We had two superior rooms with balcony’s. One was great and the other was a little run down. Breakfast was average. In saying that we would definitely return to the Armagrandi and recommend to family and friends.

I can’t say enough good things about it. The location is PRIME. If you want to live with a view of Hagia Sofia and the Sultanahmet Blue Mosque, this is your place. The hotel is right on the front line facing the two landmarks and has a 6th-floor terrace available at any time, and NOT CROWDED like the terraces of buildings in the same line. Nearby restaurants will be calling you to visit and see the view from their terraces—you won’t need to be part of the zoo of people to take a gorgeous picture with Hagia Sofia or the Blue Mosque. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are right there outside. You’ll walk past them every day of your stay. Landmarks like Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, and the tram station are all within a short walking distance. For me, this was crucial—my mom has a leg injury, and I wanted her to enjoy the beauty of the pearls of Istanbul, avoiding unnecessary long walks before reaching the landmarks. It worked perfectly! You just need to walk out of the hotel—here they are! The views from my room were of the Blue Mosque, and from my parents’ room—of the colorful brick street with beautiful shops, stores, and restaurants. Both were beautiful. There is also a local bazaar there—if you need last-minute gift shopping or your suitcase breaks an hour before moving out (like ours did!), there’s a bazaar where you can find basically anything. Second, I’d like to express my appreciation to the hotel staff. First, cleanliness—the rooms were cleaned, beds were made, and all towels were replaced every morning, and when you return, the room smells clean and new slippers are waiting for you. Second, the front desk—they helped us arrange anything we needed. Make a local call to speak with someone in Turkish? They are ready to help.

• Yousef (7/5): - 1-قرب الموقع من المسجد 2-إطلالاته على البحر و المساجد 3-السرير مريح 4-أضافوا كنب سرير مجاني لابنتي و لهم الشكر 5-موظفين الاستقبال ودودين و خدومين 1-راسلت الفندق قبل اسبوعين و كتبت طلبي اني احتاج 3 غرف ثم راسلتهم تذكير قبلها بيومين ثم راسلتهم و أنا مسافر قبل المجي ،، و لم يحققوا طلبي بأن يكون غرفة الأبوين مطلة على المسجد و قالوا لي بأن الفندق فل و اخذ الغرفة زبون آخر 2-الماء في حمام غرفة الأبوين لم يعمل لليوم الاول لكنهم أصلحوه في اليوم الثاني 3-الفطور لم يكن سيء و لم يكن ممتاز 4-موقف السيارة حصلته بسعر ارخص من عندهم وانا نزيل الفندق و المتعارف عليه ان نزيل الفندق يحصل على خصم للمواقف دائما و قد جربت ذلك مرارا و تكرارا في فنادق أخرى في نفس المنطقة **هذه النقاط اذكرها فقط للتحسين و المصداقية بالرغم ان الفندق اوصي بالسكن فيه و سأسكن فيه مستقبلا

La ubicación para nosotros perfecta, salir y entrar pasando entre la mezquita azul y Santa Sofia fue perfecto. Linea tranvía 1 a 2 minutos andando. Principales puntos de interés a 15 minutos máximo. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Pequeño, con decoración actual, agradable y personal muy amable. Desayuno correcto. Limpio. La habitación algo justa de espacio.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was small, but cosy - just perfect for us (me, my wife and 9yo kid). There’s a public parking right behind the hotel - very useful, if you are in Istanbul with a car. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant. Maybe a bathroom rennovation and more variety in the breakfast would have made it perfect.

• Michael (10/5): - The night manager...I cant remember his name...was the nicest young man i have met for a very long time. He was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. The location couldnt be better for visiting Sultanameht...the old city. We couldnt believe our eyes when we went up to the rooftop terrace for breakfast the first morning to find ourselves between the blue mosque and hagia sophia with views over the bosporus. Just wonderful.

Nu este un hotel de 4*.

• BILAN (9/5): - the staff were very friendly and polite, even though they spoke little English. The location is amazing—right next to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Seven Hills Restaurant. Definitely, I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are decent but need an upgrade, and the towels are old and have an unpleasant smell. There are coffee and tea makers, but no actual coffee or tea is provided I did asked once the house keeper give me some but they are not available all time they should put some when they clean the room

Camera carina e molto luminosa. Acqua sempre disponibile e servizio di riassetto quotidiano (non cambio asciugamani). Il balcone era ben organizzato. Letto e cuscini comodi. Accappatoi morbidi (ma le taglie molto mini). Colazione varia Sarebbe veramente perfetto se curassero la manutenzione delle camere e delle parti comuni invece tutto è molto trascurato (tappezzeria staccata e parti comuni poco curate). La colazione ,seppur varia tra dolce e salato e' un po' disorganizzata e non ricchissima ma se si considera il rapporto qualità prezzo e' allineata. Curando un po' meglio la struttura il mio voto sarebbe 9 abbondante

The room was newly renovated, very good size, very clean. The bathroom is full of amentities. Staff was very helpful eventhough I arrived at 2.30 am. I did not have breakfast as I woke up late. Plus you can get in the shuttle bus to the airport from the Parking of the hotel, superb! I really had a great time there. Nothing I didnt like!

