The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout, always ready to assist no matter the time of day. The place was spotless, and the views of the sea were absolutely beautiful—such a peaceful setting. Being able to message anytime for help made the experience even more convenient and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again!
• Maria (8/5): Very very nice apartment - The check in and check out was very smooth. The apartment is well decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. It has everything you need for a short staying. The communication with the owner was very easy. There was nothing that I didn’t like but there’s always room for improvement. :) As I like to read on bed it was “missing” a bedside table lamp. Although it has dinnerware it was missing a bottle opener. Nothing that has spoiled our staying at all!!

• Eleanor (10/5): Convenient, clean stay near airport - Located close to the airport but also within a short walk from the beach and local restaurants. Room very big and clean with plenty facilities including air con and a small kitchen. Access to roof top pool a bonus. Host very attentive via WhatsApp. Luggage can be stored at reception. Good WiFi.

Clean, comfortable, studio apartment with everything you need, nice view and balcony, also washing machine . Upstairs roof top pool . Very helpful owner, message you to check everything ok and all info on apartment. Would definitely stay here again, very handy for arrival or departure to airport, Negombo is more relaxed than Colombo nice restaurants nearby. Nothing

• Gerry (10/5): Comfortabel onderkomen op 20 minuten van vliegveld - Ruim, comfortabel appartement met balkon, lekker bed, koffiezetapparaat en lekkere douche met warm water. Bovendien een heerlijk rooftopzwembad met ligstoelen gelegen op de 12e verdieping, waardoor het er wel hard waait. Restaurant, winkeltjes en strand op loopafstand. Niets.

• Nadeesha (8/5): - We had a really nice stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The sea view and city view were both amazing. Watching the fishing boats and the sunset from the balcony was such a lovely experience. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend.

• Roland (10/5): Schöne gemütliche Wohnung - Zentrale Lage, komfortable und gemütliche Wohnung, es fehlt an nichts. Der Wohnungseigentümer ist sehr nett und hilft überall wo er nur kann. Für uns hat er sogar die Weiterreise nach Candy , Ella bis nach Unawatuna organisiert, bei ihm klappt einfach alles und man kann sich auf ihn verlassen. Er ist immer erreichbar und löst jedes Problem. Vielen vielen Dank für alles! Das nächstemal buchen wieder diese Wohnung! Jolanta und Roland Imhof Alles bestens, es gibt nichts zu meckern!

• Christin (10/5): Comfortable stay close to the beach - The apartment is really spacious, light and comfortable and it offers everything we needed, including a washing machine. From our room we had a beautiful view onto the ocean and within two-minutes walk we were at the beach. Around there are plenty of restaurants and little shops. The communication with the host was very friendly and proactive. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place to anyone who likes privacy and being close to the center. We will definitely come back. All was perfect.
• Isabelle (6/5): Gute Lage und Service, aber Sauberkeit mit Schwächen - Das Hotel punktet eindeutig mit seiner zentralen Lage – alles ist gut erreichbar, und die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Besonders praktisch war auch, dass eine Waschmaschine inklusive Waschmittel und Wäscheständer zur Verfügung stand – das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich und war für längere Aufenthalte ideal. Leider gibt es aber auch einige Punkte, die verbessert werden sollten. Das Bett war extrem hart, sodass an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Außerdem lag bei meiner Ankunft eine tote Kakerlake in der Dusche, und der Lüfter im Bad war stark verschmutzt, offenbar seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr gereinigt. Auch die Klimaanlage bläst direkt aufs Bett, was unangenehm ist. Insgesamt wirkt das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leicht schmuddelig – mit etwas mehr Pflege könnte hier deutlich mehr draus gemacht werden.

• Ekaterina (9/5): Все отлично, советую для проживания - Из плюсов: апартаменты расположены в новом 12-и этажном здании, само помещение достаточно просторное, все чисто, имеется большой балкон, где можно наблюдать вид на море и окрестности🤩, большая двухспальная кровать, холодильник, стиральная машина. Приятным бонусом стало наличие шампуня, геля для душа, средства для стирки. На 12 этаже есть бассейн и лежаками. Хозяин оказался очерь добрым и порядочным человеком, у меня не было возможности оплатить по карте, также не вышло через банкомат, и он сам лично приехал ко мне чтобы забрать наличные. Также оперативно решил вопрос с вай фаем, так как у него имеется дневной лимит. В позднем отъезде хозяин апартаментов также пошел навстречу и разрешил выселиться в 6 часов вечера. Спасибо ему большое!!! Доставило небольшое неудобство наличие лимита у вай вая, однако это проблема оператора, а не данного жилья
• Sam (1/5): Harassed by owner to send money via WhatsApp, threatening the police. - The owner kept harassing me to pay them as soon as possible even though the booking was secure through booking.com with all my payment info available. They threatened me with the police to make me pay as soon as possible. It really ruined my stay, I’ve never experienced such a desperate, untrusting owner.
• Vivienne (8/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und man hatte alles was man braucht, inkl. Waschmaschiene und Waschmittel. Der Pool ist sauber und man hat eine sehr tolle Aussicht für den Sonnenuntergang. Der Pool hatte nicht genügend Liegen für alle Gäste was etwas ärgerlich war. Das Gym ist sehr klein.

