• Hayley (6/5): Local to town centre and did the job! - Good location, very close to the 02 where we had an event we were attending and easy walk to town centre. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off 4 x in the middle of the night which was extremely loud and disruptive, unsure why it kept happening but the host offered a late check out free of charge for the inconvenience. It was a shame there was no bath plug as it would’ve been really nice to have a bath during our stay. The WiFi also wasn’t working but fortunately we had okay signal. The flat was generally clean & tidy but we did notice a few hairs on arrival on the toilet seat and sink which was a tad off putting.

• Israel (9/5): Cozy apartment in Digbeth - It makes you feel at home. You have all the amenities that you need for your stay and very close to the Bullring. Everything was good! The only thing I should mention is that the mattress needs replacing in my opinion to get a 10/10 as this is an important part of the stay to be able to rest.

• Max (9/5): One of the best options for short business stays. - I liked the furniture, kitchenware, and TV—better than can be found in some other similarly-priced apartments! Low levels of noise in general and during busy morning / evening rush hours and Friday / Saturday nights were highly appreciated—again, much better than can be experienced in other similar-priced apartments in the city center! Lack of access to washing machine makes extended stays a bit inconvenient, especially if more than one person is staying. To be fair to the owner, this point is very clear from the listing, I am just sharing my personal finding that perhaps if one is staying for 1 week+ it is better to have an alternative plan for washing one's clothes. Another thing is, except a few very nice-looking apartment building complexes where the apartment is located, the neighborhood feels a bit "rough".

• Ali (5/5): Room in Digbeth - Location is great and easy to find the apartment. The windows did not open it was a very hot weekend, there was thankfully a fan but did not like locked windows. The smoke alarm had a cover on it which was a blue bag, did not understand why and felt very odd. . The sofa had a fur blanket and the table cloth was dirty with dried flowers on. Also too many personal items. Could not beat the location but £109 was too much.

• Victoria (8/5): Very responsive owners. Nice place to stay but a few extra touches would make a big difference. - The host was very responsive and communication was very clear. The apartment was comfortable and clean as well as being very close to everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked well. Would stay again. We couldn't use the fridge as it was extremely noisy when switched on. It would have been nice to have coffee pods to allow us to use the Nespresso machine (there was one between us). A mirror somewhere other than the bathroom would be really useful and the windows have clearly not been cleaned for quite some time.

The staff were accommodating and kept us informed throughout the check in/check out process. The property was advertised as a ‘Chinatown Central Stay’, but as someone not local to Birmingham, we were surprised to see it was not in/in close proximity to the Chinese Quarter and was in an area of Birmingham I was quite afraid to walk through. Considering the nature of our trip, the location was a bit inconvenient, but overall our stay was great.

• Rebecca (10/5): Perfect for our 1 night stay - Lovely apartment, great facilities, good location for what we needed. Owner was very efficient and had everything well organised for an easy stay. Everything was perfect! We had some minor confusion when checking in, collecting keys from the shop opposite however it was quickly rectified with a phonecall and all was ok in the end. We checked out at exactly 10am and the owner was waiting outside so we were glad we weren't running late!

• Pete (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was extremely clean and very very quiet at night. 5 mins in a taxi to Chinatown and of course Wetherspoons! Its only a 12 minute walk if u desire ! Looks like a lot of apartments have a parking space. You only have one alternative and thats finding a space on adjoining roads of Which you cant use until after 6pm and you have to vacate by 8am.

When the weather was a bit hot, we asked him for some help to open our windows because we couldn’t figure out how to. He came around swiftly to open the windows and even offered us a fan. • Mia (10/5): Really Good Apartment & Owners - We were met on arrival by Jerry who was very helpful & friendly and quick to contact, apartment was spotless and perfect for the one night we were staying for an event that evening. Everything you’d need was there including iron, toiletries, towels etc, short minute walk to anywhere including shops and very good security measures in the apartment block for peace of mind while staying in a city. Very modern apartment and comfortable to stay in. Very good value for money for two people for the night, with then a damage deposit on top which was returned by the hour of check out, thankyou again!

A little dusty (extractor hood especially) and towels very rough. Had to pay an extra £10 for cleaning which we didn’t know about when booking.

Thanks - Location and the flowers art work No tv even though one in picture, sofa has stains all over also has dog hairs all over. Throw that is seen in picture on sofa was on the bed! Bedding was also crispy not the most comfortable to sleep with mattress was ok
