• Anthony (9/5): A gem of a find with a history attached - This beautiful B&B was truly amazing. The owner John could not have done enough to make our stay so great. The full Continental breakfast was more than expected. Juice, tea, coffee, yogurts, toast, fruit, pancakes and boiled eggs....we were certainly full when leaving. The room was spotless, the communal sitting room was so welcoming. The owner John lit a wonderful log fire which was very relaxing. The house was set in a beautiful area with a history attached. Straight across the road from the house in the farmland is the ruins of a holding place used for soldiers before they went to D day. There are some old photos in the house of the building of how it looked back then. John gets top marks for his hospitality, friendliness and care. We would highly recommend this B&B for its location is very central to explore the magnificent areas, giants causeways, Titanic, silent valley and much more. The house is so close to motorways and to other places to explore.

Greeted by a lovely cheerful host called John, very welcoming, offered to carry our bag up the stairs. Room was spotlessly clean, airy, very well decorated. Bathroom well supplied. Choice of pillows. Stunning views from the windows. Breakfast was a continental, plenty choice, various dietary requirements catered for. Really nothing to complain about. Only minus is that at the minute, all the bedrooms are upstairs, so people with mobility issues would need to consider this.

Sin lugar a dudas, de los mejores B&B que nos hemos quedado mi pareja y yo en nuestra vida. No nos queríamos ir de allí! Además, John nos hizo sentir como si estuviéramos en casa. Nos dió una cálida bienvenida y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. Gracias John por todo lo que hiciste por nosotros. Ojalá podamos volver en alguna otra ocasión.

Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht gebucht,aber Field View ist eine wunderschöne,ruhige Unterkunft nicht weit von der N1 auf dem Weg nach Dublin ( 30 min.Fahrt), oder man kann auch einen unbedingt empfehlenswerten Abstecher nach Hillsborough Castle und Gardens machen!.

• malcolm (10/5): Everything we hoped for and more. - Excellent quiet location central for County Down and Armagh. Excellent host with invaluable local knowledge. Breakfast was just what we needed and comfortable TV room. It was absolutely spot on.

• Jonathan (8/5): - spacious deluxe king size bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Better than some hotel beds I’ve slept in. Lovely tray laid out for tea and coffee which included two packets of crisps and two mini chocolate bars. Lovely touch. Bedroom is part of a secluded Manor house, surrounded by countryside views. Immaculate throughout.

And the bedroom was clean, cosy and had a lovely view over the gardens and fields. We asked for a recommendation for somewhere local for food and this didn’t disappoint. The continental breakfast was all you need, we were served a pot of tea and coffee and all the food was help your self. Very homely, family feel. We wished we had booked longer. After just one night we had felt we had made a friend. We will be returning. There is nothing we didn’t like. Great stay.

Spotless bathroom, huge and comfy bed, lots of little touches : toiletries, coffee/tea corner with kettle and something for savoury or sweet tooth. Owner of the property is very professional and extremely friendly. I did not have a time for breakfast,but I was given huge lunch box before I left in the morning. It was full of different kind of fruits, sandwiches, croissants, cookies, yogurt and orange juice . Very generous size of lunch box sorted me out for a whole day. I did not expect this level of hospitality for such a reasonable price per night. Definitely value for money and highly recommend BnB. All was fine.

L'host davvero premuroso e disponibile (essendo vegano, ha saputo offrirmi tutto il necessario per un ottima colazione). La posizione è defilata da Belfast circa 25 minuti di auto e 35 dall'aeroporto, ma dal momento che preferisco luoghi appartati per me non è stato un problema, anzi! Camera confortevole e letto molto comodo. Ci tornerei volentieri! Mi è piaciuto tutto.

Hij is een uitermate vriendelijke en charmante gastheer waardoor we ons meteen thuis voelden. Alles is super schoon en mooi ingericht. Prima ontbijt ook. En de omgeving is ronduit prachtig. Niets. Als we nog eens naar Noord-Ierland gaan, zoeken we John zeker opnieuw op!

Superbe vue sur la campagne, on peut même entendre les vaches. Walton est très sympa, nous avons pu un peu discuter malgré la barrière de la langue. Le petit déjeuner était bon et copieux. Nous recommandons cet endroit 👍🏼

He made us breakfast to go as we missed it which was very thoughtful the whole experience was a memory we won't forget we loved him and his house/bnb it was beautiful In a picturesque location we will definitely be returning for a longer visit as we felt we needed longer to take in its beauty to relax and unwind. We are already planning our next stay. Not staying longer.
