• Vojtech (10/5): Fantastické, výborná poloha - Emanuel je skvelý Hostiteľ. Každý deň sa nás pýtal či niečo nepotrebujeme, bol veľmi ochotný. Veľkosť apartmánu je nadštandartná a poloha pri panteóne je k nezaplateniu. Všetky najdôležitejšie pamiatky v Ríme sú od tohto ubytovania na pešo do Max 20 min. apartmán sa nachádza zo zadnej strany Panteónu, má skvelú energiu, krásne vysoké stropy. Priamo pod Ubytovaním je reštaurácia kde prevádzkar hovorí aj po česky a hneď nás pri príchode milo Uvítal. Ubytovaniu v tomto apartmáne nemáme čo vytknúť a rady prídeme zas. Nie je čo vytknúť
• Johansson (10/5): - Området var jättebra, gångavstånd till det mesta. Lägenheten var stor med ett funktionellt kök. Tredje våningen, hiss fanns. Värden var oerhört "service minded" och fanns alltid där för att svara på frågor. Han hade mycket intressanta saker att berätta om huset lägenheten inrymdes i. Huset är nästan 2000 år gammalt och byggdes som personalbostäder under Romartiden.

• Pierre Joan (10/5): Just great - We really liked the apartment. The location and central position were fantastic. Communication with the host was good and easy. The apartment had everything we needed and was well and comfortably furnished. The terrace/balcony is a highlight. There's also a working elevator now. The mattress was a little too soft for our taste. It was a great place to stay that we would choose again if we come back to Rome.

• Vittorio (10/5): - The host is really helpful. He’s a very nice person who messaged us regularly to see if we were happy with our stay, and offered us help with everything to do with Rome. The location is unbelievable. It is literally just off the Pantheon. The building this apartment is in is very old and has a lot of character. The apartment itself is very spacious and has a lovely terrace. The apartment was great for the money we paid, especially given the location. I cannot think of anything negative about it.
• Ian (10/5): Super place for a few nights in the heart of an amazing city. - Amazing place, so central, so reasonable and very helpful contact with Emmanuel when we needed that. At the time we were there we could use the lift which was nice! Comfortable flat with a bit of a balcony we could use even in December! Nothing - it was great. Would definitely go back.

• McRobbie (10/5): Perfect location, lovely host, warm and comfortable. - The location of the property is absolutely fantastic. The apartment was clean and after a day’s exploring was a warm and comfortable place to head home too. Sure, there are steps, but after walking around the city they are no great challenge. The restaurant next to the entrance is brilliant, it’s reasonably priced, plentiful and literally on your doorstep. Emmanuel, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful and was always available and a pleasure to deal with. If you’re heading to Rome seriously consider staying here.

• Vladimirs (9/5): Very good! - Getting the keys was easy. The host was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated help with storing luggage after check out. There is a collection of pillows of different sizes so everyone was able to find the appropriate one. Cozy and good for a family stay. The elevator works only with the keys so you need to grab them first and then go downstairs for the bags. There was an unpleasant odour in the bathroom likely not connected with the apartment but still not comfortable.
• Sophie (10/5): Comfortable stay in the heart of historic Rome - Unbeatable location right next to the Pantheon and the other sights only a short walk away. High ceilings and very spacious for two people. Lift to get bags and tired legs up the stairs. Very helpful self check in instructions and hosts. Nothing. Only feedback is the shower has trouble staying at the right angle and the bathroom sink feels a little unstable, but no complaints, more observations.

• Albert (9/5): Mooi en heerlijk ruim appartement - Prachtig ruim appartement, fraai ingericht, werkende lift naar 3e etage! (in beschrijving wordt nog gemeld dat die in aanbouw is), zeer centraal gelegen pal naast Pantheon in historisch centrum. Appartement toch zeer rustig want ligt aan de achterzijde. Je voelt je er meteen thuis. Vele bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand, anders frequent rijdende bussen. Metro niet dichtbij. Badkamer had een putjesluchtje. Terrasje is leuk maar storend geluid van de airco van het tegenoverliggende hotel. Eigenaar hengelt al te nadrukkelijk naar een goede review via herhaalde WhatsApp telefoontjes. Was irritant.

La communication avec Emmanuel était aisée et sympathique. Le check in est très bien expliqué donc est très facile. Emmanuel est à l'écoute de nos besoins. Les communs ne donnent pas une image en adéquation avec l'appartement. C'est dommage. De plus, une odeur persistante à la salle de bain demeure.

