jay for allowing us to stay in your house and our deep regards to Rajiv for all his services.

The waterfront walk was also a nice touch, we enjoyed the weekend local markets and the restaurants around. We were still quite close to the city but enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Colombo. NA
