Guest Reviews
- Araújo (10/5): Good stay, great location and value for money. - I really liked the location, it's great and makes getting around very easy. The apartment is comfortable and well organized. I have no negative points to highlight.
- Tyrah (7/5): Good stay but some things to improve on - It was clean & tidy A few things in the property to be fixed which aren’t included on photos, e.g. tiling in the bathroom and faulty toilet seat. Also no tea/coffee/kitchen tissue or a few things that would be a nice or considerate touch
- Veselin (2/5): Don't Recommend - the location was near a metro station There was no hot water and the radiators were not working. the cabinets in the kitchen have barely hanging doors. one of the bathrooms was moldy. the other one was leaking from the shower. toilet seats were not screwed tight. the house rules sheet was retabed with reused tape that was clearly on the floor before(it was full of hairs on it)
- Federico (7/5): -
- Clare (4/5): - The accommodation was in a great position, close to the tube, shops, and restaurants. The owner of the accommodation didn't send the check in information until I called him, then we couldn't get the key as the cleaner was still in there, so had to wait 20 minutes for the key before we could get in. The smoke alarm was beeping, when we asked for it to be sorted we were told to turn it off at the electric and remove the battery.
- Shanon (2/5): Terrible - Not worth saving the money - Bed was okay. It was cheap-ish. Didn't receive the instructions for how to check in until 5:15 (check-in was meant to be at 3pm). Most facilities broken, blinds mouldy, cigarette burn mark in the sofa. Had to find the router to turn the Wifi on as that had been turned off at the plug. The fire alarm, which said it should've been checked by November 2024 (I stayed in September 2025) started beeping before 6am because the battery was dead and could not be opened without a screwdriver (not present).
- Graham (4/5): Ok - Location was good Shower only put out hot water. Bare light bulbs don’t make a room pretty
- Guest (10/5): - Hall and kitchen
- Maame Gyamfua (10/5): - The host was very understanding and receptive so everything was really good. Nothing to be fair
- Finlay (9/5): - Great location and comfortable apartment. Ideal for central London stays
- AlliN69 (6/5): Very Disappointed - Location was good for the nearest Tube station. Costa coffee a few hundred yards away No instructions for check in. Room not ready in time, not very clean. Outdoor mats inside the bathroom, broken windows, missing blinds, flooring taped, not enough cutlery (no teaspoons at all). Dirty mop and bucket left in bathroom, not been dusted in so long. Dryer out on a 9h circle. Was disappointed. Sofa not the same as one in the pictures. These things were mentioned in a previous review but still not rectified.
- Frutos Arroyo (1/5): Asquerosamente sucio - Estaba realmente sucio. El sofá no es el de las fotos y es probable que haya cogido chinches del sitio.
- Jeff (3/5): Shocking actually .. only two of us went in the end and we will not be back. - Location Unclean generally showers broken, taps broken, toilet seats broken, plumbing noisy, windows broken, tiles loose filthy bathroom and floors generally .. dirty pillows, fridge dirty
- Roymond (7/5): Good experience good location - Very clean good facilities good location No tv
- Syed Raza (10/5): - The apartment was spotless on arrival. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were spacious enough to feel calm and inviting.
The hosts kept in touch throughout the stay, providing clear step-by-step instructions and useful photos that made everything easy. Both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.
The property’s location was ideal — only a short walk to the underground, making it simple to travel around the city. Having a late-opening supermarket right next door, along with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops, made everyday needs effortless.
Facilities worked perfectly: strong water pressure, a reliable combi boiler, and a fully functioning kettle. Overall, an excellent choice for a London visit and fantastic value for money.
