- Marco Vinicio (9/5): -

- Vistas insuperables

- Natalia (9/5): - Widok był cudowny.
Namiot był bardzo czysty.
Obsługa miła i pomocna.
Opcja śniadania i jacuzzi dopełnia całość.
- Gina (10/5): Dejlig oplevelse / skal nok gentages senere - Dejligt sted at opleve. Helt i sit eget univers .

- pyogi (9/5): Unforgettable Views and a Peaceful, Private Stay - Our stay was truly memorable, largely because of the spectacular view. The drive up to the property was much easier than expected. The road is paved, and coming from Colorado, we have certainly experienced far more challenging mountain access. The dome itself was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen and bathroom were both in excellent condition, which made the stay comfortable and functional in addition to being romantic. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared for guests who want privacy without sacrificing basic conveniences. the hot water for the jacuzzi was not working properly on the evening we arrived. However, once we reported the issue, it was addressed, and it was fixed by the following morning.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Unmatched nature encounters, truly memorable experience. - We stayed in Dome 3, the dome and facilities were absolutely amazing and the wildlife we saw whilst staying there (especially early in the morning) was unmatched by ANY national park visit! Being in the setting it is - you’ll have to put up with a few insect bites.
- Arend-Jan (10/5): Fantastic stay with surrounding wildlife & the most stunning sunset you’ll ever experience! - Beautiful, very secluded dome with wonderfully helpful staff. I planned this as a surprise for my girlfriend, and the communication via WhatsApp beforehand was excellent. We also experienced the most stunning sunset we saw anywhere in Costa Rica. On top of that, wildlife surrounded us everywhere, like coatis, monkeys, hummingbirds, and toucans.
- Rachel (10/5): Een onwerkelijk, werkelijk schitterende plek! Geweldig!! Niets
- Anais (10/5): Everything was just perfect - Everything Nothing
- Stephen (9/5): This was an extremely satisfying experience. If you are looking to party this is not for you. If you are looking to be a - Serenity. So peaceful and quite
- Robert (10/5): - Peacefulness and beautiful views
- Amilcar (4/5): Nice relaxing romantic place - Las vistas - the views We can’t use the sauna. Never was warm enough! Too cold!!!
The shower had to be almost turned off to heat up because if you opened it too much or opened it a little more it wouldn't heat up.
The carpet was very dirty!!!
- Daisy (10/5): Comfortable place with beautiful view - Really nice place with an amazing view! The tent was super comfortable and clean! We had a great time and enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot! The staff was kind and the breakfast good! Nothing
- Fernandez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergio (8/5): Very good - The location of the site was incredible, right in the middle of the jungle, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful, especially with the dome. It was a fantastic experience to enjoy the tranquility, the sunset, and the wildlife around us. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The water in the jacuzzi wasn't hot, and unfortunately, they were unable to resolve the issue
- Norma (10/5): Once in a lifetime experience glamping in the jungle. - The views were absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect place to end our vacation in Costa Rica. Plenty of ways to unwind and intake all of Costa Rica's beauty. There was nothing that I did not like. Everything was to perfection. Just like it was described. My family is extremely pleased with our selection.
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Shyla (10/5): Very romantic and peaceful, a must stay if in the area of Costa Rica. Great experience - It was very cool! Amazing location and views.
- Christine (10/5): Absolutely incredible stay in spite of booking.com error - This is an exceptional place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just what we like. They bent over backwards to find us a room after booking.com didn’t send them our updated dates. They could not have treated us better. Booking.com for messing up our reservation. If there hadn’t been an open room we would have had to sleep in our car.
- Katy (9/5): Amazing place to rest and recharge solo. - Beautiful location. Very private. It had all the required amenities. Easy to drive to, no 4WD necessary, the road up was totally fine, small area with a few potholes easily passable with care. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Easy to order dinner for delivery. Coffee made to help yourself to at the reception area. I stayed solo and felt very safe. There are bugs but nothing out of the ordinary for the middle of the rainforest. There was a large spider in the sink area the ladies kindly removed for me. Housekeeping would have been nice but it did mean my stay was very private. The hot tub isn’t really a hot tub, I would say it’s more of a bath. The jets weren’t strong at all and it fills with leaves and twigs in the wind. No where to buy drinks so go via the supermarket on your way.
