O que era para ser uma estadia rápida entre duas localidades distantes tornou-se facilmente na vontade de voltar o quanto antes, sem a mínima margem para dúvida, será a nossa residência em Zambales, Filipinas, sempre que lá voltarmos. • Stuart (9/5): Peaceful and romantic location - Peaceful location perfect for couples with great views of the sea and sunset. Staff were extra friendly and very hospitable. Boat trip was organised for us at a very acceptable cost and provided excellent views of the mountainous areas of Zambales. Food was also very good offering some European and Filipino dishes. Overall a wonderful stay with excellent staff and very friendly owners who are more than happy to give you advice on the area. My arrangement for my stay was to propose to my now fiance and the staff and owners also made this a wonderful occasion and experience. Thank you so much!! There is very little to write here perhaps more shade in the courtyard area by umbrella but it's not a major concern for us as we were very comfortable in the rooms and restaurant area

The beach was clean and nice for swimming. The owners and staff were all helpful during our stay. They even pointed out our flat tyre and got it fixed. Nice, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can't think of anything.

• Riwsty Dhaka (8/5): Beyond Expectation in the Quiet side of Zambales! - 5 things: the food, the beachfront, the staff, the services and the fine dining experience. I did not expect much, actually, when I booked this, since it is not located in the crowded part of Zambales. But I was totally wrong. I had one of the best getaway in my life. In Sunbloom, one thing I always look forward to is the food, lunch and dinner. They have various of menu that even such picky eater like can love! The Sri Lanka chicken curry, the spaghetti with perfect al-dente, nice chopsuey and embutido, and fish burger, are amazing! the beach was relaxing as well, they have a good beach side (not crowded) with many sunbed and tent. And they keep it clean. the staff are the winner of this accomodation. I never find any staff that is so attentive and helpful. Even the smallest thing like tying up the shades to the sunbed, they were willing without to be asked. the owners will try to provide what you need with the best effort. They let me borrow the bike for free for sunrise trip, and they book me tricycle as well to go to the bus station. and the last one, they have their own pianist! during the dinner time! and they serve the dinner as the fine dining. Love it. It's my first time spending 2 hours on dinner. They do not provide slippers for the beach. The water pressure is a bit low during dry season (which understandable). Lack of lighting on wastafel/mirror. And they need to clean the seabed of their shore, I think. There are rubbish in the seabed.

• Flo (5/5): This place has high potential. Needs to work on a better food service system. Needs to address the cockroach problem. St - The bed and comforter was very comfortable. The beachfront was nice and a private beach. Food service was awful. Slow to serve, take orders and cook. The whole process was bad! Took almost 2 hours just to eat. Too much time to waste. Menu needs improvement and the cocktails were weak. Iced coffee was too sweet and more milk than coffee. Cockroach in the bathroom. Sewer smell from sink. Can’t bring food or drinks in the room or you’ll be charged for fumigation thus the cockroach I guess. Beach towels are too thin. Bath towels had stench.

