• Matthew (7/5): Not bad if you want to stay in old town, but I advise against doing that - In the heart of the tourist trap that is Old Town Dubrovnik. It's a good location and the bed was pretty comfortable. The room had no way to darken it (no shutters and thin curtains), the bathroom always smelled and the door needed to be shut all the time. The entire apartment echoed whenever anyone shut a door or walked anywhere and it made it hard to sleep past 7 or 8.

• Lorenzo (6/5): posizione strategica, ma nel complesso migliorabile - Ottima posizione nel cuore della città vecchia. Estremamente vicino a spiagge, supermercati e locali. Piacevolmente sorpresi dalla disponibilità dell'host chi ci ha prontamente contattati al momento della prenotazione ed è rimasto a disposizione per tutto il tempo del nostro soggiorno i problemi principali sono le utenze: le prese elettriche risultavano praticamente tutte precarie, staccandosi ogni volta che si attaccava un qualsiasi cavo (che sia telefono o asciuga-capelli). Nonostante la camera fosse molto pulita e moderna (la presenza del piano ad induzione, ad esempio) l'edificio risulta piuttosto datato. Particolarmente fastidiosi i lavori di manutenzione delle stradine vicine effettuati già dalle prime ore del giorno (intorno alle 7:00 ).

• John (10/5): Perfect location in Dubrovnik - Zelen was a great host and kindly helped us to acquire a taxi to the airport on our final day as it was a very very busy early flight. The location is incredible!! Couldn’t have been better. We loved being in the old town and exploring it in the evening whilst going on tours in the day time. The accommodation is close to Pile gate which is convenient as it is the main pickup location for tours. The apartment itself was comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. We’d highly recommend this apartment and would gladly stay here again. It’s a little confusing to find at the beginning but worth it in the end.
• Karen (10/5): Excellent location and great service - The location was excellent. It’s right in the historic centre of the city — you step outside and you’re surrounded by restaurants, shops and attractions. The space is large, the bed is big and comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. Communication with the staff was great, they always replied quickly and were very helpful. Overall, everything was very good. The only thing I would mention is that the bed sheets had a slight damp smell.

• Claire (6/5): Central but.... - Very central The apartment was not cleaned properly and smelled like the sewers, the corridor at the entrance smelled like cat piss, cigarettes and frying oil. The street was fairly quiet as announced, but you could hear the neighbors at any given point.. At this price range, you could at least give us enough toilet paper but that was lacking as well.
• Lorraine (10/5): Excellent location, great host - We stayed here for 4 nights, it was absolutely perfect for us. The location is excellent, close to everything. The apartment has everything you need for your stay in Dubrovnik and was exceptionally clean. The host was great, and responded to any questions we had immediately, he even had his lovely friendly Dad meet us at our taxi at Pile gate and take us to our accommodation.

• Nk (9/5): Sweet little apartment in the old town! - Perfect location.Convenient to navigate.Responsive and very hospitable staff/owner. Very clean apartment.Munch needed Air conditioning. Comfy bed. Shower curtains weren't sturdy and kept falling off. Not a big issue though considering all the other pros.

• Grainne (10/5): Definitely Sweet - Excellent communication from Host prior to arrival with clear guidance on how best to reach Pile Gate and from there to the apartment. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. I must say the bed was extremely comfortable, we slept very well. The location was superb about a 3 minute walk from gate with no steps. N/A

• Ginette (10/5): Wonderful! - Perfect. The owner sended a map with explanations how to get there and where to find the key. So great, we could not worry. Nothing. It was almost at the entrance of the old town. Not far with luggage.
• Wen (10/5): Excellent, way exceeding my expectation! Very good value for money to stay in Dubrovnik - The location is excellent. The host is super attentive. The apartment is reasonable size and has got everything you need for a short stay. There are plenty of shelving spaces to put your stuff. The apartment is only 2 minutes walk from Pile Gate and it is flat up to the address.

• Chandra (7/5): Great location but not the most comfy. - Location was amazing, fairly sizable accommodations. Stayed 10 days n having a little kitchen to use was great. Dining table was nice as well. This is great for a short stay in central area but not the best or most comfy place. Towels were rough and smelled once wet. Bed is a hard thin mattress pad, pillows are thin as well. Stairwells x 2 are steep and 1 is dark at all times with no auto lighting. Shower didn't drain, water was scalding hot or ran out quickly? Kitchen burners were confusing to use. Little couch was rock hard. You can hear all neighbors around, above n in the stairwell.
• Cindy (9/5): Great location and value for money - Great location in the old town. Towards the entrance and on a small side street so insulated from most of the noise. Really good value for money considering most places in old town Dubrovnik are expensive It's a studio but quite big and more than enough room for two Very responsive and kind host My only real issue is the mattress and pillows are quite hard and thin. It didn't stop us from sleeping but could definitely be more comfortable.
• Monika (10/5): Exceptional - The location was so so good. I did a few activities and everything started at Pile Gate which is 2 minutes away so it was really convenient. The place is nice and clean and it has everything you might need in there. Check in is easy as the host provides very detailed check in instructions. I was struggling to open one of the doors when I arrived and he immediately responded to my messages. A bit noisy and you can hear the cats outside (it’s Old Town Dubrovnik after all) but personally I didn’t mind because I’m not a light sleeper. I’m pretty sure most places in the Old Town would have the same issue anyway so keep that in mind and maybe bring ear plugs.
• Angus (10/5): Comfortable, bang on location, fabulous stay. - The location was great, simple but comfortable and quite spacious for two.perhaps some additional pillows would have been nice. Perhaps a little signage to help find the apartment, as there are no clues from outside, but also this is quite fun and part of the adventure!
• Sarah (8/5): I enjoyed my stay in an authentic part of old town dubrovnick. - I loved the feeling of living in the heart of the old town feeling like part of the community. The facilities had everything you need for afew days in an apartment. The polyester linen was not ideal and the temperature was warm.

• Kansara (7/5): Good - The host was very friendly and responsive, They were thoughtful as we were received with umbrellas since it was raining there. Excellent location, right in middle of old town , close to beaches & public transportation The mattress was hard & thin. The blanket was not adequate. Please keep additional pillows and blankets. When shower is turned on the water is all over the bathroom floor instead of draining within the shower area. the shower curtain was short in length and the bath mat was soaking wet . We had to use 2 large towels to dry the floor. The toilet seat was on a concrete platform and was too high.

• Joseph (9/5): Would recommend here. Staying in Dubrovnik is costly and this apartment suited our short stay perfectly. - Great location and easy to walk to from pile gate. Area was quiet which is hard to find in Dubrovnik. Excellent communication and organisation by the owners. Could be finished a little better e.g shower screen over a curtain, kitchen very small , flooring had some nails in it
• Simona (9/5): Cosy apartment in a nice location - For three days in Dubrovnik the apartment is in an excellent location, right in the Old Town, in the evening you can move around easily and during the day you are close to the various meeting points for tours of all kinds. In the Old Town there are also some places to go swimming from the rocks, lots of restaurants and clubs but fortunately, specifically the street of the apartment, is quiet if you want to go to sleep early for the morning tours. The price is quite reasonable for the economy of Dubrovnik, having booked very late and in high season I think it was the best choice.
• Kathiê (6/5): Good but wouldn’t book again - The location is very good It lacks in cleanliness, also the mattress and bed sheets are very poor quality - what made me have a horrible back pain during my holiday. There are some nails in the floor that will hurt if you walk without shoes
• I (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment is clean, comfortable and recently renovated. Location is very good, not far to walk (with bags) from Pile gate, on a quiet side street, so convenient but not noisy. Would stay there again.
