• Deels (10/5): - The location was fabulous..surrounded by big beautiful houses.A five min walk to local pub n a few shops and train station.Turn left out of the house and a 15 min walk gets you to Lord street where there are lots of little boutique shops and bars plus a nice little shopping area.There is a bus stop if you don't fancy walking g or driving 10 yards from the Apartment on the same side.The bus comes at 10 to the hour,£2 Will take you right into the main town centre..literally a 5 minute ride. There was nothing we didn't like.We found no faults.The host was very good,giving us all the information we needed. The Apartment was perfect.

• LMB75 (10/5): - This apartment is gorgeous. So spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you need. Well situated with street parking available which was never a problem. Communication with host was easy and efficient. Arranging access was very straightforward. If in Southport again, I'd stay here again, without hesitation. I loved everything but if I'm being really really picky, there are a few minor bits I'd consider. We took my parents, who are in their late 70s. The access was ok for them, but I'd have a rubber bathmat available for safety and a loo brush in both toilets for keeping it clean. The steps up to the front door are black which could do with a white edge line or similar, as they both felt a little nervous on the steps. This is obviously in response to our very specific circumstances, but might be worth a thought. Otherwise, we loved everything ❤️

We will definitely be back. Everything we needed was provided. The property is close to all local amenities too which was an added bonus. Pet friendly with a garden that is accessible. This made our stay here exceptional. Not applicable. We loved everything about our stay and we would highly recommend. The are wanting to stay for a few weeks at the beginning of the year for some rest and recuperation with our family and friends.

• Olivia (7/5): Lovely and spacious - The property was lovely and spacious. Living room was lovely and had a comfy sofa. Kitchen was easy to use Bathroom was modern. Kitchen was easy to use, however the dishwasher was broken, which we only found out when we arrived, rather than beforehand.

Kitchen was well equipped with everything we'd need. Location fantastic, short walk into town meaning it was quiet at night. Well placed for local restaurants etc. Highly recommend The Fisherman's Rest 10 mins walk away!!! Host was very responsive when asked questions, lock box for key was nice and easy to access. Nothing we didn't like! Perfect.

• Brian (10/5): Superb. Book it while you can. - The appartment is very, very, good. Located on the first floor of the old Victorian house with a door up to 2 appartments at the side of the property. Inside and upstairs are 2 doors for appartments 1 and 2, (2 is on the second floor). It is very large as are all the rooms. Both bedrooms are very big with a king bed and bunk beds in one and a sofa bed in the other. The lounge and kitchen are also very big, the lounge with large sofas and dining table and the kitchen had everything we could need to cater for ourslves. The bathroom has a large shower AND a bath and there is a second toilet in a seperate room. The owners were very accommodating and provided us with a cot and high chair for the little one. The place was spotlessly clean. We loved our time here, (4 days), and would very happily reccomend it to friends and will certainly come back when we're in Southport. A wonderful property. I couldn't reasonably expect anything more from the owners or property.

Dish washer out of order, we were just unlucky with that. Settee uncomfortable but that is personal preference. Instructions for the oven would have been helpful. Otherwise all good.

It was well equipped and Lauren, the host, was very helpful. The area was quiet with good access to the local area. It would have been useful to have 2 sets of keys. The sofa bed was a little hard, but we had taken our inflatable mattress so it didn’t bother us.

• Daniel (10/5): Such a lovely place to stay - family of 7 - Lovely and clean, such a lovely space, really close to everything you could need in southport, really great value for money. Fitted 7 of us with ease and all you could need for little one, cot, highchair ect. Will 100% be staying here next visit to southport.
• Daniel (9/5): A few touches away from greatness. - Location was just outside of town centre but still lovely and quiet. The apartment was spacious and had everything you could need for the week. 2 toilets came in very handy for a family of 6 not having to wait for a bathroom to be free and the hosts were most accommodating with an early check in and cot. A few minor gripes stopped this from being a 10 out of 10. First of all the couch was broken and therefore not the most comfortable, the dishwasher was out of order, the selection was cups/mugs weren't great and the fridge was not full size- this made it difficult to get shopping in. There were no toilet brushes in either bathroom, the mattresses were a little hard (though I appreciate this is personal preference) and finally the lamp in the living room isn't sufficient to light the room, maybe one more in the opposite corner near the TV? These things are minor and easily fixable and so I am happy to still rate this apartment 9 out of 10. Just those slight things took the edge of what was otherwise a perfect trip.

The apartment is absolutely stunning, it far exceeded my expectations and is a credit to the wonderful host. It was very tastefully decorated and had everything you needed to have a comfortable home from home stay. The location is excellent and within walking distance to the main town centre but this did not affect the stay as the area is very quiet. Lauren was a very helpful host too and gave us tips for the area. We loved it and we hope to return in the future, if you find it available, do not hesitate to book it, you will not regret it! • Sarah (10/5): top class stay in spacious apartment - Another fabulous stay in this beautiful, spacious apartment. It was like a homecoming, with comfy beds, bright white linens, and well equipped kitchen. Lauren is amazingly helpful and responsive and all in all, we love staying here.

The property is spacious, clean, decorated well and has everything you need on a short break. The apartment was so nice that we didn’t want to leave. Ideal for families, we had 3 adults and 3 children under 6 and we had plenty of space. My step son is autistic and we worried about him settling in new surrounding, but he loved it also. Wonderful communication from the host at all times. I have zero complaints.

Great location with first come basis on street parking. Our 2 little dogs had a very fabulous holiday. Nothing to note. It’s really lovely. We could maybe make a few suggestions however these are not criticisms. A instruction manual for heating, dustbins etc A note on the property description that it is up 3 flights of stairs. It was very well situated for shops and restaurants and to explore the area. Parking was easy, we slept soundly every night in pristine clean sheets and cooked in the spacious clean kitchen. Couldn't rate this highly enough. Lauren was fantastic, (the host) always on hand to answer questions about the area and looked after us very well. Lovely and warm too. Nothing, it was perfect, better than anticipated.

Reliable and quick to respond hosts A lovely flat but it was quite cold and the radiators were only luke warm, maybe a little more warmth at this time of year. Just a suggestion but maybe there could be 2 bedside tables per room and a hairdryer.

It’s beautifully presented and furnished, spotlessly clean, strong wifi signal and quiet at night. Everything our family needed and then some. The bedrooms were huge with lovely comfy beds, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was fresh and clean. Where it was located was a 10 to 15 minutes walk away from the main attractions of Southport. It was a lovely place for my family of 5 and we would most definitely stay again next year. Nothing 😊
