• Frances (9/5): - Underfloor heating in tha bathroom, nice big high beds, milk in the fridge. Apartment interior was lovely, but outside shared foyer and stairs were grubby and neglected (not owner's fault, obviously).

Het bovenste appartement aan het einde van de straat, direct aan het holyroodpark met uitzicht op Arthur's seat. 20-25 min loopafstand van edinburgh castle. De entree van het appartementencomplex (trappenhuis) is aan een opknapbeurt toe.

• SEG (10/5): Edinburgh in February - It was in a very quiet location. It was clean and the welcome pack was a very nice surprise. Beautiful views out of nearly all the windows. Not quite as big as the photos make it look. A bit too far to walk into town but bus stops not too far away.
• MOHAMMAD (8/5): المكان حلو انصح فيه للسكن للشباب والعائلات الصغيره ومو بعيد عن السنتر تقريبا ربع ساعه مشي او بالباص 5 دقايق مشي لمحطه ال - المكان سكنت فيه 3 ايام وجيته بالليل الحاره تخوف بالليل لكن يوم صحيت الصبح صراحه المكان اسطوووري مطل على جبل وخضار تجربه جميله مافي مصعد والشقه بالدور الاخير واللي معه كبار سن او شناط ثقيله بيتورط فيها
• Carolin (10/5): - Tolles Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmern, einem gemütlichen Wohnzimmer mit kleinen britischen Kamin, voll eingerichtete Küche, sauberes Bad. Die Lage war ein Traum. Super ruhig mit Blick auf den Park. Zur Fuss ca 15 Minuten bis zum unteren Ende der Royal Mile. Ein großer Supermarkt ca 15 Minuten fußläufig. Zum Empfang standen Blumen, Tee, Shortbread, Obst auf dem Tisch.

• Guest (7/5): Está bien, pero pòco más - El apartamento es confortable en cuanto climatización y es espacioso. Tiene unas vistas formidables a Holyrood Park. Tranquilo y silencioso, aunque como estas de viaje no lo aprovechas mucho. Está bien equipado y te encuentras algunos detalles a la llegada; frutas, galletas, leche… La ubicación no es realmente lo mejor. Está situado detrás del Palacio Real y tienes que dar un gran rodeo para llegar hasta la Royal Mille. Puedes acortar camino cruzando el parque, pero la vuelta de noche no es aconsejable ya que apenas tiene iluminación (más bien ninguna), y si está lloviendo, cosa que ocurre si o sí, te pones de fango hasta los tobillos. Algunos aspectos del interior no son muy agradables, tanta moqueta y alfombras que no presentan un aspecto de mucha limpieza. Con un suelo de madera, no entiendo la necesidad de alfombras… Otro aspecto negativo es el edificio donde se encuentra el apartamento. Viejo, descuidado y sucio, sin ascensor y escaleras para llegar a una tercera planta cargado de maletas tienes que tener una buena forma física y buena musculatura; y sin luz en el portal de entrada, necesitas de linterna para manejar la llave.No da buena impresión.

I've stayed in a few of these kind of places where they don't even leave you a tea bag, but our hosts were thoughtful enough to provide everything, even a small container of milk in the fridge. Not only that, there's a folder in the apartment containing all the information you could possibly need, as well as things like recommendations for some good pubs and cafes :o)
• Stuart (5/5): We would not have stayed here had we known the amount of steps to carry our suitcases. - Apartment was pleasant with comfortable beds. There are 62 steps (no lift) to reach the apartment and this was not disclosed in the Bookings.com advertisement (only after booking was confirmed). This transparency is essential for older groups or those with mobility issues. There is limited nearby parking and expensive (with 4 hour restrictions which impacts your day). The flat has a washing machine but no dryer.
• Christof (8/5): Perfekter Startpunkt für Edinburgh - Der Gastgeber hat eine perfekte Beschreibung zum Auffinden der Wohnung, des Schlüssels und zu allen wichtigen Dingen rund um die Wohnung erstellt. Extrem Vorbildlich! Die Wohnung liegt perfekt für die Erkundung von Edinburgh zu Fuß oder per Bus! Einkaufen um die Ecke bei diversen Anbietern. Bushaltestelle 7 Minuten zu Fuß mit vollem Gepäck , perfekt! .. das wurde mit dem Vermieter persönlich besprochen :-D

Clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Appreciated free wi-fi and washing machine. Rooms are small but well appointed and maximize use of the space. Had some trouble with temperature regulation in the shower even after reading instructions.

A home from home with added little extras Although not the hosts fault, the entryway had a lot to be desired. Not been cleaned or had a lick of paint in decades 🥴 Overpowering smell of marijuana at times!

The fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy, and the stunning views from the windows added a magical touch. The partment on the top floor less practical, especially for elderly residents.

If you enjoy walking it’s the perfect place to stay - The apartment was warm, clean, so relaxing and in the best location for walks around the old town and Arthur’s seat. • Marica (9/5): We fell in love with Edinburgh and Scotland. - The apartment is situated in a beautiful area of Edinburgh, next to Arthur's seat and Holyrood Castle. It's about 15 mins walking distance to 'the mile'...30mins to Edinburgh castle. Neighbourhood is very quiet. The block of building looks old, however don't get mislead as the apartment is very well maintained, clean and spacious with beautiful views of Holyrood park.

Even with a torn ACL, the stairs were easy to navigate. It was peaceful and quiet and very comfortable. The flat is a short walk from a TON of grocery stores just up the hill. The Palace and Parliament were a short walk. LOVED the area and the access to the park was perfect. I can't wait to stay here again.

We were unable to open the bedroom window However, this was mostly due to us not understanding how it worked and were afraid to break it. A little guide in the property booklet would be much appreciated.

• Andrew (9/5): This apartment is a hidden gem. - Really good location. Good view of Holyrood park from the windows. Short walk to the city and shops. Apartment is well presented, bright and very clean. Temperature indoors just right. The fresh fruit, biscuits and tea and coffee were welcome. Requires a stand alone washing up dryer because the current one which fits over the sink is too small.
