Guest Reviews
- Blair (7/5): Great, peaceful place! - Beautiful, peaceful place with friendly staff. Well located for the town about ten minutes' walk away, numerous trails nearby, numerous cafes and restaurants within a few hundred metres. Food and some other services (laundry etc) available at the site. Although it was a holiday period when I visited, by Malaysian standards the value for money is horrendous. For the same price you could stay in a fairly luxurious hotel almost anywhere in the country.

- Khairil Anwar (10/5): 2nd visit to Glamping! - Location, facility, services I think it just need hang place in the toilet. Other, not much can I say but superb.
- Farrah Shamilla (10/5): Wonderful experience with my friends - Privacy, beautiful scenaries, cute farm animals, clean, staffs are all helpful & accomodating, very comfortable and relaxing. The climb up and down was a bit daunting but luckily the distance was short.
- Emilia (9/5): Amazing place - Nice staff, amazing views, comofortable place.
- Chin (9/5): - Staff was super friendly, the view from my tent was spectacular, and the public kitchen there helped us a lot. Public toilet was clean and wide, can fit 3 people. Don't even bother setting your alarm the roosters there will be in charge of waking you up! Great for leg workout to be honest. I'd forgotten if it was the main stairs or the back stairs but it was quite risky to venture up to the reception. Better pack lightly, unless youre staying for more than 3 days...and want to burn calories-

- Nora (10/5): Will come back soon - Very natural breat taking area. Silent & nature vibes
- Annas (8/5): 👍🏽👍🏽 - Kawasan cantik, selesa & sejuk untuk glamping. Banyak kemudahan utk memasak kat pantry. Baca review byk review pasal host yg ramah, ada tangkap anak ayam, petik kobis/sayur etc. Tapi masa kami dtg xda pun semua tu ☹️. host pun x nampak kecuali bro receptionist. 😔
- Hamza (10/5): - It was an amazing stay at backyad glamping. Our camp was clean, cozy and give a beautiful scenic view. It takes a little steep walk to reach up there at the camp, but it was worth it.
- Emma (10/5): Gorgeous glamping site - fabulous host - Gorgeous glamping site. Set up is fantastic.
Ja was a great host and really looked after our family. Food provided was great and so much fun cooking it as a family. Nothing not to like.
- Khan (10/5): - I like the weather and the view , as well as they got everything in the kitchen to cook comfortably I didn't like the way stuff wasn't available at night, because we needed extra blankets at night, whatever we needed we would go to find the staff but they were hard to find and at night there was no any responsible person
Super consigliato

You can see stars at night and i love the night breeze! The staff was friendly and showed us around the glamping area. You need to park at the roadside.

- Elsie (9/5): - Absolutely beautiful garden, so well maintained and so relaxing. Lovely views of the highlands.
- Lieze (8/5): Goed - Zeer grote tent en grote bedden Het ligt dichtbij een drukke weg
- Marit Mary (10/5): Enjoy time with your family or friends in this peaceful, relax and good organized place :) - We stayed 4 nights and we were so happy we went to this place!! We, family with kids of 2 and 4, could have a camping experience. If you want to do things in the area, it’s super easy and not expensive to get a grab. Dont stay in the center, just go here and be in the nature. Still it’s luxe cause the family tent is a perfect fit. Making a campfire and there is everything for a delicious bbq. The kids could play on the big gras they had. Strawberry farm just 10min walk and place to eat breakfast and lunch closed by (at the corner!).
We had an issue with the payment, booking.com cancelled the whole reservation. The staff of this place helpen me amazing!! Rode all the way to KL to give the money back i had pay to much even it was not their fault. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit the highlands but want to spend the night at a special peacefull place instead of just a normal hotel. It even has very warm water. Thank you for staying at this beautiful secret place :)
- Izzat (9/5): Amazing for nature lovers! - Very recommended to come here with family and friends for those who want to have 'camping vibe' with amazing scenery and weather, minus the hustle just a short hike up the hill. I come with my wife and two babies son, they love it. Best time to come during low season, try it!
- Azhana Binti (8/5): -
- ainaa (10/5): -
- Luca (9/5): - Super wonderful for a glamping experience
- Amelia (6/5): - The location is a bit uphill. Was okay. But i dont like the tent A location. There was no view. Just behind the pantry. There was a camper cooked on late night past midnight and was loud
Overall was okay. Can repeat. But hope to improvise the service in terms of during checking in & checking out.
Recommended for campers / glampers. The water pressure for camp a below was terrible. No water heater.