- Catherine Griggs (5/5): Needs improvement, not as nice as photos - Location was ideal for what we needed and checkin was easy once received self check in details Sofa was completely different. Flooring taped down in dining space, missing blind in lounge and one broken in main bedroom. Not enough cutlery provided for 5 people. Whole toilet seat off in ensuite had to put the seat on ourselves, so not sitting on the basin.Shower and sink in ensuite in disrepair and outdoor mats used as bathroom mats! Water doesn't pour straight out the tap in kitchen. WiFi unreliable. Entrance to property very messy and untidy. The whole property needed a good deep clean.
Was sent details on how to checkout, but had to chase for details on how to check in.
- Guest (2/5): DO NOT BOOK! - The only positive was the location The flat was in complete disrepair!
Shower in the main bathroom leaked all over the floor in the main bathroom. A mop, which was provided, was black with grime and dirt.
En-suite shower was not useable due to the shower tray being badly cracked.Any weight put on it resulted in it bowing further to the point of breaking completely.
Sink was also badly cracked.
Toilet was in useable due to the seat being broken.
The main part of the flat was fairly clean but the windows and blinds were covered in mold.
Overall, the accommodation was the worst i’ve experienced of my life I’m not sure how they get away with adverting stays here. Could be made nice, but nothing like the photos Its a ruin. DO NOT BOOK!
- Vikki (3/5): Disappointing place to stay and not up to the standard the photos imply - Distance to central london The fact the photos used on line were nothing like the actual property. Felt like false advertising.
Electrical wires hanging out, mould and just general shoddiness
- Stevenson (8/5): Very good - Spacious appartment, It was nice just to sit with a coffee by the windows and watch all the hussle & bustle go by. Close to stockwell tube station, shops , restaurants and cafés on hand. A really good base to get around the city from. It would have been good to have a TV to watch at the end of the day, but it wouldn't deter us from staying again. A little noisy as it's on a main city road and we couldnt get the windows to shut properly, however we still managed to get to sleep.
- Ewelina (6/5): Location!!! - Location!!!! Strange people on the street !
- Winna (7/5): Good -
- Nick (5/5): Way over priced for a shabby apartment that looks unloved and unkept. - It was a central location It is very run down and dirty. No tv. Windows and blinds that are of poor maintenance. One blind missing. Bathroom very poor. Old mop and bucket in main bathroom because you can’t avoid flooding the floor. En-suite bathroom shower has no cold ! It will not go cold on temp tap, only very warm or hot. I apologise to potential guests for not taking pics but I was just too devastated after paying £555 for two nights. Absolutely awful.
- Harvey (7/5): Did exactly what I needed for one night stay. Tad awkward to find but overall had a good stay. Host was very helpful. - Very good value for money Not exactly like the photos
- Terry (5/5): It was ok for the night - No TV steep stairs very noisy neighbours and delivery motorbikes
- Joswel (7/5): Good -
- Edith (3/5): Poor - The image on the advert is a far cry from how the flat is. The area where the keys are collected smelt of urine, the entrance to the flats - downstairs was dirty and going up narrow dirty stairs. The hallway to the flat was quiet eerie. The flat has mismatching furniture in the living area, which is very uncomfortable. Nothing looks like the photo on the advert. No television. Tap at the sink spouts water. The beds were very uncomfortable with stained duvet covers that were not the right size for the beds. There was a mop in one of the bathrooms that was so dirty it had lost its colour. The road noise made it impossible to sleep, could not sleep for the two nights. The shower in the ensuite gets from cold to extremely hot in 2 minutes and becomes unusable.
This flat is not in a good area and the whole experience was not good. I could not wait to get out of there, definitely not value for money. Most of all the photos on the advert are deceiving, they are not what the flat looks like.
- Flloyd (8/5): Comfortable, convenient, good value for money. - Close to the tube, very comfy beds. WiFi password didn't work.
- Emma (10/5): Great and no complaints here. - The boat sent pictures to show where to collect keys and where the front door is. We also got the info in good time before check in.
We read some
Reviews that it was not clean we did not find this to be true at all. It was clean.
It was warm,
hot water worked.
Beds were comfy.
Location great with a good selection of shops near by and the train station.
