- Joyce (10/5): A place like home! - This is by far the best place to stay in lovely Ampleforth village! The warm homey feeling can be felt immediately after you first open the door, with a pristine and decorated with taste and evidently with TLC! You have EVERYTHING you need in the house and everything in it is clean and beautiful. The ground floor has a very comfy drawing room with books and a TV and large comfortable sofas and armchairs, a separated perfect size dining room, a full bathroom with a bathtub & shower and WC, a very beautiful and natural light filled kitchen extremely well equiped, and a boot room that has separate washer drier machines, big sink and extra storage room with ironing table and iron and a rack to dry your clothes in the sun in the beautiful little backyard garden with two sets of table&chairs to enjoy the fresh air in comfort. The first floor has three very confortable bedrooms and a very large second fully equiped bathroom. Two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. All new with immaculate bedlinen and sets of towels. The beds are extremely comfortable and plenty of storage space. All very well thought impeccably clean and beautiful.
A welcome tray with little goodies was waiting for us in the kitchen and the bedlinen and towels were changed once a week. Thereโs always space for the car just at the front door and two great pubs a delicious tea room and a very well equiped mini market all within 5 minutes walk. The area is of great beauty and loads of interesting places to visit and cycle/ walking circuits to do. We spent 10 beautiful days with my two teenagers aged 18 and 16. Nothing! Itโs such a wonderful home in Ampleforth!

- Gail (10/5): A lovely stay in Yorkshire and always a pleasure to return to Moorside Cottage. - A very clean and comfortable cottage with all the facilities we needed. A large supply of plates, cutlery and pots, comfortable beds, cosy living room. A lovely garden, though the weather meant we didn't make as much use of it as we would have liked. Good food at both village pubs. We couldn't fault it in any way.
- Anita (10/5): Moorside Cottage, Ampleforth, North Yorkshire - Welcome pack, lovely ๐ with quality food items, especially the Yorkshire Parkin ๐.
Very nice back garden.
Well equipped kitchen with lots of teatowels and washing up liquid, etc. Very useful utility room.
Spacious rooms. Downstairs and upstairs bathroom with first-rate walk-in shower .
Very clean property. Plenty of towels.
Children's stairgate came in handy.
Nice decor and extremely comfortable ๐. Parking outside on the road was a bit tricky on arrival on the Friday, but improved for the rest of our stay. We were then able to park 2 cars directly outside the property.
