- Sushma (9/5): - Clean and neat rooms including bathrooms.. Staffs are very helpful in terms of guiding the guests..Close to airport around 8 mins.. Pls carry special adapters to use in Indonesia, especially for Indians who book..
- Amelia Zi Wei (8/5): I’m satisfy with the stay a lot - Amazing staff, spacious room, clean , everything’s working well, fresh air No hot shower but bearable by the hot weather, sometimes can be quite noisy with the music speaker of local and neighbours
- Cambas Ibarra (10/5): - Comodo limpio buena relación calidad precio y lo mejor el personal que nos atendio nos trato muy bien y nos ayudo mucho en nuestro viaje
- Sam (10/5): - Great location & the staff are so nice
- Margaux (7/5): Rapport qualité/ prix correct - Simple , endroit propre Localisation excentrée, supermarché pas loin à pied mais il n’y a rien à faire autour
- Svenja (5/5): Wouldn’t do that again - It was Cheap an there an AC I couldn’t flush the toilet as normal. There were hairs in the bed from another person. The walls weren’t clean and were fallen apart
- Ella (4/5): The people are very nice but sadly the facilities were a let down - The staff were lovely and the complimentary tea and coffee was good My room had no toilet seat and no hot shower plus the shower head constantly shifted and had to be constantly adjusted and was really annoying to use . It was fairly noisy there even though it’s not near town n I woke every day very early
- Lochy (7/5): -
- Lara (10/5): - El personal es encantador y las camas son cómodas Había humedades y el baño desprendía mal olor
- Paweł (7/5): -
- Adam (10/5): -
- Yahav (9/5): Very big room with good ac and warm and welcoming staff - Best value for money in labuan bajo.
Perfect for backpackers.
Don’t mind the lack of reviews, it’s a new property. No hot water in shower which i knew about, i like cold showers but be aware.
- Daryn (7/5): All in all good - Location
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Jodie (5/5): Passable -
- Asten (10/5): Great value for money I would stay here again. - Very friendly staff. We were checked in very quickly and they’d sorted us out with a scooter within 2 minutes of asking. Room was spacious with strong AC and a comfortable bed. Shop close by for water etc. and only a short ride to town and the airport. It was nice to have a kettle in the room so we could make a coffee every morning.
- Raquel (7/5): Good -
- Joanna (6/5): Pleasant - New and clean The location
- Rogasian (8/5): Very good - Very clean, helpful staff and nice aircon. Water pressure in shower but more of a local probel than just this place
- Muhammad (10/5): Value for money - It was so cheap for the price and it includes breakfast too. The room was clean and i had no regrets. The toilet has no flush, you have to fill up a basin to flush the toilet bowl.
- Pol (9/5): really good for what you pay - ac working, staff was very friendly. For the price you pay definitely worth it. Breakfast fried rice location is not bad but you will need bike
- Kakebeeke (7/5): Good -
- Philip (1/5): Horrible - It was horrible, there was coming water from the roof and walls beacuse of a broken air conditioner. The bathroom was smelling very bad, no hot water and a lot of spiders inside the room.
Then we pre orderd a taxi at the reception for the airport. We we're ready at the agreed time, but no one was at the reception and they didn't answer. We almost lost the flight because of them.
- Lara (8/5): Very good -
- Kakebeeke (7/5): Very basic and clean. With friendly staff. -
- Cédric (3/5): I do not recommend - The rooms are very large and the staff friendly. Very disappointed with my experience with this establishment regarding communication. I asked for a breakfast at 7am because I had to dive and it never arrived… No hot water for showers and the location of the hotel is quite isolated.
- Cora (7/5): Good - Affordable price. (Toilet tidak ada flush nya.)
No flush on the toilet, and gate is not locked during the night, it gives not secure during the night. But averall is okay.
Note: the rooms door is in front of local village housing.
- Bella (10/5): Exceptional - great room near the airport and breakfast was delicious!
- Harriet (7/5): Good -
- Harry (8/5): Very good - Room is very large, clean and with working AC. Staff were very friendly on check in. We explained we had an early flight and would miss the breakfast so she arranged to have this left outside our room for before we left. Perfect for a night's stay after the Komodo boat trip. Property is really far out of the main town, it does require a bike/grabs to get to the main strip/restaurants however these are readily available.
