• Marie (8/5): - The house has spectacular views!! There was plenty of space for 6 adults, and the three bathrooms made it ideal. There were games provided. Full house with full facilities. Easy walk or drive into town - very convenient location. The house was freezing on arrival and took hours to heat with small electric heaters. The underfloor heating did not work. So, on arrival from a delayed flight, late in the afternoon, the house was as cold as outside - freezing. It took hours to warm up. The aircon in the kitchen/dining and upstairs lounge/bedroom do not work. The tenant downstairs smokes weed, and it comes up through the whole house. Less than ideal. The washing machine and dryer need cleaning - they are filthy!

• Ryan (5/5): Might have been "spectacular" when it was built but a bit run down now - The location and view was great, the bathrooms were nice and clean. The rest of the house was not overly clean. The host was there when we arrived, and there was a smoke alarm beeping with a low battery which was just left alone. It was 6 Degrees inside the house - with one heat pump upstairs that worked, another broken so the heating struggled for the whole stay. Wifi didn't work, and the roller blinds were damaged in the main bedrooms. They were just tied up with a ribbon? It seemed like someone was living in the downstairs area of the house with a separate entrance - should be advertised as we were expecting to have a more private space.

• Bismark (9/5): Absolutely stunning property with breathtaking, unobstructed views - we'd return in a heartbeat. - The location and views are absolutely beautiful and the house immaculate and well presented. The property is also centrally located making it easy to travel to different venues offered in the town. A few small issues, though they didn’t impact our overall stay. The outdoor rubbish bin was overflowing when we arrived, making it difficult to discard our own waste as per the house rules, so we had to use the neighbours’ bins on rubbish collection day. The kitchen could use a quick restock — the dish scourer was quite worn and there wasn’t much dishwashing liquid, so we purchased our own cleaning supplies. The floor tiles at the entrance were a bit slippery when entering on a rainy day — perhaps a larger rug inside the doorway could help.

Waking up to the stunning sight of the lake and mountains truly feels like a slice of heaven. The kitchen facilities are excellent, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay.

Facilities were great also. Could have a few more basic supplies available for cooking such as baking paper, coffee pods etc .. A minor inconvenience as the shoes were a short drive away...

• Melanie (8/5): Nelson was a great host helped with board games and hot water issue - Absolutely amazing views you could never get sick of looking at! The internet isn’t very good and hot water system didn’t work properly for 2 days.

Felt that some things were falling apart, shower heads in 2 rooms were broken, there was a part missing for the coffee machine & no instructions on how to use equipment in the kitchen. Rooms had TVs however there were no remote controls around.
• Joyce (10/5): Beautiful, huge house with excellent views of the lake!! - This house was HUGE with absolutely breathtaking views of Queenstown and the lake. Everything you could possibly want was provided. It had three floors with bedrooms on each floor, so privacy was great, kitchen was super modern and great to cook in, washer and dryer worked well and there were cute little sitting places provided to just sit, lookout and chill! We felt very safe and comfortable, while staying here. Nothing wrong with the house. If I had to say there was anything we didn't like it was that the driveway was a little steep for comfortable parking, but street parking was plentiful.

• Parthesh (1/5): Never recommend anybody to book this property - It's trap - Our recent three-night stay at Manor Hotel Lodge (23rd Sept 2023 to 26th Sept 2023) left us thoroughly disappointed and frustrated, primarily due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy exhibited by the hotel staff, especially the manager, Mr. Nelson. Despite our anticipation for a pleasant and comfortable stay, we encountered a series of issues that marred our experience significantly. The problems began on the very first day when we discovered that the heat pump in the kitchen was malfunctioning. Despite promptly reporting the issue to Mr. Nelson, there was no effort made to rectify the situation. This lack of responsiveness left us in discomfort throughout our stay, struggling with the cold environment. Furthermore, the broken toilet flush switch indicated a severe lack of maintenance and care for guests' convenience. Such a basic amenity should have been promptly fixed, but instead, we were left to cope with this inconvenience. Moreover, the state of the facilities was far from satisfactory. The water kettle provided in our room was shockingly rusted on the inside, making it impossible for us to use it. This forced us to purchase water from outside, an additional expense that was highly unwelcome, especially considering the hefty amount we had paid for our stay. A concerning aspect of our stay was the presence of dust on the door frames. Not only is this unhygienic, but it also seriously impacted our health during our time at the lodge. We expected a clean and sanitary environment, but the presence of dust suggested a lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. Adding to our displeasure was the persistently unpleasant stench in the main entrance corridor area. This foul odor greatly diminished our overall experience, making our time spent in the common areas uncomfortable and unpleasant. Lastly, the malfunctioning bathroom door lock, which prevented us from securely locking the door from inside, was a serious breach of privacy and security.

Also, they provide auto-mahjong machine, which is totally out of my expectation. In which I am very appreciated. and overall its very comfortable for living. enjoy your coffee with the capsule and enjoy the view. tbh none. maybe its a bit difficult to go there if you don't have a car

• Anne (8/5): The view from this modern home is exceptional - The photo's on Booking.com were a true representation of the house. We really enjoyed our stay, the beds were comfortable and the house was modern, clean and roomy. The view from the floor to ceiling windows was awesome. The house was located between Queenstown and Frankton so some form of transport is needed to get to attractions you want to visit. The owners response to a wifi issue was prompt and the issue was fixed quickly. Electric blankets on the beds would have been good, it was a bit chilly on cold nights.