• Arthur (10/5): A good time at Sunbloom Hotel & Restaurant in Candelaria, Zambales, Philippines. - A peaceful, secure location (with free parking) less than 50 meters from the water. The beach was practically deserted. Wonderful sunsets and ocean breezes flowing through the dinning area. Really great food with gourmet meals, wine and desserts a la carte. Free substantial breakfasts. Congenial owners and keen staff eager to provide with you an excellent stay. Showers with hot water. Good air conditioning and free wifi. Clean. No hassle car rental and shuttle to Manila or Clark airports. Spa massages available on short notice. Excellent all around. If you appreciate tranquility and good western and fusion cuisine there is nothing to dislike.
• Min cheol (6/5): - 식당 음식이 대부분 상당히 맛있으며 사장님 역시 식당의 음식에 대해 자부심이 있음. 직원들의 손님 응대가 너무나 친절함. 일단 숙소의 부대 시설에 비해 가격이 비싼편임 숙소안에 수영장이 없음 (비슷한 가격에 바로 옆 더 크고 좋은 리조트는 시설도 좋고 수영장도 있음) 작은 보트로 2명 스노쿨링 비용이 1인당 1000페소로 비쌈 외부 음식은 과자만 가능하며 방안에서 음주가 불가능하고 넷플릭스 같은 시청 서비스 역시 없음. 조식은 다 좋은데....동양식 조식이 없음
• Chris (2/5): Nice beachfront location and kind staff, but poor food quality and an unprofessional response. - The staff were polite and welcoming, and the room had a beautiful beachfront view. The resort was very quiet during our stay, which made it peaceful and relaxing. The main issue was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were very poor. The fish and chips had overly thick batter and were undercooked in places, and the fish did not seem fully cooked. The beef caldereta was tough, very fatty, oily, and unpleasant. Breakfast options were limited; while the cereal was fine, the omelette and bacon were extremely oily and inedible (See attached image). I raised these concerns with the front desk, and the owner’s son was accommodating and showed good customer service by offering a small gesture. However, there was no apology. At checkout, the owner responded defensively and dismissed the feedback. She suggested that because I am American, I may be used to additives or MSG, spoke negatively about Filipino food, and said she had never received a food complaint before, implying the issue was simply our preference. Guest feedback is part of hospitality, and it was disappointing that legitimate concerns were met with defensiveness rather than an effort to understand or improve. Additionally, there is no swimming pool. The room had a noticeable number of mosquitoes (likely normal for a beachfront location), and one beachfront room is occupied by an owner whose dog barked at us while we were on the beach. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hosts, Katie and Randy, went above and beyond to make us feel not just comfortable—but like family. The place radiates charm, surrounded by beauty, and every detail felt intentionally tailored to enhance the experience. From fresh coconuts retrieved just for us, to borrowing their trike to get a real feel for island life, to cheese omelets and special drinks that were genuinely life-changing—it was next level. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were perfect after a full day of ocean play. I even appreciated the feet washers just outside the door! The personal boat tour with Bai was an unforgettable highlight. The spa experience was another level of bliss—the twin massage therapists were there whenever we needed them for couples massages, and they worked magic every time. The entire staff was incredible—attentive, intuitive, and often one step ahead of our needs. The food? Bar none. The menu is a global adventure, inspired by Katie and Randy’s own travels. Don’t miss the Bicol Express—it’s a must. I love this place, and I’ll be back the first chance I get. 🌴✨ Absolutely nothing! Unless you count having to leave. 😭

Hotel Managers are honest, approachable and accommodating. The ambience is so relaxing and for sure we will come back! Huge 5 stars for this resort/hotel. Foods were amazing and exceeded our expectations. I need to leave back to our home so I did not have the time to experience their sumptuous breakfast. I could not think anything.

We had great aircon, hot water, fabulous bed, cleaned to a high standard. The choice of foods were exceptionally good, well prepared, staff were awesome and friendly, catered to all our needs. The ambience and views from the restaurant overlooking the ocean and sunsets were awesome. This establishment would be the best regional hotel/resort I have ever stayed in and I have travelled far n wide in the Philippines. There's nothing not to like about about this hotel. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