It amazes me that the hotel can afford six security men, doing very little, but can’t afford to supply the gym with a water bottle as shown in promo photo.

• Peter (7/5): Good - The apartment was comfortable and well equipped (Needs a corkscrew and bottle opener). Good soundproofing. The owner and building staff were excellent and dealt quickly with any issues.Great views from the roof and from the room balcony. The rooftop pool was in a poor state with lots of tiles fallen off and lying at the bottom of the pool.. The pool water was dirty and needed proper filtering. Only six sunbeds for a building housing hundreds of people. Nearby Negombo beach and sea were dirty with lots of rubbish and beach sellers constantly pestering you. The carpeted area in the communal hallways of the building are dirty and need cleaning. No Spa and gym is very basic with old equipment.
• Ekaterina (10/5): I’d recommend this apartment 🙌 - Nice location, it’s a short drive from the airport. The host was very nice and answered all the questions very quickly. Nice design, good facilities. Great to meet the sunset at the rooftop. Nearby there are lots of cafes of different food, taste and cost. On the whole - great for a short stay The gym is of poor quality. The swimming pool is very picturesque, but also needs to be fixed. On the whole, everything is really good, maybe some questions only to the building itself, but the studio apartment is very nice.

The property was very clean and had all the required amenities, the host had great communication throughout the stay and provided a wonderful experience overall. I would highly recommend and revisit.

• Catherine (8/5): Very clean and lovely view but kitchen isn’t very useful and it’s not beach front. Good price - It was really clean. The view from the room was lovely and the view from the rooftop pool is stunning. Staff at front reception were amazing and the host was responsive and helpful on text. Good aircon and comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The washing machine was helpful and efficient It wasn’t beachfront and the kitchen just didn’t have the things I needed and certainly isn’t what I would call “well equipped”. There was nowhere to cook, no oven and no hob. There was one dinner knife and fork so nothing to cut and prepare fruit. And although the view of the beach is lovely because you are so high up, the room is on the other side of the road to the beach. This means you have to take all your stuff with you to go to the beach and then you are on a public beach being approached by locals trying to sell you things and you have nowhere to leave your belongings while you swim. This isn’t what I was expecting as it was listed as beachfront. I just wanted a property on the beach where I could cook my own breakfast and unfortunately this property failed on both those counts. If those things don’t bother you then this will be a lovely property for you I’m sure.

Check in and check out was very smooth and the staff was very friendly. Even the owner was very polite and kind to respond to our messages as soon as possible. If you wish for a hassle free stay around Negombo this must be the place!! Had a bad smell coming from the sink hole but other than that everything was perfect

• Hilary (8/5): Very comfortable apartment with great views. - Great views from room and amazing rooftop pool. This is a very comfortable apartment with good AC, fan, shower, bed. The breeze from the balcony was lovely. I really appreciated the washing machine and drying rack. I had a few housekeeping issues which have now been sorted with the owner. For first timers to Sri Lanka it’s important to know that even with a booking through booking.com you still have to pay most properties in cash (local or hard currency).

Had to wait a long time after a long haul flight for the manager to come in with the master keys. Asked if we could swap to a different room but not able to. Same issue the following day when we wanted to go out & explore. Thankfully it was a quick one night stopover before heading elsewhere in Sri Lanka.

Very modern appartment with balcony overlooking Negombo and the ocean. Comfy bed, efficient AC and fan, all good and would return again. Tallest building in Negombo. Kind and prompt contact with owner before and throughout the stay via WhatsApp. The condo building has a 24x7 reception desk where the key was provided and also returned at departure. 2..3 Minutes to the Beach. Good selection of restaurants, shops within walking distance. Less than 30 minutes to CMB airport (Uber/PickMe). Bring your power adapters. All sockets are type G.

• Amalia (10/5): A true hidden gem! - From the moment I stepped into my air-conditioned haven I knew I was in for a treat. It had a rooftop pool and a balcony with the best sea views!! The apartment itself was a sanctuary of modern comfort, equipped with everything needed including free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and a fully stocked kitchen. The addition of a washing machine was a thoughtful, good for people who are staying for longer. The apartment also had 24 hour security which made me feel comfortable and safe! The best part for me was the pool! I loved going to it and it was so welcoming. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for more. With the beach just around the corner, there was never a shortage of the amazing beaches that Sri Lanka offers. And with Bandaranaike International Airport just a short drive away, getting to and from the accommodation was a breeze. But what truly sets Ocean Breeze apart is its exceptional service. From the warm welcome at the 24-hour front desk to the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect, every moment felt like a home away from home. Lochana was so kind and helped me out with any questions or concerns I had. All in all, Ocean Breeze Hotel Residencies exceeded all my expectations. It truly was a hidden gem during my stay and I cannot wait to return!!
