Guest Reviews
- Anne (7/5): - We missed a cafetière or some way to make coffee.
- Robert (9/5): - Good location, good size and well equipped property. Everything clean and recently fitted/decorated. Few snacks left which was nice touch. Good value for money. Parking was very tight - didn’t matter as there were instructions on where to find alternative parking which was easy. Heating was ok but not able to control.

- Awaatief (10/5): The area., the hosts, the facilities were perfect. - The location was perfect. It was self-catering. Many shops in the area were closed. We loved the silence. We had the whole place almost to ourselves.
The hosts were honest, sincere, down-to-earth people.
They are the pixie dust for the visit.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -

- Sheila (9/5): A little gem in the heart of Wells-next-the-sea with so much to do easily accessible nearby. - What a little gem! Tucked away in the centre of Wells-next-the-sea this delightful little holiday home was excellent for my three night break. It was clean and comfortable, checkin/checkout was easy, it had all the facilities I needed and although in the centre of buzzing Wells, it was tucked away and I found very quiet. Who wouldn’t love to sit with a cup of tea in the loft lookout! Hard to find anything.
Parking could have been tricky, but once I got there I managed to find a space and walked and cycled, leaving the car there. Especially considering it was mid August it wasn’t a problem for me.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Wonderful place and has absolutely everything you would need. - The place was most beautifully equipped, and very quiet indeed. It has pretty much everything you need, and the space is planned so tremendously well – there’s an upstairs area for you to sit and drink and look out at the sea, and the place is quiet as it is detached, so no noise from anywhere else. And the information provided was brilliant, as it allowed us to book 2 really nice restaurants, which we wouldn’t have thought about until we got there and that would’ve been too late. Absolutely nothing – we had bought some USBs with us in order to watch films, but the TV doesn’t take those. However, to be honest, that just meant we could do something more constructive in what is a lovely seaside town. Wi-Fi is great although for some reason it switches off at night – which is a slight problem as I was wanting to make a medical appointment – but still managed to anyway during the day.
- Samantha (9/5): A short trip to Wells. The apartment was perfect for our requirements. Avril made the whole process very easy - A well appointed clean and comfortable apartment in central Wells. Good facilities
- Cheryl (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (9/5): Very enjoyable 😉 - Location great. Free Parking could be a problem in summer While there was a very large TV it seemed to be quite old. Could do with an upgrade to smart TV
- David (8/5): Delightful apartment close to the quayside - Location is great, just a very short walk to the quayside in Wells. There is a sea view from the mezzanine lounge. It’s a lovely cosy apartment for a couple. The stairs to the mezzanine level are steep and parking without someone to guide you in would be challenging. Avril, the host, responded quickly to a couple of queries we had.
- Wendy (10/5): Absolutely fabulous lodge, thoroughly enjoyed the stay! - Loved everything about this place, very stylish & modern, had a fantastic stay for 3 nights. Avril & Simon very lovely and welcoming and I will be recommending to friends. There was nothing not to like
- Alexandra (8/5): Very good - The instructions for finding the property were long and complicated. The parking space is not suitable for an estate car.
- Kirby (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely comfortable apartment, a couple of minutes walk from the quay.
- Freeman (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in a great location in the pretty seaside town. The decor is very stylish and planned to make great use of the space.
- David (10/5): Excellent, so glad we found this hidden gem - Excellent compact apartment close to the harbour. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped to suit all our needs for a 4 night stay. There were plenty of eateries, shops and pub within a 5 minute walk and also boat trips.
We had good friendly communications with Avril and Si the owners who would help in anyway.
We honestly couldn`t fault the place. Nothing, How can you beat 10 / 10
- Lisa (10/5): We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was so comfortable & perfect! - It was self-catering so no breakfast provided
Location was excellent! Close to all amenities There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing I could think of to improve our stay would be bigger mugs to have a bigger cuppa in the mornings :-) xx
- Robin (8/5): Nice modern apartment -
- Dawn (10/5): Wonderful - Well situated, accommodation very clean, warm and tidy. Avril was very welcoming and the snacks and Prosecco was lovely touch.
The apartment had everything we could need for cooking.
- Paul (10/5): Lovely place to stay, great location with parking. Perfect for our needs, nice little touches including a bottle of Pros - Lovely property, fitted to a good modern finish.
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - Ideally situated for the Harbour ,Beach and Local Restaurants..
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Great location within a couple of minutes walk of the quay. Exceptionally clean and beautifully presented apartment. Would stay again - the prosecco was a nice touch.
- Konrad (7/5): Good - Great location with parking Settee not very comfy. Bed with mattress protector made me sweat even with heating off and window open.
- Simon (10/5): If I was ever back in Wells next Sea it would be our first choice - The apartment has been very tastefully renovated, for example having a porthole from a ship in the bathroom. Everything was very clean and well set out. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with, particularly given it was very short notice and Christmas Eve
- Brian (8/5): Very good - Inability to turn heating down rather than just off!
- Jo (7/5): Good -
- Ian (10/5): Fabulous and beautifully appointed apartment - Location perfect… Nothing

- Fiona (8/5): A great place for us to stay in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea. - A beautifully created apartment in an excellent location. Avril welcomed us when we arrived, which was a lovely personal touch. We would have liked a couple of extra mugs for tea please. The arrival instructions could be more concise.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - A modern unique Property with Vaulted Ceiling and Mezzanine with views of Wells Harbour. Free parking available and great location to explore the Norfolk Coast .
- Enid (10/5): Will definenlty be rebooking in the nearer future great little getaway retreat - Location was perfect 2 min walk into town
Accommodation has been finished off really well loved all the fixtures and fittings particularly loved the viewing area upstairs with the two chairs great to have morning coffee or chilling lookout in afternoon
