Stefan (7/5): Works for a quick stay - Location is good, and bed was comfortable. The room is not sound proof and you have to use 4-5 keys for gates and doors, more attention could be given to the room decor and facilities.
Celine (10/5): Cosy Comfort in a Colourful Setting - A charming and colourful neighbourhood—perfect for snapping memorable photos! The room was neat and cosy, with beautiful décor and an incredibly comfy bed. The coffee machine was nice, and I enjoyed Netflix in the room. Highly recommended! Would have loved a minibar and a mini milk carton, but all in all was a beautiful stay.

The room did not have proper AC (just some air fan), so the room was warmer inside than outside. That was ok at this time of the year but probably not ideal in summer time. The shower water was either quite super hot or super cold, which wasn't ideal. In addition, the room faces an internal patio, so not that much of a view

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Our room had a large window with locked shutters so was a bit gloomy.

Selma (1/5): Warning! Do not stay there! Money was stolen from my room, presumably by the staff. - Warning! Avoid staying here at all costs! We were robbed, and no help was offered. The owner refused to communicate and seems intent on ignoring the situation, hoping it will resolve itself. Everything about this experience was terrible. This accommodation should be removed from the website to protect future customers. Warning! Do not stay there! Money was stolen from my room, presumably by the staff. In the rooms of other guests, all belongings were also searched through. The owner did not adhere to agreements, showed no effort to find a solution, and eventually stopped responding to calls.

Gugu (9/5): Ideal quaint city stay - Stayed there the weekend I was running the CT Marathon. It was a walking distance to the start and end point which was quite ideal. It’s also a close to a lot of lovely restaurants which can be easily reached by foot. Was very happy to find that the other guests who were staying there were also runners. We all had a common goal and there’d be no one keeping others up late ☺️The staff were super friendly, helpful and efficient. The place looked like the pictures. Loved the idea of the shared fruit for all guests. The room was well decorated and comfortable. Even the check out experience was lovely. Nothing major - it was hard for me to not have a view of the outside. That was dependent on the choice of room I’d think but it didn’t take away from the experience. Parking in Cape Town is much like many European cities this place is ideal for those primarily using Ehailing that worked for me.

Elizabeth (9/5): Great accommodation in Cape Quarter - What a super spot! The bed was super comfy, the room and communal area were well-equipped (espresso machine was a bonus!) It was quiet (although if we had had loud neighbours it would have been a problem) Everything was clean. The location was perfect for us - close to everything but far enough away from the busy roads to be quiet. Not a dislike but a suggestion: bedside lamps would be a bonus.

Air (10/5): Very neat and well-decorated with warm lights in the room - The room is very neat and well-decorated with warm lights, featuring a private bathroom. You will find all you need: WiFi, towels, and a hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, etc. You will share a common area with others just outside your room, such as a coffee machine and kitchenette. We only stayed there for a couple of hours and left early the next morning at 4 am to move on to our next stop. Overall, we were pleased with the room and would choose to stay there again. It is feedback, not a complaint. Please ensure you provide clear directions to guide your guests to your accommodation address correctly. I am not sure if it was just our experience or if others also faced this issue. It took us some time to find the exact location and the entrance to the place. The host manager sent me the pin on WhatsApp, and despite using Google Maps, we ended up parking our car on the wrong side of the street. As we couldn't locate the host manager, he had to come to fetch us and guide us to the correct location. It was a bit clumsy. Apart from this, we were content with the room and facilities.

Depending on where you’re staying: the check-in is done in a different building a couple blocks away. Not very practical when hulling luggage. Would be easier if they just bring the sign in book with them to your stay.

No mirror in room. Lots of stairs (not suitable for older people) Unfriendly staff, nobody willing to assist with luggage when we booked out. Eventually manager of sorts assisted. Dishes stay dirty. Seems like staff is working at various venues. Everyday a new face. Not a happy experience.

The room and vacinity had a very nice ambiance and atmosphere to them. Everything was neatly organised and super clean. Can only Recommend! I'm sad we could only stay for one night. Will book again!

Jolinda (10/5): Short stay in CT. - The apartment was neat and clean, great for one night stay. There is a communal kitchen area to get your morning coffee - self-service of course. The host provides a permit for your vehicle to be parked outside the apartment. The apartment is centrally located, near restaurants and shops like Spar. The apartment building has a few stairs, to get to the apartment. So I will not recommend it for a person who has walking difficulties.

Sunet (6/5): Great location for exploring the restaurants and streets of De Waterkant and Groenpunt. - The location of this property is really amazing. We could walk to the nearby restaurants and explore the area - it is safe to walk around. Our room had access to the roof, which was very nice and had a relatively clear view of Table Mountain. The room is dated, the bathroom very, very small, the hairdryer didn't work. I got this room on a special Genius price. Will not pay the full price as advertised though.

Ben (7/5): Comfortable, lovely common area, good location - Inconvenient to do breakfast because it is a strenuous walk up the hill the extensive unlocking and locking to get in and out of the room was most inconvenient. This could be improved with digital locks. The bathroom door is very incoveniently sited. you have to always fiddle with the door to get to the toilet. Would be much better to have an external (bedroom wall) hanging sliding door

Julie (9/5): Superb - Great location, responsive staff. The place is very, very clean. For me the only downside was how small the room was but it was great value so I guess that’s the trade off. I felt a little lonely there so if you want a quiet place this might be it.