• Michael (10/5): Location location location! Best stay to see all of Rome - Property was incredibly spacious and is decorated in a way that makes you feel at home instantly. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the balcony was a nice touch. Literally a block away from the Pantheon and walking distance to all major attractions in Rome. The owner, Emmanuel, was always easy to contact and never left us in the dark regarding anything. I would definitely recommend to a friend The only con was that it’s on the 3rd floor and while we were there the elevator was still being built. It looks like it’s near completion for what it’s worth but none of that is the owner’s fault and he made sure to warn us of that before we arrived

En stor og hyggelig leilighet i en historisk gård, med veranda som vender mot en stille bakgård. Leiligheten er godt utstyrt. Helt problemfri innsjekking, da det ble gitt god informasjon i forkant. Husverten Emmanuel gjorde en fantastisk jobb under oppholdet og holdt kontakten for å forsikre seg om at alt var vel eller om vi trengte noe. Alltid imøtekommende. Her bor du trygt. Jeg kommer definitivt tilbake hit. Ingen heis, men det var jeg klar over. Den er sikkert funksjonell til neste gang.

• Diana (9/5): - Location! Stairs are 28 per flight X 3 = 84 each way!! Narrow spots on stairs where the elevator is that you can’t use. We had a problem with the air conditioner but that can happen to anyone.

The location was ideal. It was great to be so close to the Pantheon and within walking distance of most other tourist attractions. The apartment was perfect for myself and my son. The host was very friendly and helpful and always a message away for any questions or recommendations. The apartment is cozy and well equipped and has a nice terrace where we enjoyed a nightcap in the evenings. There is a restaurant right by the entrance to the building which is very convenient.

• Louisa (6/5): Pleasant - very close to lots of things in the city center. Nice spacious apartment. Mattress was comfortable, except it had a sloped dipped part on one side. It was very hot in Rome, so when you have to turn all the electricity off every time you leave the apartment, when you return, it was always really hot and took forever to cool down. Front door to the apartment was difficult to open. The tiny knob to turn and open, kept falling off. the bathroom sink was sloped downward and slightly wobbly. Concerned that it could come off the wall if you leaned on it at all. The pictures online showed the apartment looking much nicer than reality. it was a very tough climb up three long flights of stairs to carry luggage to the apartment. I noticed the elevator had been mentioned two + years ago that they were building an elevator, and it is still not operable. Even if you get to use the elevator, you have to climb up half the first flight of stairs before you get to the elevator. Anyone with mobility issues would have a very tough time coming and going from this apartment.

The bed was very comfy and the terrace was lovely to relax on after a busy day site seeing. Emmanuel the property owner was super helpful, answered any questions quickly and was very communicative. 3 flights of steps could feel a lot for some guests, but as a positive helps with burning off all those fantastic Italian food calories!!!

• David (9/5): Overall this place was a great experience— quiet neighbors, clean apartment, attentive host; I would recommend it to any - The location was exceptional— basically right next to the pantheon and a bunch of shops and restaurants surround it, as well as a short walk away from Piazza Navona. It was clean and cozy and had everything you’d need and extras. The host was very friendly and communicative— responded in a timely manner especially if there was something we needed to know about fast. The amount of stairs wasn’t entirely specified on the site when booking— we were on the third floor and the flights of stairs were longer than average without an elevator and traveling with someone who had previous heart conditions it was a little concerning a few times by the third flight of stairs. The bathroom also had a musty smell from lack of ventilation— but it was tolerable

The location is right around the corner from the Pantheon in central Rome and it is very easy to get to all the main spots. And Emmanuel is a super responsive host who did everything to accommodate special requests. There is nothing we did not like. Fun fact: It takes a few minutes to figure out all the light switches in the apartment.

• Jan (8/5): Fantastic location; great communication with Olivia and Fabio who couldn't have been more helpful. - Location is SUPERB - 20 yards from the Pantheon. As the apartment is at the rear of the building there is very little noise. During our stay a lift was being installed through the stair well which meant there was some noise during working hours but this was no major intrusion; the workmen were courteous and helpful.

• Zoe (4/5): Great location but apartment unkept and dirty - The location of the property was perfect. The host was contactable and answered quickly We arrived and the apartment wasn’t ready for an hour after we agreed. We were so tired and disappointed. We started travelling at 3am and were looking forward to relaxing before we had to leave at 4.30pm to a booked attraction. It was a late check in already. They allowed us to sit on the balcony for an hour while the apartment was cleaned. This wasn’t finished until 4pm. The clean was dreadful. Everywhere you looked was dirty. Mirrors smeared, tiles with grime on, worktop and hob sticky, the balcony was neglected and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. It wasn’t when we were there after the previous occupier. It was generally grubby and unclean. This apartment could be fabulous. We loved it being on the third floor. It was quiet but It needs a thorough clean and some tender loving care. We booked the apartment knowing there were 90 steps up to it. The day before we arrive, we’re told there are builders and they are putting in a lift! The rubble bags were nearly stacked but it wasn’t always easy negotiating rubble on the steps climbing up and down the stairs. If a builder was there he would sweep the steps before we walked down on the area he was working but he wasn’t always there so it was sometimes more difficult. The host did not charge us the city tax of £24 but to be honest this wasn’t a great compensation but appreciated.
• Annewil (4/5): Next time I'll book something else - The location is great of course. The communication with the host, Olivia, is wonderful. She's most kind and helpful, but certain things are beyond her control. Like everyone else has mentioned, the 3 flights of stairs to come up to the apartment were 3x 30 steps. Currently (April-May 2024) they are constructing a lift in the middle of the staircases. This gave an incredible amount of dust, that made these staircases very slippery, VERY DANGEROUS!! BE AWARE that if you are travelling with young children (ours are 3 and 5 years old) or elderly people, this is a very dangerous situation. You also don't just walk out of the apartment, it is quite the hassle to go up and down with small kids (and groceries), inhaling all the dust along the way is no pleasure.

