- Valentin (1/5): Offering this property for rent on Bookings undermines the image, reliability, and credibility of Bookings. Offering thi - I would like to make a formal complaint to this property located in Piazza Castello No. 99 - Piazza Castello Downtown Turin.
I've rented through Booking.com on multiple occasions and have never had such a negative and disastrous experience in my life. I've been scammed by the people renting this property.
1. The accommodation does not have sheets, towels, or pillowcases, so it is impossible to sleep or bathe properly.
2. Guests are NOT notified in advance about this situation (NO sheets, towels, or pillowcases neither) and only find out when they arrive at the accommodation. Therefore, there is NO way to plan the purchase or carry these basic items in advance.
3. I would especially like to emphasize that there is NO way to find out this basic information because it is NOT wrote so cannot read in the Important Information or Property Policies sections.
Regarding the check-in penalty policy, it is a scam:
4. The information regarding the 120 euro penalty for late check-in is very difficult to find on the property's rental portal. I consider this fraudulent policy and fraudulent information, causing significant harm to guests and therefore a scam.
5. The portal does not inform us that the penalty must be paid in cash. When we arrived at the property, we didn't have any cash and were threatened. We were told that if we didn't have the 120 euros in cash, we wouldn't be allowed to enter the property. We were mistreated by the people who manage the property; they are scammers.
6. The check-in time, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, is extremely limited and restricted for people traveling from around the world who may experience some kind of mishap or minimal delay upon arrival in the city.
7. The 120 euro penalty for arriving after hours is excessive, illogical, given the high amount in relation to the rental price of the accommodation, and a scam.

- Ármin (5/5): Poorly equipped, but good location. - The location is great, on the main square of Torino. The apartment is not well equipped. The host does not provide bed linen and towels and this was only revealed after payment! There are no curtains on the windows. The kitchen lacks basic kitchen utensils such as a cutting knife or a kettle.
