• Anthony (10/5): A great place to stay, I look forward to returning. - The apartment is very spacious, a large kitchen/living space. Breakfast bar, large TV, very comfortable couch. Split air con is very efficient and quiet. Good size fridge/freezer. Gas cooker. Large frying pan, family size pan and 2 smaller pans. Rice cooker, water heater. A good selection of cutlery, and cups/plates. The cr is a decent size. 2 bedrooms, both with air con. Storage cabinets in both rooms. Bedside cabinets. Outdoor area for washing clothes (no washing machine). There is no undercover area to hang washing. Not normally a problem but we were there in the rainy season.

• Moni-k (10/5): Pleasant worcation experience in Valencia - We originally contacted Maricar through Airbnb, but decided to book through Booking with the additional Genius discount. She was very patient in answering our many questions prior to booking :) Hassle free key collection as she lives with her family on the property in a separate house. Her relatives were always ready to help and advise on what to visit in the area. We were looking for a spacious property where we could work in shifts from the garden, terrace and inside the house. The internet worked well for meetings on camera, it was very fast. The site is located just a few minutes from a number of restaurants, attractions such as the waterfalls and Red Rock Hot Spring, as well as the town of Dumaguete (easily accessible by jeepney near 7Eleven). An additional plus was the fully equipped kitchen. Without a problem we got back the deposit of 5 thousand Cleaning, change of bed linen and towels takes place twice a week, Saturday and Monday. I understand that the days of the week depend on the availability of the cleaning staff, however I think that a more ecological approach is to do e.g. Wednesday and Saturday :) Nothing on which the owners have influence, however, you have to be prepared that due to proximity of a farm with roosters, you fall into rhythm of a wake-up call e.g. at 4 o'clock in the morning with a concert for many rooster throats.
