Guest Reviews
- Athena (7/5): Spacious in central location. - Nice spacious apartment, good location between Madrid atocha station and the old town. Reasonable to walk if u have light luggage. Ensuite laundry. Tiny balcony over the street where you can sit. Close to all amenities. Advertised as 1 bedroom, it’s actually a studio apartment (but spacious). Their communication was poor and inconsistent. First confirming we could get early access between 12:00-13:00, the day before arrival told us it was 13:00, and the day of ignoring my message until sending entry codes at 14:00. Even though checkin is officially 14:00, they had told me I could access 12:00-13:00 which they did not honour. I would have chosen elsewhere had I known. The foam mattress is not well designed for two people. The heavy person makes a dent that the lighter person rolls into. The A/C made a disturbing noise all night even when turned off. The toilet made a strange loud squeak for 2 minutes after flushing. Only coffee for one night if our two-night stay.

- Ana Ortiz (10/5): - Everything is excellent and very close to everything.
- Javier (9/5): -
- Daniele (10/5): - Posizione Niente
- Lorraine (10/5): excellent location could not fault it - location and facilities all modern all good
- Cosmin (10/5): Exceptional - Location ,room size
- Anna (7/5): Good small studio, great location, but some issues with supplies - Great amount of space for two people. We enjoyed having a washing machine available to us. The pantry needed to be stocked better- we ran out of coffee almost immediately and couldn’t find the right pods for their machine. The towels were dirty. There’s no toilet paper holder and no hand towel holder- very odd! The shower had mold in the grout.
- Frank (8/5): Very good - The facilities and location to everything was excellent. The location was horrible at night. The party atmosphere at the Taberna went on until 4:00am every night.
- Eric (5/5): Passable - Ideally placed between must see museums. Don't expect quiet nights, the karaoke across the street is open every day up to 3am and customers can't stop singing...
Walls Deco is sad grey, missing warm spanish colors. We weren't in a Almodovar movie 😉
- Daniels (9/5): A really enjoyable stay. The facilities in the apartment were very clean and the kitchenette worked fine. The location o - The location is excellent. Close to the Prado, Atocha, the Retiro and within easy walking distance of Sol. It was really a studio room not a one bedroom apartment. The bed was part of the living area and not a separate room.
- Anzhela (8/5): Good location. - The location is very good. You can easily walk around, close to most of attractions they you might want to visit. The bed was awfully uncomfortable. Was noisy. The apartment located on top of the bar, so people are gathering there till 4 am.
- Maraimarin (9/5): Superb - I like the location. It is very nice neighborhood, very central but cute and a bit hiden from very crowded areas. There are few great restaurants just few minutes walking distance.
And the apartment is very nice as well. It was pretty noisy during the night because of few night clubs around. So having earplugs is a must in this apartment.
- Jock (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great. Had everything needed.
- Glenn (9/5): Great place for a weekend in Madrid - The location was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good and more than enough hot water. There a few small things such as no cutting board for bread, broom to sweep or an iron for clothes. Other than that it was well stocked.
- Gina (2/5): Be wary booking with this hotel. - The location wasn't terrible, and there was a coffee maker with pods. This was the worst experience of our 2 week stay in Spain and Madrid. I was not assigned the apartment that I reserved -- I think it was a bait and switch, but we weren't aware until too late to cancel. Once we saw the photos of the actual unit we were assigned, we knew we couldn't all stay here. The bed and the so-called sleeper sofa were literally 6 inches apart. We're close friends, but not that close! We ended up booking an additional room in another nearby building for the other couple we were traveling with, while my husband and I stayed here. The apartment was clean enough, however the bed was awful with a big crater on one side and you were left standing in water in the shower because the drain was so slow. The towels were thread bare and crunchy and there was a funky smell in the entrance. The room was overpriced at around $180 a night.
- Dorothy (10/5): My first time in Madrid - Balcony overlooking popular literary street. Efficient washing machine. Comfortable bed and seating. Security at front lobby and staircase even though the neighborhood was well lighted and safe. Should have looked at supplied video to find locker for the apartment keys which was frustrating at the time to follow written directions.
- Vilma (5/5): Our stay - The location was great, we could walk everywhere. The host seemed to be nice and responsive. The price was good for Madrid. I have to be honest here despite the host being nice. I think this property is not suitable for families because of the constant noise from outside- there are 3 bars downstairs so either you have to be a very good sleeper who is immune to noise or a party person. They kept on going at 3:30am, then the cleaners or someone else were hoovering at 6:30am on Sunday, bin men coming at 6am. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, very hard- one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on- my back was really hurting. We couldn’t sleep because of the noise and beds. I suggest the hosts invest in a proper bed if they decide to hire out for stays. The flat was a bit dusty and requires a proper clean. I understand that the lower price is the factor, and you can not control the noise outside, however, at minimum, you can invest in some comfortable mattress/bed.
- Georgios (8/5): Great if you want to walk around in Madrid center and experience the nightlife. - The cleaning was top-notch, which made us feel comfortable and at ease. Plus, the location was perfect – everything we needed was within walking distance. And, we had no trouble communicating with the host, which made things a lot smoother. While our stay was overall pleasant, there were a few aspects to consider. Firstly, the mattress didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of comfort. Additionally, for those seeking a tranquil retreat, it's worth noting that there are two lively bars located just across the street, which can result in some noise late into the night. While this is beyond the control of the apartment, it's important information for those prioritizing relaxation. Lastly, it would be beneficial to have some heating in the bathroom for added comfort during the cooler months. Despite these minor drawbacks, our experience was enjoyable
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location and very comfortable apartment with everything you could need
- Stoica (9/5): Superb -
