Guest Reviews
- Robert (10/5): - The host Leonard is extremely helpful and accommodating.

- Margaret (7/5): Great location, lovely town - Location was great. Good looking house. Facilities clean. Sight seeing was great. The single shower. No written instructions on how to use it. If not from Europe it is not intuitive.
- Tish (9/5): Very comfortable and would def come back - Loved the location easy access to beach and surrounding villages
- Audrey (8/5): Great place to stay - Very clean and great location. Would definitely stay again. Great communication from host and easy access to house. Nothing
- Sinead (8/5): Excellent located three bedroom with large communal area. - The location of the house in relation to Rosscarbery is excellent. 4mins up a short but steep hill to shops, a fantastic cafe, pubs, takeaways etc. Warren Strand, a gorgeous beach, is only around 1 km away.
The lay out of the house is great, a large sitting room attached to a generous kitchen by double doors which is really handy if travelling with children. The kitchen also has patio doors out to the garden. The shower, washing machine, cooker, fridge and freezer etc were all in good working order and clean. There is a dishwasher but we didn’t use it. We were there for a week and it was very functional for cooking etc. There is also a downstairs toilet which is handy and outdoor furniture in the garden. Leonard was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and had everything you might need.
The location is excellent if travelling around West Cork. Rosscarbery is very central. Clonakilty, Glandore and Union Hall are nearby and there are some beautiful beaches and walks. I would highly recommend the restaurant/bar in Glandore, Hayes’ Bar. The food and the views are phenomenal. The mattress in my room needs updating, it was quite uncomfortable.
One of the bedrooms upstairs smelled of damp the first night but 24 hours of open windows sorted that.
- David (9/5): Lovely house in a great location - Great location close to Rosscarbery town centre and short drive to local beeches. House was very clean and comfortable. Lovely garden. Host was very helpful and accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay in The Cobbler. Steep hill up to the town centre.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect. Easy to find and very close to the village centre. The house had all the mod cons and a nice little area for our daughter to run around in.