• Mohd Fadzlin (10/5): 3 days 2 night in Istanbul - Our stay at Armagrandi Spina Hotel in Sultanahmet was an unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul. The most striking feature of this hotel is, without a doubt, the breathtaking view from the room. Stepping onto the balcony and seeing both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in full view felt surreal. Being able to enjoy these iconic landmarks from the comfort of our room, especially during sunrise and evening hours, was truly special and something we will always remember. The staff at the hotel deserve special praise especially the guy who manned the checkin counter when i check in.. From check-in to check-out, they were consistently friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was assisting with luggage, giving directions, or offering recommendations around the area, they always went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Housekeeping standards were good, and the room was equipped with complete amenities, making it suitable for both short and longer stays. After long days of sightseeing, it was always pleasant to return to a tidy and cozy room. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. It is just a short walk to Sultanahmet Square, placing major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace within easy reach. Getting around Istanbul from this area is very convenient, whether on foot or by public transport. A major plus is that the hotel is located right next to the airport bus stop, which made arrival and departure extremely easy, especially for travelers with luggage. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, and this was another highlight of our stay. The view from the rooftop is absolutely mesmerizing, offering a stunning panorama of Istanbul’s historic skyline. There was power outage during our stay. However it only for a few minutes and the staff quickly rectified the problem
• Ymerai (9/5): Πολυ γλυκιά ανάμνηση - Η τοποθεσία ειναι εξαιρετική κυριολεκτικά ειδικά να θες να δεις αξιοθέατά ειναι ακριβώς διπλα απο την Αγια Σοφία και δυο λεπτα απο το μετρο. Αυτο ομως που κλέβει την παράσταση ειναι η φροντίδα που σου δείχνει το προσωπικό...Αξίζει να πάτε σε αυτο το κατάλυμα μονο και μονο για να γνωρίσετε τον ευγενέστατο Αιμπερκ (πρωινός ρεσεψιονιστ ) θα σας βοηθήσει σε οτι πρόβλημα και να έχετε και θα σας φροντίσει στο έπακρο , πραγματικά μακάρι καθε επιχείρηση να ειχε εναν εργαζόμενο σαν τον Αιμπερκ αξίζει για δεκα .Φυσικά, και τα κοριτσια που ειναι στο εστοιατοριο πρωινού ηταν ευγενεστατα και παντα με ενα γλυκό χαμόγελο μας φρόντισαν εξίσου οπως και η κυρια που μας καθάριζε τα δωμάτια καθημερινά με τοσο προσοχή. Το ξενοδοχείο θελει μια καλη συντήρηση αλλα το προσωπικό κανει οτι καλύτερο μπορεί και τα επισκιάζει ολα με την καλοσύνη του.

• kousar (10/5): One of the best hotels. - I absolutely loved this hotel, the reception staff was really really nice weng out of they way to help us (my husband is disabled) as much as they could. The staff at the breakfast terrace was imaculate.the breakfast itself was just avarage but the scenery was outstanding , i had the view os the blue mosque, haghia sophia and the sea. Also thry had beautiful set up at the roof top for taking insta pictures . The room was cleaned everyday , bins changed, everything topped up , bathroom cleaned. The cleaners were also very nice. I had a balcony room which was a cherry on the tooping as i relaxed in he evening after a busy day i loved the view of haghia sophia and blue mosque from my bancony. I loved the thing that i could see whole of the coartyard of the mksques from my room also tgat the back entrance of the hotel opened literally outside of the two mosques courtyard. I loved the locatuon of this hotel altogether. The only thing that was lacking in this hotel is that it says its disabled fruendly but its not, they have tried their best but because the building are old abd the way everything is built on a hill side its very hard to get everythin wheelchaur accessible. The reason im saying its not wheelchair friendly cause as you walk into the reception area, checked in and everything to get to the main living area such as the bedrooms , sitting place, the elevator and to theback entrance you have to climb about 7/8 stairs which is a struggle for a disabled person. The elevator is alined at the furst floor but when you come out from fifth floor it has a step also we wanted a view room with balcony which had a syep leading to it but they do have a room on the first floor which is wheelechair accesible.

