Guest Reviews
- ileana (10/5): Famiglia, relax e natura - Posto incantevole immerso nella natura.
Pulizia ottima, cucina servita di tutto il necessario, doccia comoda ed acqua calda.
Come sentirsi a casa.
- Georgina (8/5): Bank Holiday Stay, Epic Price - The cabin is in an excellent location, it's in the camping field but it was so peaceful & quiet. Great for stargazing too!
The cabin was clean & tidy, and the facilities were good. (Full kitchen set up etc.) We did have an issue with the hot water in the shower but contacted the owners who offered some advice. The owners were great with communication also. Arriving was easy, access easy and also we had a bottle of cava and some local jam & honey on arrival.
The beds were really comfy too. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking area and around the fire pit.
There was also WiFi, which was great as we all had to do work whilst we were away, but the connectivity was solid. All in all a great stay, excellent value for money & definitely will be returning. As mentioned above, a little issue with the hot water in the shower but I contacted the owners who offered advice and also should there not be hot water in the shower, there is the communal showers down the end of the campsite which when I had a quick looked was really clean & tidy.
- Charlotte (5/5): Simple, a place to rest our heads. - The location was lovely, really close to diggerland which is why we made the journey.
The little chicken roaming made our morning. The accommodation smelt overwhelmingly of mould. Very musty. We later on found mould in the bathroom and main bedroom. We placed the air humidifier on that was provided and after 2 nights of staying it was full to the brim. We had to go to the local shop (Tescos) and get some “Oust” as it was so unpleasantly smelling even with windows open.
The cooker was clicking but no ignition. It was fairly clean but as previous reviews have stated - lots of moths, spiders etc but understandable as windows HAD to be opened.
We had 2 emails in the space of less than 2hrs to remind us that we had to “clean” before we left and these were sent the day before which we found abit too much.
As to prior reviews - we didn’t contact the hosts as they live next door (they make it very clear), because their responses seemed very hostile, abrupt and defensive. We had 2 small children and didn’t feel confrontation was something that was needed.
- John (8/5): - It was a lovely quiet location within easy reach of M5 & surrounding areas Nothing
- Monika (9/5): Lovely stay perfect for families! - Lovely clean cabin in a gated camping ground with a lovely spacious green field for the kids to play, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Owners were available for help with anything when required.
- Don (8/5): Excellent facilities in a good quiet location. - Lovely location
Good facilities
The arrival gift was most welcome. Having to use the combination lock every time you arrived or departed the property.
Having to walk along the roads to access the local towns/pubs etc. It would have been good if there had been walking tracks to access local areas away from roads
- Crouch (10/5): Lovely little family run campsite with a few cabins for those of us who like home comforts whilst still enjoying the fre - Location was perfect
Warm and welcoming
Hosts were really kind helpful and friendly Nothing to dislike
- Muzik (8/5): Very good -

- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (6/5): Good value cabin, convenient and peaceful location. - Very convenient and quiet location, close to the motorway. Very good price for a short stay. Warm and cosy. Enjoyed the fire pit. The cabin would be perfect for two adults with children. However, it felt a little small for four adults but was fine for our 2 night stay.
- Kieran (7/5): Good - Keys was waiting Quite a lot of cobwebs and a bat inside flying round 😅
- Bethany (10/5): Amazing - Love the BBQ & fire pit are a great feature to have included
- Allie (10/5): Great location with plenty of space, inside and outside. - Spacious and clean
- Cristiano (10/5): Exceptional - Is a very beautiful place in the nature, the cabin is very beautiful and with all services, we have been very well!
- Michelle (3/5): Below average unfortunately - The location is quiet and peaceful The caravan needs a thorough clean as it smelt of stale tobacco and some bedding and accessories need updating
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Stroud (8/5): Very good - Easy to find, close to amenities. Lovely little site.
Had chickens!
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (8/5): Really nice time at a quiet and convenient location. - The location was really good, it was a nice quiet site in a good location. The local town of Cullompton was very handy and has a couple of supermarkets. The cabin was well kept. We had an issue with the boiler the first day but it was quickly rectified and the host was very helpful and pleasant. Not much walkway space in the double bedroom but other than that it was great value for money.
- Avio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Howe (10/5): Comfortable cabin
Spacious nice decking great for couples and families. - The owner was very helpful . The cabin was clean, comfortable, and spacious for the kids . The shower was amazing, very powerful , and good WiFi . Lovely welcoming gift and plenty of games and films for the kids .
Definitely stay again No egg flipper and the weather as it rained the whole time so we couldn't use the bbq
- Tristian (9/5): A great location and lovely cabin. - The cabin was lovely and cosy in a great location with everything you needed provided.
The cabin was spotless clean and the welcome basket was a great addition.
- Phlip (8/5): Very good -
- Leanne (9/5): Lovely cabin value for money - Location was lovely and private. Nothing the hosts that can help, road noise was unexpected.
- Kelly (10/5): Beautiful view and location. Had everything we needed. - Had everything we needed. Towels could have been bigger
- Hongri (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to find location by the map, and quick response and nice host.
- Taroni (8/5): Great for a couple days stay, comfortable cabin, friendly hosts, nice peaceful site, value for money - Comfortable cabin with everything we needed. Good choice of games as there was no TV service. Warm and cosy. The floors had not been fully swept/vacuumed and there was quite a few bits in the entrance, main cabin and bathroom
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Leanne (3/5): Balmoral cabin - The campsite was small and quiet id probably recommend for camping. I didn't go into the camping facilities so i can't comment on what they were like. Communication from the host was quick with good instruction. The cabin was dirty and very tired. I stripped the bed as requested at the end of our stay and i really wish i hadn't ,the mattress and mattress protector were disgusting. Thankfully we were only there 2 nights and were moving on. £105 per night is a rip off the caravan we moved on to was £85per night and was spotless
- Fiona (8/5): A good spot for crashing when spending time outside and exploring - The size of the caravan was spot on for what you'd expect. The best bit in my opinion was the bench out front plus the private/enclosed grass area with another bench and then the field where all the children gathered to play ball and more. The hosts were in touch with us about the bed/cot situation and were most helpful. The kitchen facilities were good and well functioning The shower was a bit tricky as it was either super hot or not warm, fine for adults but not small children. I would suggest a bucket or washing in the sink.
- Chelsey (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous views and cabin. Really peaceful and quiet. Owners were so accommodating and friendly
- Gavin (9/5): Good value option in quiet location - Nice quiet location but still close to Exeter. We stayed while travelling down from the north east for our son to visit open days at Exeter university Not unexpected due to the long period of unusually hot weather but because they it’s a mobile home it was very hot inside
- Rawad (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): Great - Na All good
- Emily (6/5): Friendly and helpful host! - The host was lovely and helpful, there when needed and left us some fresh eggs, wine and apple juice Could have done with a hoover to clean up rather than just a brush
- Gemma (10/5): comfortable, clean stay, would stay again - Close location to where i was working
