• Rueschdi (10/5): - Host was extremely accommodating, based on how last minute the booking was. Very polite host! The apartment had everything, the espresso machine was a nice touch. And the view is mesmerising and calming! No shortage of crockery or cutlery... There is washing machine, never used it but it certainly is useful to have for longer term stays.

• Gail-S (7/5): Cape Town Gardens - Convenient location The check in at 2pm is quite late and there is a bit of a wait to meet the owner with the key. Also a bit difficult leaving the key in the postbox as it's before the access gate which means once you have dropped the key in the postbox you can't exit - I had to ask someone inside the gate to drop the key in the postbox for me.

Very close to kloof street, where there are lots of great restaurants. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. • Diana (8/5): City Bowl sanctuary - Location great & handy with shops right there. Welcoming host Desiré with helpful tips. Parking available too Southeaster wind, which is hectic, whipped around building on a couple of nights and I couldn't sleep. But that was to do with nature not studio!

• Debbie (6/5): Adequate accommodation - A small apartment with an incredible view Bed is very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The wind on one of the nights rattled the one window (which needs attention) making it hard to sleep. The blinds do not lift which impeded am amazing view.

The floor on the lifts got me very confused lol but nothing major...perhaps an extra blanket, throw over for the sleep couch would be nice touch

• Mathebe (10/5): Great Stay - I booked the place for my Two Oceans Marathon. I arrived on the 2/4/2025 and requested an early check-in as my flight arrived around 12:00, and check-in was at 14:00. The host happily agreed. When I got to the Gardens Holiday Apartments, I phoned my host, who promptly responded and came down to meet me. The apartment is on the 15th floor. She took me to the apartment and explained how some of the appliances work and indicated that I could call her should I need any assistance. The apartment is exactly as shown on the website, and it has everything that you need. The bathroom has a bath-shower combination ( they're not separated). The bed was a little bit hard for me as I am used to a softer one. The TV is huge, my daughter enjoyed it. In fact she raved about the apartment to her friends. A beautiful view of Cape Town from the apartment window, you can actually see the Devil's peak from the window. The apartment is in the Gardens Shopping Centre and you can easily access shops like Woolworths Food, Pick n Pay, Clicks, Vida e Caffè etc and banks as well. The host was very friendly, and we had a great chat on the 7th before I left, like we have known each other for ages. This was when she allowed me to check out late as my flight was at around 17:00 and check- out was 11:00. I checked-out at 13:00. Thank you Desiree. • Robert (10/5): Homely apartment with everything you need - the owner easy to contact and very responsive. - Excellent location above a shopping centre - magnificent views of the mountain and easy to get around. Very homely feel and fully equipped. Bonus is that if the power goes off the internet stays on working. Bath and shower. Washing machine and a MASSIVE TV great to watch movies on. Very safe and secure. It was all good

• Casey (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely flat, perfect for what I needed as a solo traveller needing to be close to the hospital. The owner was friendly and helpful and very quick to communicate which was appreciated. The location was great and very secure. Handy having the shops right downstairs for needing to buy groceries or grab a cup of coffee. The property itself was very nice. With the high winds in Cape Town it did get quite loud with the wind blowing through (it was on the 15th floor). That’s just the nature of Cape Town though.