- Jeremy Nathan (9/5): Perfect getaway for family of 4. - We love this place. Our family of 4 (two small boys ages 3 and 6) had a really comfortable 3 night stays. The tents are really large with 2 double beds inside. We had the deluxe family tent which came with its own private shower and pantry with gas cooker setup.
The weather was winding and cold but then tents were sheltered and warm inside.
The chickens, geese and friendly cat keep the kids entertained.
The crew were all super welcoming and helpful. There is a short step climb up the hill to the plateau where the tents are so not ideal if you have large luggage. We purposely packed everything into smaller carry bags.
To our surprise there is a small kids playground near the strawberry farm less than 100m walk away. There are also restaurants nearby but we ate most our meals at the campsite.
One limitation to be aware of there are no nearby convenience stores so you’ll want to stock up on your food supplies and snacks before you arrive.
Getting in and out wasnt difficult. Finding carparking on the road near the entrance was easy enough even though it was a public holiday. My only suggestion for improvement would be the cookware. The assortment of pots and pans were limited and what was available was rather old and worn out or cheap quality. Maybe they've had issues of items being taken away, if so, then perhaps a deposit on a good cook set would be a suggestion to provide the option for campers.
- Filipe Magnum (6/5): The tent was clean and comfortable, but noise from the mosque, roosters, and other guests made it difficult to rest - The place is satisfactory, offering a nice view and spacious tents One of the washrooms could be better maintained, as several torn and damaged parts made it difficult to use, particularly for women.
- MUHAMMAD NASRUL SHAHRINI (10/5): - The staff so friendly, best place to enjoy nature in cameron. near to all attraction place and easy excess have to hike 50m. but thats cool..
- NurFazliana (10/5): Best gile - I like the concept Parking huhu
- AMINAH (10/5): -
- Quarda Dohny (8/5): - fun place to visit, true kampung feel. nothing is perfect
- Masmi Mohamad (9/5): - The location, vibes Had to climb up quite high with our belongings. Parking is first come first serve
- NUR IZWANI SHAHIRA (10/5): -
- Munirah (10/5): - The view It is a bit hard to climb.
- nazeefah (9/5): i enjoy the freshness and the scenery - I pay for the additional stim boat for the night.. the food was overall ok n fresh.. it just maybe you could provide extra paste and other sauce to dip with the stimboat, such as chilli oil and mayonaise..
- Arjun (10/5): Lieux relaxant - Le charme du lieux
- Muhamad Haniff (8/5): -
- Halijah (9/5): -
- Maria (10/5): Maravilloso!
- NORMAHINAWATI (10/5): - The tent is so confortable Cookware is to old. Please get new one.
- Rusnaini (9/5): Lovely. My 9 yrs old daughter loves this place so much. Such a great place to come with bunch of friends. - Close to nature, yet very near to every modern facilities. Feel safe. The Water heater was not functioning.
- Chow Khong (1/5): -
- Swayam (6/5): -
- Muhamad Haqeem (9/5): -
- Rosmawati (10/5): -
- Safiuddin Azri (9/5): overall, it’s a fun trip! - location, the comfy tent and environment! but location might be subjective to others. for sure it’s muslim friendly. near to a mosque and surrounding local restaurant. got few routes to access the site where one is quite steep and one less steeper. but for people who usually hikes and camp, both should be doable. unfortunately the hot water was not hot enough for kids.
- Faris (10/5): -
- Shahrol Nizam (10/5): Will repeat again for sure -
- Aurealia (8/5): Very relaxing. - There are utensils, bowls, pots and plates for usage. The family tent was big for us 3 people. The receptionist guy is very friendly and helpful. There are campfire spot available. And swings. And cute, soft cat. The hike up to the glamping area is quite steep. No hot water available.
- SITI SAFINAR (9/5): was a wonderful stay. will come again if there is a chance - location was perfect. but once you reached there, you will refuse to go down. haha. quite high to hike for elderly. but surrounding was superb. so calming. no separation toilet for male/female. hook was broken in certain toilet. the rest all okay.
- Karine (10/5): -
- Muhammad (10/5): - The place so refreshing, calm and nice Dont have mirror in the tent
- Ng (10/5): - Have to took all my stuffs to climb 30-40 step staircase to reach the receptionist.....
- Farah Adila (9/5): - Tenang, kemah bersih. Cantik taman dan kebun sayur None
- Rene (10/5): Erlebnis mit ausreichend Komfort - Tolles Leute. Tolles Erlebnis. Traumhaft angelegt.
- Sophie (10/5): - All the staff were very amazing and accommodating! The excursion was lots of fun, and the tent facilities were super comfortable and clean. There was rain while we were staying, and the tent stayed warm and dry! One of the pillows in our tent had mould, so we didn’t use that one.
- filip (9/5): -