It was slightly different to what the pictures advertise but that wasn’t the end of the word.
There is no tv but again that’s ok.
A few bits of damage around but this isn’t the end of the world and didn’t affect our stay or comfort. But I always find it a worry as you never know if you will get the blame. We didn’t but I will say document and report anything you see or find.
We just needed a place to stay while we attended the theatre and Harry Potter world so
It was ideal. We have no complaints with this property It could be improved by adding a travel cot.
- Malik (10/5): Convenient and comfortable. - The flat was clean. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were a good size, providing a relaxing and restful environment.
Communication from the hosts was excellent throughout. The instructions were detailed, the clear messaging and helpful photos made everything straightforward. Check-in and check-out were both simple and smooth.
The location was just convenient. Steps from the underground station, which made getting around really easy. Having a supermarket next door that stays open late, along with nearby shops and restaurants, added great convenience.
The water pressure was solid, the combi boiler worked as it should, and the kettle was in good working order. Overall, great value for a stay in London.
- Deirdre (2/5): Very poor - Looks nothing like the picture, different couch part garden furniture for the dining table and other furniture very deceiving. No television, sheets stains on my daughters bed. Lighting very poor bulbs missing or not replaced. Onsuite bathroom one light only and not very clean. Overall noisey from traffic, walls could be washed and basically not a good place. Never again.
- Brian (9/5): Great overnight location - Excellent location, perfect size for us, great value for money Very little. A couple of lightbulbs needed replacing.
- Danesh (8/5): Very good -
- Vishal (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - Bathroom was mouldy
Poor windows Very cold
Tried to committed with the land lord heating and water cold. Would not answer my phone call or texts to help
- Dorathy (10/5): Short walk from stockwell station so is a great location in that sense. Host responds quickly and is very helpful. - Private bathroom inside of bedroom. That there is not a tv.
- Danesh (10/5): Stockwell, well, well. .. - I had a pleasant stay in this two-bedroom apartment. The space was clean, cozy, and well-located, making it a great choice for a short or long visit.
The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Overall, a lovely experience, and I’d be happy to stay again!
- Danesh (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (8/5): It was fine - Clean and tidy Couldn’t get the en suite shower temperature to change. Was extremely hot. So I didn’t use it
- Prajapati (5/5): Passable - Was near to the stockwell underground station. And spacious rooms. Was not value for money.. No tea or coffee provided, leaking bathroom shower, Broken Toilet roll holder. No hand towels in bathroom or kitchen. Kettle needed cleaning.
(A little suggestion a TV in the lounge would be recommended as there was no other mean of entertainment)
The Picture were saying it was am ideal place to stay but we were left unhappy..
It's an ideal location. People would prefer it at all times but the apartment need some maintenance which is much needed.
Thank you
- Owusu (2/5): Very poor -
- Risat (5/5): Passable -
- Косович (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenni (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and so clean. Was lovelu Nothing
- Jo (1/5): Poor, unfortunately - Location good for tube. Key collection straight forward. WiFi access good. Dirty, mould, tired, in need of some tlc, lick of paint, new windows that stop noise. Tumble drier in middle of lounge? No hook for shower, so could not use. Constant sirons, loud traffic, noisy guests to shops below, shouting and screaming ALL night. Very poor, am trying to get refund
- Jaydeep (1/5): Bad - Windows were broken, the blinds were broken. And it was very unhygienic.
- Santosh (1/5): Nice pics but actually dirty… - Very basic + dirty for the price paid. Dirty
- Daniel (8/5): Great location but expect no thrills - The apartment is well situated next to Stockwell underground station and easy walk to Vauxhall and Battersea. The property is no thrills but considering the cost and location it’s great.
- Colin (7/5): Good -
- Angus (9/5): Superb -
- Lee (1/5): Good location, everything else poor - Location was good Front door insecure - lock broken. Property incredibly dirty. No hot water. Plug socket in living room hanging off wall. Sofa bed not made up and no direction on where things were for it despite booking use of sofa bed.