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayce (7/5): Good - Such a beautiful spot! The views are spectacular. We enjoyed looking out and watching the wildlife by the pool. Short scenic drive to town. Food delivery available . It apears that they are working to renovate and add new things to the property, I'd be curious to see how it all comes together in the future. We found they focused their attention on the domes as the apartments where run down and not equipped as well. Possibly a reno coming as they are no longer on the site. We unfortunately had a huge ant problem and had to throw out some food when we woke up. We where a group of 5 and wished there where more seats outside, easy fix thought !
- Kristy (8/5): - I stayed 2 nights in one of the "cabins" (my unit was not actually detached so a little odd to call it a cabin but whatever), not one of the domes. It was spacious (travelled solo and was in a room with apace for 5) and the views were amazing from the room and the property. I saw a Toucan fly by my first evening and the night sounds of the surrounding jungle were fabulous.
Kitchenette was adequate - had a microwave, mini fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, and basic tableware.
Road to access is paved except the final 50 yards and in good shape overall, it is very narrow, steep, and windy. The nearest restaurant is about a mile away.
Downsides: No hot water or A/C (happily high enough up that it did cool off enough at night that I slept pretty well) and I was pretty hot by the time I got there each day so the cool shower wasn't bad either.
- Ruth (10/5): - Beautiful view!
- Angela (8/5): Very good - The location of the Dome provided us with spectacular views. It was a unique first experience.
The breakfast was outstanding. I'd revisit just for breakfast! Having to go out to the bathroom if needed, especially during the night.
- Aaron (10/5): - El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again.
- GABRIELA (10/5): - Peace, beautiful views.
- Arthur (8/5): Very good - Dome had fantastic views, and the outdoor shower was great. Make sure you go on their circular jungle walk, lots of toucans, butterflies and other wildlife we hadn’t spotted elsewhere. Breakfast wasn’t as good as in other hotels we stayed at. The dome and pool were a bit tired and could generally do with some investment given the cost per night.
- Estefany (8/5): Cute domes with a stunning view - The views are amazing!! Breakfast was ok. Towels weren’t very clean. Inside the dome had some spiders (nothing to get afraid of, because it’s the middle of the jungle)
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Amazing views. Friendly staff. Very pretty well maintained grounds. Could have done with more lighting in the bedroom and a toaster. All the kitchen items listed weren't in the room (not sure if they were available on request).
- Korsen (9/5): Superb -
- Isabel (9/5): Serene. - Nice. Clean.
- Diana (9/5): Relaxing and amazing view - We loved the ambiente , the Garden, the Pool , the people ! Also the way to Get there …. And the view is Amazing !!! The pillows , too big and a little hard
- Victoria (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful place, the view is beautiful. They offered us a coconut juice upon arrival. The breakfast was really good, the orange juice was fresh orange juice. There is AC in the tent and a fan, it was cool and smelled really nice. It's surrounded by nature, the shower area was so beautiful, it's outside and you get the full nature experience.
There is no bus to el mirador from miramar, so make sure you plan yourself well to get there. I was informed by a local that the taxis from miramar charge 15 000 colones to go to el mirador ( its a 15 minute car ride from miramar to el mirador). If you're leaving from san jose, you have to take a bus from san jose to barranca then you have to take a bus from barranca to miramar. The bus from barranca to san jose, it's roughly 1h30 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the bus and route you take. When we returned to san jose, the bus from miramar to barranca cost us 1000 colones for 2, and the bus from barranca to san jose cost 7000 colones each.
It's a very romantic place, we had a good time.
Also, make sure you are not bothered by bugs, because at times at night, bugs come inside the tent, spiders, flys, we had to put the AC on and we also closed the lights to prevent more of them from coming inside. If you have anxiety with bugs, spiders, then think carefully, as there will be bugs in the toilet area and inside the tent.
It's a unique experience, I really loved it.