The place has huge potential ,it just need a few changes from wifi to food Wifi was bad, but second day we got router,I didn't like breakfast,i had high expectations after looking the menu the night before. The menu shows all international foods , from France to Italy and more.I was expecting to have like something close to what these international countries are known for. First the juice first day taste like the cheap one from 7/11 and the second day the juice was in powder form,that kind you mixed with water.it was very disappointing for an amazing location to serve that, and also Philippines is full of fruits even around the area we walked ,you can see fresh fruits every corner and cheap. I order Omelette but it came as just regular eggs and very oil, so I asked the friendly staff what happened ?And according to chef you have to say if you need anything to put in your omelette you could have say otherwise it comes like that,idk usually omelette has some stuff inside and I showed the picture to the staff if I wanted just regular scramble eggs I could just ordered that. There is no even fruits , for tropical country with full of fruits on the street and cheap It was below even continental breakfast thy usually even have an apple and banana. I let the staff know about this so next day to have a better experience and I offered to pay extra for fruits if needed other than wait to finish your stay and leave the review if they can improve I thought it will be nice to let them know,so they can make changes and make the guest have a different experience. Next day I asked to put whatever it usually in the omelette and it was very disappointing, the presentation of the omelette was not appealing at all ,so is the tasty, some tomatoes taste like they went bad and it looked like someone just throw them on eggs and it was very oily.Keep in mind the menus is based on International food again like Italy,France and more which are good when it comes to cuisines.
• Fujiyamatraveler (7/5): Nice stay. thank you. - The hotel is facing the sea and thus always cozy breeze comes from the sea. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves English breakfast and dinner, which may be good for some but not always welcomed by Asian people. The seaside was clean as the hotel staff clean up in front of the hotel. The most disappointed thing was that the small beautiful island Potipot was closed. The sea in front of the hotel was clean but was sand beach with muds in the bottom. However, we went to Magarawa island, introduced by the hotel, which was beautiful and just one hour by drive from the hotel. Time to serve foods was too long even for breakfast. There was no fridge even in the suite room.

Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. No complaints at all. And I would be the first to complain should there be one.

• Nbjulian (6/5): Pleasant - The place is suitable for those who want peace and quiet. Not much activity in the resort. There was no pool either. But the set up they created for us beside the beach where we had our after dinner drinks saved the day. It was relaxing esp with the sound of the wave while having a drink or two and listening to ambient music. My suggestion - put up a small pool or jacuzzi. The area has enough space to spare anyway. Set up an ambient reading nook (saw plenty books you can borrow at the check in counter) game and music rooms to have more activities. The food is okay. Only a few selections on the menu though. Would be nice to put up bbq pits and have a bbq night with drinks. The staffs are commendable and extend extra help if needed.

• Angelique (4/5): Disappointing - Location is nice, quite near from the hi-way. The rooms are quite spacious. Service and Staff are nice too. First, it is sad that the owner do not allow food inside the facility and no corkage too. Furthermore, I am not pleased with the served food from their restaurant. It needs a lot of improvements. Second, the drainage system in the bath room is blocked so waited for the maintenance staff to fix it before we enjoy taking a bath. Fortunately, they upgraded our room the next day and no complaints till the check out date.

The staff are all attentive to our needs, friendly and professional. The owners Mr. & Mrs. Gomez are friendly, accommodating and very hardworking and great listeners. And even recommended some places and activities to do. A quiet and relaxing place for a family vacation. The place is new and still under the improvement and beautification process. But did not hinder to our enjoyment of our beautiful get-together family vacation.

The staff are very courteous and friendly. We enjoyed swimming on the beach because the water is so lovely and the sand is fine. I think the resort lacks food options for traditional Filipinos. They can also add more storage in every room.

• Arnae (10/5): Great place, great people, superb accomodating, hostipatility is great. The food looks presentable but blant, no seasoni - Quiet place and this is the place you wanna stay if you wanna relax. No shower area after you swim to the beach but they have faucet for feet if you need to wash. hehe
• Michael (10/5): The courtyard is extraordinary with its Tuscan designed arches and central feature of a water fountain. - It’s not often you can step out of a luxury room onto a terrace through tasteful French double windows and walk 30 metres through palm trees and sand and swim in the warm Philippines sea. n/a
• Wilbert (9/5): Superb - We stayed at the superior suite which I highly recommend. It has a glass door that opens directly to the beach, which was really nice. The room was immaculately clean. The free breakfast was really good and satisfying. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The owners, Randy and Katie, are gracious hosts. Nothing major. Wifi strength was not very stable, but I attribute that to the fact that it was Christmas/Christmas eve when there was heavy usage. Also, I love to drink beer. If it was allowed to be consumed on the beach I would have loved to have a drink or two in the evening to relax while listening to the surf. But it's just a minor quibble. Overall we highly enjoyed our stay on this property.
