• Alun (10/5): Location is excellent for discovering coastal paths - Excellent location. We traveled to Par station by train which is close to our accommodation. Bus stop even closer so used Cornwall bus pass to visit Fowey and Portloe for walks along the coast. The appartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay as part of our wedding anniversary. Loads of travel books to tempt us on future holidays around the world, and Daphne du Maurier books. Everything was excellent, no complaints
• Penny (10/5): Fabulous place to explore this interesting part of Cornwall - Very comfortable and well appointed apartment Wonderful setting in a village with shop and pub Very helpful friendly hosts Great area of Cornwall for walks and history The only tiny thing was not enough crockery . Kitchen space very limited but not a problem if you don’t want to do much cooking . Didn’t spoil our stay at all

Quite location. Pub and beach within walking distance. There was a lot of useful Information from the landlord for actvities in the surrounding area. We didn‘t miss anything.
• Caroline (10/5): Excellent and peaceful. - The apartment is as advertised and feels like home. The access to the table and bench in the garden was lovely. It is very peaceful and the little village agreable. The hosts were welcoming. The area around has a lot to offer in coastal walks, beaches, canoeing, history, food ... loved it!

• Jennifer (10/5): A perfect stay, in a perfect property, in a perfect location - The property was in a perfect location, it had the feel of being in the heart of the countryside, a quiet dead end lane, tucked behind the village Church, yet village amenities close by. Coastal path within close proximity & even a bus service so we could have a car free day. The property had a lovely ambience inside & outside, decorated & furnished in a tasteful, eclectic way that made it feel so relaxing & homely. The host was very friendly & helpful, Nothing, all perfect.

Tastefully decorated, space to relax, and it felt like a home. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. The little village had everything for a comfortable stay. Nothing.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts Deborah and Peter. The position is perfect everything nearby or a short drive plus great location to explore the coastal villages. Highly recommend. Met all our needs.Thank you. - Breakfast- provisions provided, as stated, perfectly adequate for us to cater for ourselves. Village shop- well supplied and very welcoming. Pub- good food and sense of community , welcoming. Locality of Cosy Retreat, perfect for our stay, Fowey was quaint and beautiful. We were happy with all.