It was raining when we arrived, so we were laying down, watching the rain, and enjoying the beautiful view. You can see the full moon in the middle of the night, very beautiful moment.
Also when you cook, the kitchen is outside, so make sure you buy a mosquito spray because there is a lot of mosquitos in the area or you can just order from local restaurants, cost us 11 000 colones for two meals and that was including delivery.
- Thomas (10/5): Small, elegant and rustic cabins, wonderful landscaping! - Rustic, but elegant and comfy small group of cabins. Beautiful view, we saw the Milky Way at 3am in late May. Wonderful pool and hammocks abound, large areas of webbing for night sky viewing. Staff is efficient and available, other guests were respectful and quiet. We loved this place, beautiful landscaping too!
- Carina (9/5): Amazing view and unique overnight experience - Amazing view, very good breakfast, very friendly staff, nice pool, safe area.
- Carina (8/5): Nice stay with amazing view and beautiful garden - Stayed in one of the bungalows. Amazing view around the pool, good breakfast, nice garden
- Andrea (7/5): Good -
- Amber (10/5): A beautiful and tranquil jungle escape! - The location is remote, but that's what I went for. I wanted to relax and get away from daily life. The property is gorgeous and has hammocks throughout to read and relax in. I had a little kitchenette with all the necessary utensils and used it for some snack preparation. You can easily order food from some nearby restaurants and they'll bring it to your door. I also had the hotel breakfast delivered to my room, and it was so nice to have a warm and fresh breakfast that I didn't have to prepare. The staff were great and accommodated me showing up a little early and let me into my room. I was given a pipa upon arrival and that was a nice and unexpected treat. Everything is clean and as you'd expect! I stayed in the wooden house and I'll most certainly return. I would have liked a couple of lounge chair options to use near the pool, but it wasn't a problem as there weren't many people near the pool at one time and they also have the hammocks.
- Isaac (9/5): Superb - The amazing view, the observation net, pool. Go prepared with insect repellent because you'll be immersed in the forest.
- Manon (8/5): Very good -
- Björn (10/5): Peaceful and in Nature - Amazing view from the dome which was very private and with a great little outdoor kitchen. The people who worked there were so nice and friendly, especially Ileana. The pool was a great place to chill out and we saw monkeys there Nothing
- Björn (10/5): In the middle of nature - Great staff, amazing garden and pool, delicious breakfast
- Taylor (8/5): A cozy, quiet getaway nestled in nature, with friendly staff. - The cabin was a great value and very spacious, with a nice kitchenette. We added breakfast which was delicious and brought right to our cabin. I particularly loved the fresh fruit. The grounds are really lovely, with great views and friendly staff. They gave us a chilled coconut and straw upon arrival which was refeshing and a really cute welcome. The cabin was quite warm and muggy when we arrived. It only had 2 windows that opened, a rotating fan, and small dehumidifier so it took quite a while to cool the room. It eventually did the trick, but I would recommend airing the place out before guests arrive. Given how inexpensive and remote this place was it was a small tradeoff.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - The view from the dome was spectacular
- Juan (8/5): Beautiful views. - Fantastic views Not easy to reach. Limited access to food or staff attention.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ireneusz (1/5): Bad - Dirty mattresses, very dated room Everything
- Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Very good value. I would consider it a gem in Costa Rica, whether your are just on the way and want to stay here for a night or want to chill and disconnect for a couple of days, this location is truely wonderful and the name meets reality. The views are amazing and the staff was very friendly.
- Ulrik (9/5): Superb - Supergood location with great views, friendly staff and a great price for a big hut.
- Randy (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Nice cute hotel with an incredible view 🤩 they have little cabins and 3 domes. We stayed in a cabin which was perfect for us. They are well equipped (kitchen) and have hot water. The pool and the garden with an amazing view makes this place unique. We enjoyed 2 nights there. They are pet friendly. You can order food or go to the next store around 10 min in Miramar. It’s a quiet place what we liked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommended. Nothing
- Donna (7/5): Nice! Just don’t stay in the woodhouse - Iliana and staff
The view and sunset If you want to pay next to nothing- Stay here!