• Janine (8/5): - Great location, with views of the blue mosque. The room was modern, well equipped, and nicely decorated. We had a small balcony from which we could see the beauty of the old city. It was a bonus having an elevator. The breakfast was adequate but mediocre.
• Julie (3/5): Great location, very unattractive hotel - The young ladies at breakfast were kind and enthusiastic. They were the best part of the hotel. They helped my little grandson feed the seagulls and they brought him pancakes and hot chocolate. The hotel had an excellent location. The first room (#401) was awful. Damaged, not clean. I got terrible allergies there. The manager kindly moved me to a better room, #301. The rooms were very unattractive and just not very nice. The young man at the front desk refused to help us find a Bosphorous cruise, insisting we could only go on the rip-off tourist cruise where he probably would get a commission. It was just a very ugly and plain hotel. There was an adjoining locked door to another room and you could hear everything. I got woken up in the middle of the night. The breakfast food was terrible. Don't recommend this hotel.
• Mami (6/5): 立地最強ホテル - 空港から直通出るバス停の一つスルタンアフメットのバス停から徒歩すぐのところにあって立地がとても良い！あと、朝食会場の景色は、アヤソフィアとブルーモスク、ボスポラス海峡も見渡せて綺麗だった 排水溝の匂いが気になる。あと2人滞在なのにスリッパは1つしか用意されてなかった。腰掛けが二つとも背もたれがあると尚いい。
• Yulya (8/5): Gorgeous area, but don’t expect too much of a chic for the rooms. - Great location, very nice staff We’ve got two rooms as a family. Not at all so great as on pictures. We would rate the interior as two stars. The room that was supposed to be bigger (and it was more expensive) was small with no space for suitcases. In the other room the handle of the restroom was broke, the entrance to the shower was dangerously narrow and uncomfortable. There wasn’t shampoo and soap bottles as the hotels with this rate usually have. The smell in the room was pretty bad. We still liked the service and especially the staff in the breakfast room- nice and kind.

• Gianluca (8/5): Nice place to stay in Sulthananet - Staff at reception very friendly and customer oriented. They manage the rooms in a good way. And one has been upgraded. Appreciated. There's a bus that reach IST airport at cheaper fare compared to taxi and shuttles. All interesting places are nearby at walking distance. We suggest the room with balcony with the view of mosques Breakfast starts too late (8.00am). The girls on the roof dont take care at all of customers. Bread arrive at 8.30 and not all items are ready at 8. More then one time we asked something missing. Organization and breakfast time need improvments

Struttura un po’ datata, ma abbastanza in linea con hotel simili della zona, altrimenti dovete spendere di più e raggiungere un altro livello. Colazione piuttosto semplice, servita all’ultimo piano che ha una bella vista sul mare da una parte, e sulle due moschee dall’altra.

Hotel limpio aunque con sobreprecio para la calidad del servicio. El desayuno no es acorde ni al lugar donde se sirve ni al precio que se paga por el mismo. Buffet de baja calidad, poca o ninguna atención y productos repetitivos.

• Scott (8/5): Location, Location - While the place needs a little love, you can't beat it for location. If you have used the HAVAIST 11 bus 275TRY (A$10) from IST airport (<90minites heavy traffic) you will know that it actually stops just 100m from this hotel, not at the perpetuated lie that the bus will drop you at Beyazıt Square over a 1km away, and for an 8th of a taxi price and about the same travel time use the bus, best of all the return 11 bus to IST leave from the car park 20m behind the hotel. There are numerous restaurants in the streets surrounding the hotel, but if you want a 20% reduction in dining costs go up the hill a bit over the Sultan Ahmet Park, don't expect the per covid prices, a lamb shank downhill around 1300TRY ($A50) and uphill about 1000TRY ($A37). While breakfast is basic the view from the top floor of the hotel is worth it. There is very little road traffic on the road below, so you won't get the obligatory horn blowing Turks seem to suffer from, early morning call to prays you get everywhere in Istanbul, bring ear plugs if a light sleeper. Place needs a bit of maintenance, but all the important things worked. I does not have a bar, but there are dozens in a short distance.

• Rachael (9/5): We will book again if we are ever in Turkey. - It was so well situated, and we had a verandah where we sat overlooking the mosques. We enjoyed the old city feel and even being woken at 5am by the mosques' loudspeakers called everyone to prayer!! The staff were so friendly and helpful - in particular Ibert (spelling) who could not have been more welcoming and organised our Turkish Bath and transport, and answered all our queries.

• francesca (10/5): Posizione mozzafiato! - Struttura accogliente in una posizione ideale,tra la moschea blu e la Basilica di Santa Sofia. Fermata della metro di superficie T1 vicinissima e collegata a tutta la città. L'area della colazione affacciata sulla moschea blu é bellissima ma dovrebbe essere più pulita.
