• JD (9/5): Charming city centre oasis - This apartment is instantly charming on entry. Clean, bright and charmingly decorated. It felt instantly welcoming and ready to use. Although we didn't use them, I particularly liked the playful dice! We found it to be a perfect location for us. We very much enjoyed breakfast at the nearby café 'Melt'! We were also very grateful to be able to continue to use the parking spot for a few hours after check out so that we could enjoy the city a little before we had to leave. The slight improvements I could suggest are: • Clearer step-by-step instructions for arrival. -It wasnt clear to me from the pictures sent that the entrance tunnel off the road was different from the second tunnel where the front door is, as these look almost identical to somebody unfamiliar with the property. I couldnt find the apartment door at first but thankfully there was a man gardening who could help me. -It might help if all the guidance pictures have been taken during the day. I think at least one was taken at night, which makes it harder to make sense of and orient when arriving in the daytime. -Clarifying the sequence of the pictures with perhaps some further additional arrows indicating what to look for. • Tip that the gate is opened and closed by turning and holding the key turned in the lock. • It would also benefit guests to know in advance that the entrance from the street is EXTREMELY tight and requires careful attention to lining up the car for entry, as we significantly scraped our car when attempting to manouver through the first tunnel. Just a few clarifying details that I think would help a lot 😊 Thanks!

Ha un potenziale enorme se ci fosse un po di manutenzione e una pulizia più approfondita. Bidet non funzionante e lenzuola macchiate/bucate. Un po’ di polvere in giro.

• Romano (9/5): 4 giorni a Zagabria - Posizione ottima vicino al centro, appartamento molto confortevole e ben arredato e curato, pulizia ottima in certi spazi un po' meno in altri ma alla fine ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e gentilezza dell'host, ci siamo trovati veramente bene anche a stare in casa alla sera mettere a posto il bidet e il water, alcune pulizie (esempio il cassetto delle posate)

• Wilfried (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - Zentrale Lage. Sehr ruhige Wohnung. Gut eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts. Folgendes sollte man in der Beschreibung erwähnen: Es waren leider nicht, wie angekündigt, 2 Schlafzimmer, sondern nur eines. Die zweite Schlafgelegenheit war in die Wohnküche, auf einer kleinen Galerie, integriert. Das war unser einziges Problem, weil Erwachsene da auch nicht aufrecht stehen können. Und man muss gleichzeitig schlafen gehen. Sonst alles top.

• Paul (9/5): Mooi en heerlijk appartement in de prachtige stad Zagreb - Woning was vlakbij het stadscentrum gelegen en toch totaal geen geluidsoverlast. Goede bedden, een heel mooie badkamer en mogelijkheid voor parkeren van de auto. Misschien een extra huissleutel wanneer je met meerdere volwassenen in het huis verblijft.

Not so much a dislike but something to have in mind - you will need some maneuvering to get the car into the courtyard, but nothing dramatic and again, having parking at that location is amazing
• Adele (8/5): - Excellent information regarding collecting keys. Wonderful to have free parking. The apartment is beautifully furnished. Will definitely recommend it. No body soap supplied. The roof in the loft is very low, not even a short person can stand upright in there. This room is suitable for child. The bed was not made in the loft room, although we booked the apartment for 3 people. It would have been nice to have coffee pods and a coffee machine.
• Dani (5/5): Lose - The location is great. The strict center The entrance to the yard is very narrow. I have a larger car so that was always a problem. If you rent an apartment, you need to invest something in it. The fridge and stove were old. The oven didn't work. The bidet in the bathroom was broken. There was no shower gel or shampoo. The liquid soap was watered down. All in all, bad. I will definitely not return to that apartment.

• tereza (6/5): Schöne Wohnung aber für das drumherum das Geld nicht wert - Die Lage der Wohnung ist super. Es ist trotz Stadtnähe sehr ruhig und die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man benötigt, keine Frage. Leider sind wir trotz Parkmöglichkeit am Apartment ,nicht in die Einfahrt reingekommen. Wir haben einen großen und breiten SUV ,dies hat es uns sehr schwer gemacht. Mit nem kleineren Auto ist es super. Leider mangelt es im Badezimmer extrem an Hygiene und Sauberkeit. Sehr schade,denn es wird ein stolzer Preis von 110€ Die Nacht verlangt. Der WC-Sitz-Deckel ist wohl schon länger defekt.
• Peter (9/5): Lovely - Great place to stay, we would wish to be here more than a night for sure. Central location, great atmosphere of entire apartment. Personally I loved the kids bed. And I loved it so much I had to kidnap it :) For those who are worried about parking place, yes, it's little bit tight, but semi experienced driver could easily get in. I've squeezed to the courtyard Škoda Kodiaq, what is anything but small car and still had some space for something maybe 20 cm wider

The parking space is a little bit a scam - yes, you can park inside, but the probability to scratch your car is 98%. Those 2% being profi drivers used to driving in and out of small garages.

