• Rene (10/5): Een uitstekend verblijf in een oase van rust - Een heerlijk hotel op een rustige plek en toch dichtbij alle voorzieningen. Het personeel zorgt ervoor dat je niets tekort komt. Er is geen ontbijtbuffet maar elke avond kan je kiezen uit enkele opties voor de volgende dag en de tijd waarop het klaar moet staan. Het zwembad is heerlijk warm met kraakhelder en schoon water. Ook staat er standaard koffie, thee en koekjes klaar die je kunt pakken. Als we dan toch iets moeten noemen dan zou het ontbijt iets gevarieerder kunnen bijvoorbeeld ook een Indonesische optie erbij. Maar dit valt echt in het niet bij alle positieve punten.

• Richard (8/5): Good location, nice pool, great value - suites could be noisy if adjacent rooms occupied - It is in a great location for good restaurants and some antique shops on Tirtodipuran. The staff were really helpful. There is a great swimming pool. It is good value for money The restaurant was not open for breakfast, which could be a disadvantage. We stayed in a suite, and there are 2 wooden doors leading to other suites on both sides. Luckily, noone was staying in those suites but if they were, then noise would be an issue. When staff entered those other rooms, we could hear every singe foot shuffle and whsiper, as if they were in the same room. Imagine the tv being on different programs in all suites - what an impossible situation! But, overall, for the money, it was a great stay.

And quietly situated in middle of a big busy city. Great basis for trips to Prembanan, Borobudur etc. All was perfect☀️

• Jonathan (8/5): Great neighborhood. A fine alternative to a modern, boring hotel. - Enjoyed being in an older property with character. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was a delight, especially at sunset, where I drifted about on a large floating bean bag chair for an hour gazing at the changing colors of the sky, flowers in the trees and birds and insects flying about. It was heaven. The neighborhood was great with a couple of excellent restaurants just steps away. One has fantastic croissants in the a.m. Interesting shopping nearby. Hotel was nearly empty. We booked a suite with two rooms and another room. Accommodations were modern, and quite adequate. On our second night we ate at nearby fancy restaurant, and learned it and our hotel are on same parcel of land. Turns out there was an older wing of the hotel we were not aware of. Rooms much nicer, more luxurious and grander than ours. Didn't expect an upgrade, but a discrete upsell at check in to show us those rooms and we would have gladly paid more to stay in them. Next time.

Wish they sold refreshments. No fridge in room to keep cold stuff Laundry service was very very expensive. I would ask for a price before commiting. My bad ...

• Robert (10/5): Serenity in Yogyakarta. - The hotel is an historic home of a prince and is very beautiful. Great restaurant on the grounds and several great places to eat on the same block. The Mongo chocolate shop is delicious and directly in front of the hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful in arranging day trips. The breakfast was good, but not as elaborate as typical hotels.

It has USPs but also note - Cute, boutiquey, off the beaten track and set back from the road. Lots of relaxing greenery. Nice pool area. Room had no natural light. The connecting door to the next room had gaps in its fitting that meant voice and other sound passed between rooms.

• Elza (10/5): Perfect hotel in Yogyakarta !! - What a location!!! Right in the centre of Yogyakarta and yet an oasis of calm. As soon as you drive onto the property, you immediately realise that you are entering historical heritage. A beautiful building, lovely gardens and a delightful swimming pool. The ladies at reception are very friendly and helpful. They give you lots of tips on what to visit in the area. The rooms are simple but nicely decorated. In the street 200 m away are two fantastic restaurants where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant "Mediterran restaurant by Kamil ( fantastic cuisine !!!) and Monggo , a Belgian chocolatier. 3 top addresses together. Highly recommended !!! Nothing
• Catherine (9/5): Fantastic hotel with precious staff - Fantastic location close to restaurant area. The park and the swimming pool areas are charming. The reception staff is fantastic. They helped us with something we had forgotten in a grab, again a million thanks for that. Highly recommend! Note there is no breakfast option at the hotel itself but you can easily find something in the area. /

Very quiet for a city. No call to prayer or cockerel. Such comfy beds, great aircon and beautifully decorated rooms. No restaurant