- Lani (1/5): Convenient place, unsafe furniture and awfully non-compassionate host. - Location The furniture wasn't fit for purpose, even broke on one of us, jarring their neck and causing them serious pain for the rest of the week. Messaged the host and they tried accusing us of being violent whereas the legs of the table and chairs were warping and rusted.
- Douglas (5/5): Location suited us, and the place was clean if a little spartan (not COZY). - Messaging was clear and the photos helped a lot - as the instructions seemed convoluted / not straight-forward. Having been to the premises we can understand why care was needed
The place was clean and felt like it had been aired - not dusty. Water flow was good (although kitchen tap needs attention). Combi boiler worked. Kettle worked (cant tell you about anything else as it was not used). It doesnt look like the above picture (your header). None of the artwork is on the walls - instead a very squalid collection of prints in poorly fitting frames - gave the wrong impression. Most lights were just a bare bulb - who has all the shades? Some of the electric connections were exposed and poorly done. The sofa in the above picture has gone - and a very uncomfortable and smaller version replaces it. The 'double-glazing' was antiquated and poor. The shower was not used as it looks like it has/had damp and has been very poorly repaired. The place needs some care and TLC
- Mukudzeyi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chibueze (9/5): The place was awesome. My expectations were met accordingly - It’s neat and sizable There was no No television 🤦♂️. The kids couldn’t watch their programs
- Gennet (7/5): Good -
- Lekisha (8/5): Very good -
- Sasha (4/5): Ok for a short break - Central plenty of space comfortable bed A bit of a smell in entering the apartment shower not cleaned properly in en-suite chairs to table one is broken bigger bin needed for rubbish in kitchen or some sort of recycling
Lots of road noise at night
- Abhishek (9/5): Value for money. Location, Cleanliness is a plus. - All required essentials were available. Property was clean and cozy. Some welcome cookies and tea bags, sugar etc would have been an icing on the cake. A shower curtain in the bath tub would be helpful to avoid water coming out of the bath tub. Overall, still a great place.
- Nicholas (8/5): This was a clean, good-value option for a short stay in London. - Very convenient, close to Stockwell tube, which is on the Northern and Victoria line and just a 10 min journey into the centre of London. There were only overhead lights, no side lights, so lighting was harsh. A TV would have been nice too.
- Nathan (8/5): Nice clean place to stay for the night that was in a great location for us to go to central London easily. - Nice modern look. Good amount of space for a flat. Shower in double bedroom had poor temperature control. Shower in main bathroom wasn’t very powerful.
- Bernadeta (5/5): could be better - Nice location. Close to the metro. It wasn't very clean. We were there in February (it was cold). We had no heating and hot water.
- Jane (7/5): It was fine, nothing special but did what we needed it to. - Excellent location. Beds comfortable, decent sized rooms. Supermarket just next door, open long hours every day. Reasonable price for London. Excellent communication from hosts. No issues with hot water/door as mentioned in earlier reviews. Easy check in procedure. It’s not luxurious by any means, but it’s perfectly adequate. No television (they didn’t claim to have one, I just assumed that was standard) Kitchen lacked cooking utensils, nothing really apart from spoons. We even had to buy a bottle opener (left it there, you’re welcome!). Fine if you’re eating out or getting takeaway, but not really sufficient to cook properly.
- Naomi (1/5): Terrible experience. - We weren't provided check-in instructions, so we couldn't access the property. N/A
- Cristoltan (2/5): The host is nice , but the apartment is different from the photos! - The location is great and the host is really responsive! The reality is different from the photos! The apartment is really old and unclean! The sofa from the living room is really dirty and full of dust and stains ! The windows are really old and rusty! The front door doesn’t close well enough and you feel really unsafe! And we had problems with the heating and hot water sistem!
- Nadean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (1/5): Bad - The easiest check in No hot water or heating