• Gracija (10/5): Lovely and cozy. Magical flat. - Though we stayed only one night, we really enjoyed our stay. It's very quiet, super clean and easy to check in. Would definitely stay here again. Getting into the courtyard for parking was a bit tedious, as the entrance is very narrow, but having said that, having free parking in the center of the city is a huge bonus. So definitely worth the effort.

On my first day exploring, I found my way back to the apartment without any difficulty. There were shops & bakeries almost on my doorstep. Even though there were neighbours above us & close by, we were never disturbed by noise. I would stay here again if I return to Zagreb. The owner was easy to contact & was responsive. Nothing, really. Just a heads up - don't be deceived by the outside appearance of the buildings; the apartment is light & airy inside.

• Ozer (2/5): Fabulous location, but misleading listing and insulting owner - Outstanding location, but private and removed from the noise of the main street, free parking, nice size Host told us twice that the apartment has a washer and dryer. In reality, the dryer is nothing more than a drying rack that required a lot more effort than the proper dryer advertised. After I posted this honest review mentioning both good and bad parts of our stay, the owner texted me to curse me that karma should punish me for having the audacity to point out legitimate issues during our stay. I've traveled enough to know that problems can come up in even the fanciest hotels, but what differentiates them is how they respond when things go wrong. Classy places apologize and try to make it right, while cheaper places shrug and don't care. But when an owner uses profanity to insult and curse a guest, it's a sign that he doesn't know the meaning of customer service, and you should take your business elsewhere.
• Ozer (2/5): Great location, but rude owner needs to learn the meaning of customer service - Outstanding location, extremely quiet, lots of space, free parking The air condition was off when we arrived and the apartment was sweltering (thermostat read 28 C= 82 F). Host answered our questions and instructed us how to turn on A/C, but condescendingly talked down to us like we were fools. He told me the only button to push on A/C remote was the power button, then told us the next day that the fan was on minimum speed, instead of telling us right away how to make it cooler. We struggled to sleep through the muggy night, especially since the only A/C unit is high on the wall of the living room - far from the bedroom. The apartment is also FULL of random objects that don't belong there and make it feel extremely cluttered and dusty. Drawers are supposed to be empty for guests to keep things in, not full of random knick-knacks that the host can't find another place for. Note that after I posted an honest and balanced review giving both positives and negatives of the property, the owner texted me with profanity-laden curses, which I've attached to this review. Instead of apologizing for the issues that we experienced as a concerned property owner would, he showed his true colors, as you will see in his responses to any critical reviews. Hopefully your stay will go smoothly, but if it doesn't, you will be at the mercy of an owner who insults you and curses you for pointing out legitimate problems. My advice: Don't take the risk, and stay somewhere else!

• Anonymous (9/5): Lovely place in a great location! - Very cute proprerty and nicely decorated loke an open and airy cottage. Dog friendly and in a great location in the centre of Zagreb. Lovely! The only thing Ideally that would have been better is the parking. Its alot of back and forth getting out of your car unlocking the door getting in the car and so forth. Very narrow opening to the parking as well. Having lived in Zagreb for many years I totally get the parking situation in the centre of Zagreb its a great thing to even have parking for most apartments in town, but it would be much easier with a key fob/digital door opener so that you can conveniently stay in your car on a busy street to enter the tunnel and also getting out.

• Anonymous (8/5): An excellent location, a well-appointed apartment, off-street parking- a good taste of living in the city. - A mix up at the Zagreb airport pushed our anticipated arrival at the Airbnb back about two hours. Our host was very gracious to make himself (and his young family) available, in the rain, to help us not only locate our destination, but maneuver the very tight entry into the private parking area. For their patience, we remain very grateful. The dedicated parking space proved to be very valuable as parking downtown, in the rain- especially for a new visitor- posed quite a challenge.