The wood cabin photos are deceiving - bath & kitchen on the gross side
Glasses were dirty
I guess thats why I kept asking about the cost!
Street Dogs barking right under our window - wish we chose the apartments -they looked great! but we didn’t need 3 beds
- Helena (8/5): Lovely sunsets - The location up a hill has a great view. Lovely colourful sunset. The cabin room has a good size, 3 beds and a little kitchen. The pool was refreshing but somehow it smelled too much of chlorine. We did not see the domes which means they are very private. The room was clean and had reading lights. Breakfast is available for an extra price but coffee is free. The dogs barking just behind the room. However when we told the staff they went and asked the neighbour to keep the dogs inside. Dogs barking is a worldwide problem these days but people should be told as it does affect guests who want a nice quiet evening. After 15 min of barking one gets a headache.
- Fries (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna-jane (9/5): Great overnight stay - Amazing location and spectacular views. A perfect place to chill out. Wish we had stayed for longer. Accommodation was lovely, useful having the small kitchen area. We ordered food in from a local restaurant which was great, so easy to do over What's App! Nice late check out. Breakfast was delicious too! The pool was super cold!!!
- Inderpal (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place with great pool and views!
- Lukas (10/5): Sensational view, highlight accommodation! - Everything was wonderful, great and very unique. We recommend taking the bus to Miramar, where you can be driven up by taxi driver Gustavo for little money. You can order food from the surrounding restaurants at the accommodation and eat "at home", we thought that was great. -
- David (10/5): What a ‘find’ - What a ‘find’ - lovely large and lovely accommodation, gardens, pool with excellent customer service at very good value. Easy to get to.
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible stay! Beautiful surroundings, fantastic views and comfortable living quarters. We very much enjoyed ordering breakfast to have after watching the sunrise from our terrace. We were lucky to see a coati on the terrace but otherwise it was very quiet and peaceful. It was a unique experience which we will never forget, thank you! Nothing!
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views, lovely pool area, really clean dome despite being in the middle of nature. Plenty of butterflies, humming birds and coatis around. If you don't like being in nature this isn't the place for you. Bed is a double so cosy for two.
- Sabena (10/5): Exceptional - I only booked this as a resting place driving from Manuel Antonio to Liberia airport, but wow, what a total gem of a place. Unmatched views of Costa Rica, superb sunset and equally gorgeous morning view. Beautiful gardens around the estate. Ulie the owner and the staff were very kind and welcoming too. Walking distance from the family run restaurant Dilan was nice for a windy evening too. It was a bit windy at 700m elevation but everyone took it in their stride as the views were worth it.
- Nicolene (10/5): Exceptional - We got a free upgrade, it is super chilled and relaxing. The staff is very friendly Nothing...I could spend a week there
- Gabriela (4/5): Maintenance needed - Beautiful views and very friendly staff I wanted to bring to your attention that out of the domos we rented, only one had air conditioning. As the temperature rises, it became a bit uncomfortable for us. Additionally, we've noticed a few maintenance issues that might need some attention.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (8/5): Gorgeous location, but the casitas could use some TLC. - The room was clean and spacious with a porch and a hammock. In the morning, you can get a nice, light breakfast and very good coffee. Also, we asked if we could do the laundry, and it was done for us (with payment) the same day. There is a nice small pool with a stunning view. It looks like the pods are a much better quality accommodation than the casitas. We looked at two, and they were cool and well-designed with an outdoor kitchen and shower but with complete privacy. Unfortunately, we couldn't get one for our dates. The shower was cold, the wifi weak, there was a kitchenette without a sink, and a few things didn't work properly. E.g. the door handle fell into my hand upon opening. Also, half of the toilet flush button wasn't working. You could still flush, but not fully. We reported both to the staff - they fixed the handle, but the toilet flush needed a plumber and so it didn't get fixed during our short stay.
- Mónica (10/5): Increíble - Calma, desconexion total y la naturaleza
- Francisco (9/5): Superb -
- Gregory (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the beautiful views, butterflies, pool - and the delicious breakfast. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
