Guest Reviews
- Theresa (10/5): Your Perthshire home-away-from-home! - Great location, comfortable beds, spacious accommodations, lovely host.
- lorna (10/5): Fabulous! - Fabulous place to spend a few days. Great base for exploring. Quirky old property which has been beautifully restored. Everything screams quality from the wonderful bed linen and such comfortable mattresses to the beautiful bathroom. The kitchen with its mini Aga equally lovely.
Nice outdoor seating area. Clear skies with lots of stars when we stayed. Host was fab. On hand if you needed her but not intrusive.
I think this may be one of the nicest places we have stayed! Nothing

- Dave (10/5): Great location for any golfer! Would highly recommend staying here for any occasion. - Excellent space, brilliant decor and very comfortable beds. It had its own entrance and great sense of privacy. A little courtyard to sit out and enjoy the peaceful gardens. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

- Barry (10/5): Ideal base in large clean tidy apartment. - Very clean spacious 2 bedroom apartment with lounge dinning room and kitchen. Upstairs two large bedrooms with really big comfortable beds. Nothing to dislike
- Sarah (9/5): We loved our stay and definitely hope to return. Thanks Helen - The house and gardens are gorgeous. They have been stylishly renovated and everything feels top quality. The beds were huge and so comfortable. Loved seeing the red squirrels outside our windows and the deer running past. Spotlessly clean and everything was in good condition. Lovely location just off the centre of Coupar Angus down a long gravel driveway. Helen was at hand should we need anything. We were surprised not to have a welcome package of essential food items such as milk and bread. This is unusual for this type of booking in our experience.
We chose to cook pizza for 4 people and should have taken on board that there was a small electric aga. It took some juggling to get all pizzas cooked. Our fault as we should have read the description.
- Jacob (10/5): Do yourself a favour and just book it! - Incredible Nothing
- Martha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jade (9/5): Amazing cottage! Would definitely go back! - Cottage was beautifully decorated, each room was extremely tasteful. Beds are huge and comfortable! Cottage is much bigger than I realised from the photos when booking. Really nice after a long day of skiing to come back to a cosy stay and get away! Nothing we didn’t like however hosts house is attached to cottage unsure if they would be happy with outside noise such as bbq and drinks late into night.
- Helen (10/5): Amazing Amazing - The house and location for Glenshee was nothing less than perfect and gorgeous Nothing
- Nissa (10/5): Five star for the stay! Amazing house and top notch facilities. - Five star for the stay! Amazing house and top notch facilities. - Sarah (10/5): A beautiful, spacious house in lovely grounds, in a great area. - It is a beautiful house, very elegant and comfortable. Extremely spacious, everything is very high spec/well appointed. The little courtyard would be lovely for a drink in Summer. Grounds are beautiful with lots of wildlife to watch. Ideal for a weekend away, mini break or longer holiday.
- Anna (10/5): Comfortable and - Peaceful location, comfortable beds, lovely decor, great shower No complaints. Perfect stay!
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Everything you could need for a relaxing break.
Beautifully restored building.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theuwe (10/5): Highly recommended - very cosy retreat - This really was exceptional. We appreciated the many "real home" touches. This starts with a properly equipped kitchen - I have not seen an AGA in a rented cottage before - continues with the right pots and pans, goes via coasters for glasses and proper linen throughout and on and on. I loved the fixings which were all solid and well thought through - closer to what one would want in one's own home than to what one normally gets for public consumption. Colours and materials are spot one. This would be cosy any time of the year. In summer there is plenty of room to be outside. All basic shopping is within walking distance. The grounds are exceptional. One of Scotland's biggest Sequoias stands in them which illustrates that the term garden would be really inadequate. Helen and Alasdair were delightful hosts. We would gladly return. The weather ?
