Guest Reviews
- Linda (8/5): - The willow pod was clean and basically.comfortable, staff.were helpful The pod was cold with no way of.heating.other than one hot water bottle.
The tuck shop didn't stock any food, other than the odd tin of beans.or soup.
Souvenirs were not essential for a walking trip
- Lesley (10/5): Wonderful willow pod - From start to finish we loved staying here. We were warmly welcomed. The pod was absolutely beautiful and contained everything we needed. There were so many thoughtful little details to make our stay more comfortable, like an extra blanket, a radio, hot water bottles. The shower was hot and lovely, the breakfast was amazing. I slept like a log. We were even offered a lift to the start of our run the next day. Just lovely. If I was to really stretch for a way to make this wonderful place better - a wee mirror on the wall would be great.
- Andrew (10/5): Absolutely fantastic thank you 🙏 - What a beautiful place The setting is great
- Louise (8/5): Peaceful cosy retreat - Very cosy and peaceful with amazing surroundings. A great place to escape hectic daily life and relax The property was great and we loved everything
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noor (1/5): It can be deadly! Dont go if you dont want to die of cold - Nothing tbh! They are built out of greed only! Webs hanging over the roof and the wood was super damp! Checked in @3:30pm, went for sightseeing, came back @6 and ran to save our lives @7:15pm!
These are literally without any single source of heating & the host told me “visitors know what to expect”
So in this freezing temp in the midst of forest the host asked me to rely on water kettle to heat up the entire pod since “ we don't advertise it with heating” while they enjoy in the comfort of their own cosy warm home just next to the pods! This was so inhumane of them to let the pods during cold season & make no single arrangement for heating it up its pretty common sense if sm1 is paying they expect safety & comfort. I paid in full & couldn't even stand it for an hour & the host had the audacity to say that I should have known this was going to kill us of the cold! Even the floor was frosty cold, they have NO WIFI, NO SOCKETS only type c USBs port, trying to cover up for the decor only theres no way a guest can feel comfortable unless one is paying to get tortured! This ain't the only pod I have been to & never seen such pathetic & greedy arrangement If you cant afford to supply heating arrangements then charge extra but dont expect ppl to use water kettle to heat up pod that triggers fire alarm after I made a cup of tea! My ear was literally dying of the sound & the host told me to open doors /windows to let the alarm go off & die of cold instead