• Diana (2/5): Smelly, run down property that wasn’t worth the cost - The location was excellent, but that was the only thing it had going for it. The fact that there was wifi was the only other positive. Fab and Olivia who we dealt with on arrival and departure were wonderful and kind, but they are not the property owners. The property is run down and tired. There are many repairs, refurbishing and renovations that need to be done to make it worth the money we spent to stay there. The worst was the smell - there was something wrong with the toilet flusher. It worked while we were there though a repair man came (not sure what he fixed) We had to keep the bathroom window open and door shut the entire time because of a septic smell coming from the bathroom that permeated the whole unit. The toilet itself wasn’t even fixed to the floor! The air con-conditioning switched on but even at the coolest temperature did not cool either room. The kitchen was not well equipped. even for a basic breakfast there were not enough cereal bowls for a family of four. The patio area is not a space you want to be in. Sitting out there you’re surrounded by dead plants, broken pottery and cleaning supplies.

• Tom (9/5): Pleasant apartment - Superb flat in ideal location. Very nicely laid out for 4. Good kitchen, air conditioning very welcome after a day in the summer heat. The terrace is actually quite large and suitable for dining or drinks. Nothing. Liked it all.

• Vlatka (2/5): Altogether - would not recommend and would not come back. - The location was perfect! The flat is on the top floor with 86 veeeery steep steps to the flat. It was a nightmare, especially as I have informed the host that I'm coming with my two daughters and my mom who is 80 years old. She didn't think that she should warn me that she will surely have difficulties reaching the flat. And we have stayed there for 3 nights. Terrible, really terrible. In addition, as the flat is just across (couple of meters literary) of a hotel, you will have the noise of air condition even if you shut all the doors and windows. You will not be able to sleep from it. Altogether - would not recommend and would not come back.

• Marcel_travel (10/5): New home in central Rome - The apartment was at a perfect location for all our plans. It was huge and we felt very much at home. The little balcony/ terrace is peaceful and an excellent spot to calm down. We will be back. There are a lot of stairs.

• Tim (8/5): Perfect location for sightseeing - Fantastic location. Within walking distance of the famous attractions. Surprisingly quiet even on the terrace of an evening. Great little osteria Next-door if you are too foot sore to look around for a place to eat. Many places to eat locally including a risotto restaurant and for those who are gluten intolerant many places can provide gluten free pasta and pizza. There are 3 long flights of stairs, 86 steps in total, so you need to be fit going up and down several times a day. The decor is rather tired and could do with a spruce up. Kitchen is very basic, OK for breakfast but you need to eat out of an evening, which is not a great hardship.

Lovely and very responsive, attentive host. Having an elevator would be very welcome. Should let guests know when they arrive to wait 5-10 minutes between toilet flushing. Not a big deal, just good to know.
• Basak (10/5): Fantastic stay - Olivia is a great host, I didn't know when I could check in and she arranged a self-check-in for me even though they were not doing it for a while. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. I could only stay one night and the weather was not good, so I couldn't enjoy the terrace as much as I would like, but it has a nice terrace to enjoy some wine. The kitchen had everything I needed and looked like the pans were all new, therefore very clean. The coffee jar was almost empty so I had to buy that but that's not really an issue for me. The location is unbeatable if you want to be near the central historical attractions. The apartment is right next to Pantheon. Overall a fantastic stay, and I would love to be back one day. I can't fault the hosts for this at all, but I think it would be beneficial for people to know that the apartment is on the 3rd floor, without an elevator.

The bed and the sofa were very comfortable. The balcony is great, especially in summer with a glass of wine. The location is perfect. It is in the very center of Rome, a walking distance from all historic sites. We never used metro or bus to reach somewhere. There are many restaurants and cafeterias within a few meters. Olivia is a great host. She helped us from the very moment of our arrival to Rome, or even before that: She was so nice that let us keep our luggage in the apartment even before and after check in. She was always available and very responsive. The place is a perfect both for short and long-term stays. We’ll surely book the apartment again during our next trip to Rome.
