Receptionist Lulu could be rude, invasive & immature - as a former long staying tenant I was told - so it’s not as if she’s better than other people living here. Not at all renovated or updated to modern standards. Costs no less than a clean luxury hostel nearby. Although there is supposed to be an age restriction of 35 there are definitely older people living here permanently up to 4 or 5 years continuously who have taken over as if it was their own home, acting quite territorial

- Eric (7/5): - Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigener Dusche. Somit akzeptable Möglichkeit zu übernachten. Das Haus ist eher für jugentliche Reisende mit kleinem Buget. Die Lage war super. Frühstück musste man selber machen. War aber nicht ganz klar, was vom Haus gestellt wird oder was den vielen anderen Gästen gehört, die hier untergebracht sind.

And they use the elevator as a storage room. Supposed to be breakfast included But I never saw breakfast. in the shower room i can't wash my my face Because The sink is so narrow And you need to sit side on the toilet. Nothing is to be liked And there were some of these in the room; I'll send you a picture below.

Ventilatore in camera pressoché inutile… letti se così li possiamo chiamare, con un materassino di spugna di 5 centimetri appoggiato su una lamiera (agghiacciante!) Le uniche prese di corrente disponibili erano due prolunghe arrotolate alla struttura del letto…. Nessun comodino Nessun armadio Veramente allucinante… Non so come fa ad essere legale e stare aperto un posto del genere

El colchón fue muy cómodo de hecho y en general las instalaciones son perfectas para pasar 1 noche. La recepción fue muy amable No puedo decir que no me gustó algo, simplemente era barato y creería que no se puede esperar algo muy wow. La verdad es muy funcional y ayuda al bolsillo.

- Ella (3/5): Bra läge men fruktansvärt boende - Läget är väldigt bra! Det var extremt smutsigt överallt, i de allmänna områdena men främst köket, det var så vidrigt!! Luktade äckligt och låg skräp överallt, samt att ingen diskade efter sig. Även fast personalen sa att de skulle städa vårat rum varje dag hände det inte en enda gång på våran 8 nätters vistelse. Sen hade vi ingen Ac heller, och när det är 30 grader värme o man har varit på stranden hela dagen var det fruktansvärt att sova och gick knappt att somna. Fruktansvärt!

- Rowan (2/5): Do not stay at this dumpster fire! - Location, friendly staff. Price Where to start! If you value your life, do not stay here. This place is a genuine fire and health hazard. After working the stair maze (as the lift is not usable and just a storeroom); you will have your room. Room: untidy, dirty, electrics faulty, beds made of tin and rattle. Once you get past the bed bugs and cockroaches, there’s cords running all directions power boards on more boards. The fans were rusted, no AC, no mosquito nets on windows. Bathroom: so dirty, I just walk across the road the public bathroom to number 2, no way was I touching it. No soaps, doors don’t lock, used and bloody bandaids to great you at the door. Common room/kitchen, furniture order then manly itself. The kitchen was such a mess I just didn’t bother. Food hygiene was clearly not a priority, raw chicken left out, dishes everywhere, counters, fridges and storage just packed with crap. Rooftop: so disgusting, tread lightly, or avoid, no view either. 1000s of cigarette butts on roof, drainage areas, bins etc. this place has had no love since Colonisation. Fire exits: in the high likelihood of a fire, don’t use the emergency exits, they all blocked, be prepared to jump balconies to the bar next door. People: this people attracts all sorts of people from the back packers needing cheap to the crazies that make this place unwelcoming. This place needs a good demolition and a reset asap. Do not stay here!

- Peter (8/5): Really enjoyed it. - Breakfast was adequate, staff friendly, great location, basics were good. Too hot in our room 102. Fans didn't work well and we had to leave the door open which meant we couldn't sleep because of the noise outside! TV didn't work as WiFi was down for the 3 nights we were there.

We were in a double room in 41 degrees with no air con and an extractor fan outside of our window that blew hot air straight in. It’s a backpackers so expectations were low. Room had an odour of wet/stale deodorant. Floor needed vacuum and wash. Fan and light fittings were never dusted. Old food discarded on top of wardrobe not removed. Dust in extractor in bathroom never cleaned. Sand in the shower. Old bandaids caught under bathroom door. Bits of toilet paper stuck to the tiles under the bathroom sink. Floor in bathroom never mopped.

- Bruce (9/5): Private room in a great location. - Small but comfortable room with private facilities in the heart of Manly. Lovely, helpful staff. Parking was not easy. Bit of a rambling building and the free continental was difficult to work out.

Bed was comfy & had an en-suite room. In need of an update in some areas. I believe they have new management & this is in progress. Other guests let doors bang early hours of the morning 😒

- Nathalie (8/5): Wonderful people accommodating other lovely people to have an amazing Manly-experience - It‘s an amazing location and all the staff was really helpful and friendly and the guests were also really easygoing and fun which also says something about the accommodation! The rooms were small but all in all exactly what they were made for -to go to sleep The little balcony with the direct view to the sea is amazing and the cacdous that come in for food so much fun… When you wanna chill,you‘ll find a quiet spot on the rooftop - unfortunately no view from there! The Room was a bit dirty when I first arrived but after a quick vrooming;it was all good! Once the milk was out and there was none available all morning.

- Carol (7/5): A good stay at a backpackers with friendly helpful staff - Manly is a great location, the bedroom was a decent size, the bed was pretty comfy, and the bathroom adequate with a good shower. It was mostly quiet on the night we stayed. The check-in experience was easy and the man who checked us in was informative. The woman at reception in the morning, Lou, was extremely friendly and helpful. After an unexpected incident during the night which meant the usual breakfast supplies were not topped up, she went out immediately on us requesting bread and coffee to purchase those. There was no type of milk supplied for the tea and coffee in the room. Some fruit with breakfast would have been nice but maybe that is normally there.

- Cindy (9/5): Layed back, relaxed, warm and welcoming :) - They offer free surfboard use, have a communal guitar and longboard (skateboard) to use during your stay!! The lounge area is a very social and everyone on long stay is extremely friendly!
- Kelvin (1/5): Terrible experience. Don’t waste your money or ruin your stay in Manly. - Location to beach and main mall was only positive. The noise from other residents all night until 5am and the pub downstairs. Cleanliness was unaccceptable. Never again would We stay there. Not worth the money or experience.

- James (8/5): Convenient and confortable great value accomodation - The hostel is centrally located between the Ferries and beach. We had a double room with ensuite which was a decent size and very comfortable. We were surprised to discover the wonderful roof top terrace, and found that the shared kitchen and common room made for a warm friendly atmosphere.

- Lena (6/5): - Es hat eine wirklich sehr gute Lage, 2min zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt, waren sehr coole Leute dort und man hatte Möglichkeiten zu chillen weil es dort einen großen Raum gibt mit vielen Sofas. Lulu die Rezeptionistin war sehr nett:)) Es war ziemlich schmutzig, die Matratze hatte braune Flecken, das Bad war auch relativ schmutzig und generell merkt man, dass es Dreck ist, das schon länger dort ist. Das inklusive Frühstück war sehr billig mit Toast, Nutella oder Erdnussbutter.

- Sophie emmanuelle (7/5): Necesita limpieza - Personal muy simpático ! Justo al frente de playa, cerca de todas las boutiques! Sucio, no limpian, no hay privacidad. Ascensor no funciona para subir a las demás habitaciones.