- Muhamad Ashraf (8/5): Pls review the price - Environment excellent. Pricing
- Rashid (10/5): Love the stay and would like to come back again - Beautiful place, and owner is very attentive to our request. The view is awesome, you can actually walk to Kampung Sedia. Kitchen, fridge and are all functional. Toilet is separated (sharing) but it is well lit and convenient. The main path for climbing up hill can be a challenge if you are not used to the place or when it is a bit wet. Not really suitable elderly people. However, there is another path is much better, if they can actually improve the main path climbing up that would be awesome.
- Elyne (7/5): Good - Exceptional location! They are really creating something beautiful here.
The family tents are very big and comfortable. Staff is super nice and helps you with any question.
The gardens are so beautiful and you can tell that they are putting a lot of effort in it. Also, we hired a scooter through them to explore the region and it was a very nice experience! The location is great but be aware that there is a mosque very close by and the prayers are starting very early in the morning. It woke us up every day at 6am and lasted 30mins.
The kitchen area and bathrooms could use a little glam up. There is no toilet paper available so bring your own if you need it.
Also, the Cameron Highlands are very humid. Everything in our backpacks got extremely humid and it was impossible to get it dry. We thought about getting our laundry done but it would have been a waste of money since it would al get humid again once in our tent.
- Nur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Praba (6/5): can consider stay during non busy day. - Nature of environment. Tent A only bit noisy because of kitchen just behind of tent. night noise from main road .
- Tan (8/5): Very good -
- Mahendra (8/5): Goog location for a nights stay - No breakfast provided The bedding in the tent. was a bit old .
- Chow (6/5): It is suitable for those young and energetic people to enjoy the glamping. Have a steamboat at own g - The staff attended the problems very fast, friendly and punctual. Noisy from motor vehicles during midnight. Loud from surrounding at nearby shops, mosque, traffic jam due to small road. The steamboat didn't provided eggs.. Paid Rm 100 for 2 pax
- As (10/5): Must be fit to climb uphill. - Tent experience. The uphill climb. Must pre warned guys about the climb. Elderly not suitable to stay here.
- Law (7/5): Good experience, nice and fun. - The environment is nice. The facilities are ok. Maybe sufficient slippers can be provided based on amount of guest according to booking.
Maybe a simple breakfast can be supplied.
- Marco (8/5): Very good -
- Nursyaza (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- Kirsten (8/5): A nice introduction to camping for my kids in cool temperature. - Offered a gentle camping experience, rather than glamorous! Mattress was comfortable and my children (aged 4 and 6) enjoyed it. Enough cooking facilities to make it easy to eat and warm showers. Staff were friendly. The steps going up and down are steep. When wet, they are a little slippery and could be dangerous. Fine for us, but anyone unsteady on their feet would have a problem.
Woken up at 5.50am with the call to prayer - very loud. Again, not so bad for us as we are early risers, but might be off putting for some.
Lots and lots of mosquitoes. Bug spray is a MUST!
- Nasrul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathi (10/5): Exceptional - I like the environment Toilet
- Ek (7/5): Good - Good viewing , provide the cooking set at share kitchen. It was climbing up not suitable for an elderly family .
- Grace (8/5): Very good -
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional - This was an amazing place to stay and extremely unique compared to hotels around! A beautiful step into nature. Every inch of this suite has been considered with nature and beauty in mind. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay and we had the most lovely time staying here. Shout out to jahar who really made the stay and our half day tour really special.
- Gilles (9/5): Superb -
- Andreas (9/5): Superb - Our tour with Cha at Backward Glamping was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt at home right away. Cha really put a lot of effort into making sure we had a great time. He is not only very professional but also shows a genuine passion for his job. You can tell that he enjoys what he does, and that made our experience even more special. It was a wonderful tour, and Cha gave us many interesting insights. The stay was definitely worth it, and we would absolutely come back. Thank you, Cha, for the amazing time!
- Lee (10/5): Great and will come again next time - Super good environment
The facilities are great
The view is very nice and relax
I love the parts that have a lots of plants
Use every little corner well I didn like the cat as they are trying to enter the tent
The cat find food by knocking down the dustbin make the rubbish spread everywhere
And there’s too much of cat