- Brice (7/5): Good - The room and the bathroom are clean and the personel, very nice. No transport to the airport ( not available ). Breakfast no good.
- Ranjan (1/5): Bad - I found absolutely nothing satisfactory about this establishment except for the exceptional efforts of the staff members Yuliana and Hilde to ensure my comfort. This is utterly unacceptable for an international traveler. Regrettably, this property falls far below the standards expected of a booking.com listing. My stay at this guest house was a complete nightmare. From the very beginning, everything was horrendous. The surroundings were unpleasant, the toilet lacked a basic seat forcing me to sit on a bare ceramic bowl, the water pressure was abysmally low with no hot water, the placement of the toilet paper holder was absurdly out of reach, the inadequate air-conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm, and the entire structure was shoddily built with cement blocks. The overnight experience was beyond unpleasant.
To add insult to injury, the payment process was a disaster. Despite assuming that Booking.com would handle payment through my credit card, the guest house shockingly refused card payments, inconveniencing me by demanding cash and suggesting a trip back to Labuan Bajo city to withdraw money. The misleading surroundings depicted on Booking.com only added to the disappointment, as the actual view was dirty and unappealing, surrounded by impoverished locals living in makeshift huts, disturbing the peace with their nighttime singing. The absence of decent restaurants further soured the experience, falling far below any reasonable expectation.
This guest house must be immediately removed from Booking.com until they address these glaring issues, particularly the inability to accept credit card payments for international travelers. If not, they should restrict their services to local customers only. Booking.com is equally at fault for this debacle, failing to conduct proper due diligence before featuring this establishment on their platform. Ultimately, the responsibility lies with Booking.com. They must take accountability and rectify this situation promptly.
- Franco (6/5): Pleasant - Really bad and poor breakfast. The staff didn’t talk at least one word in English
- Maha (7/5): Good -
- Cara (7/5): Good - Great room , lots of space , kind staff Stated on the description about paid transport to the hotel but it’s not as you have to pay for it yourself but they helped us out and got some money off
- Andres (8/5): 100 recommended - Very flexible in everything and really good communication We have a lot of mosquitoes in our room 😅
- Pablo (7/5): Decent cheap private room in Labuan Bajo - The room itself is nice. Lots of space and nice lights. Gets quite bright in the morning. Wish there were more facilities - for the price it was decent but definitely a lot still to improve.
Bathroom with shower was quite small - difficult to handle.
Location not the best but you can always order Grab.
- Karen (10/5): Lovely place run by lovely people - It’s in a quiet area away from town but very easy to get a grab bike to take you into town. The owner was very helpful and friendly and recommended a delicious restaurant nearby with huge portions (dragon resto) as well as interesting things to see in the area. The room was large and clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC was amazing and cooled the room very quickly. There’s a small shop that sells things as well as an alfamart nearby. Overall great stay The place is pretty new and has great potential! It would be nice if there was a seating area on the roof top patio to hang out. Sometimes drivers had a hard time finding the place but that’s part of the fun! The toilet didn’t always flush either but would randomly work again after some time.
- A. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristina (7/5): Good - The room was really comfortable, clean and big. They served a different breakfast every day. The female staff were really friendly and helpful, I appreciated their honesty. The staff arranged some great tours, especially the day trip to Komodo and various islands. The location is ideal if you need to visit immigration to extend your visa or if you want to visit the nearby hills for a lovely view of Labuan Bajo. It sounds like the guesthouse has some good plans to improve the place further, such as installing hot water in the future For the first few days they didn't provide drinking water as I was the only guest. When more guests arrived they then provided it. The shower was cold, but they did warn me as soon as I arrived, so I found this acceptable since they have only just opened. There aren't many restaurants nearby, but it's really easy to get a grab and have something delivered. I wasn't able to rent a scooter whilst here, so make sure you negotiate prices with the owner, as the initial quotes can be quite expensive
- Lauris (8/5): Let’s give hope to young locals to start hospitality business, they are trying their best! - Owner and his son was very polite They are new in tourism business and still lot to learn
