• Ionut (1/5): Not a place to stay, agreement works just one way - I arrived at 15 00 sharp and they couldn't let me check in until 16 30, due to technical issues from their side. Since I was not able to check in at the agreed time mentioned in the contract, I requested to receive the payment fee they are asking for late check-in or early check-in, but it seems that fee only works one way, when the guest checks in late or checks out late, not also, as it should, when they do not respect their part of the contract. On our last day,I ended up with my partner in the Venetian emergency room, where we stayed 12h until a doctor was able to check us, and when asking the owner of Alla Corte if we can make the check out later they offered us a generous 30 minutes , which we did not use since we went from hospital straight to airport ( after a short stop to pack our bags).We respected our part of the agreement and they didn't. Empathy zero.
• Andrea (7/5): Cosy apartment in a great location, but the people cleaning and preparing the space need better management. - I liked the location close to the Giudecca canal , easy walk to Academia and Peggy Guggenheim museum. Close to San Basilio Vaporetto terminal from where it is very easy to get to Piazetta Roma where the Airport bus 5 arrives (unfortunately none of this was communicated prior to my stay). The communication with Lucia at arrival and with regards to the second bed not having been prepared was very good. She then actually came round to make the bed and also left me capsules for the coffee machine. No linen for or preparation of the sofa bed I had asked for, no drinking water or capsules for the coffee machine, not instructions where to buy. No info on how to use the Vaporetto to get to the apartment, or other arrival info, a disgusting full waste bin from the previous occupants was left in the bathroom, no kitchen towel, only one little plastic salad bowl , so home cooking was difficult. Lots of messages about recycling and waste disposal locations, but no bags and impossible to find the locations on Google. Also, while the kitchen and bathroom were very clean, the bedroom floor had various dirty spots on it. It had obviously been neglected by the cleaning personnel.

• Daniel (8/5): no frills, self-contained, slightly off beaten track, decent place - staff person met us to show us the house and give keys because of difficult location. nice "real" venice neighborhood with lots of students. Nice nearby Campo with restaurants, not very touristy you need to check out by 10 am and there is no place to leave your bags -- no office -- so you must take them with you on last day with is a bit of a logistical hassle. can look for place to leave them in Venice -- at museum coatcheck - there are some paid baggage drops around Venice but we did not use them
• Henry (7/5): My stay was lovely, nice area with all the amenities needed. Lots of walking but that is Venice! - Not far to walk from the coach station, quiet and all the amenities close by including the Campo St Margerita a great square for eating and socialising and good supermarkets. An open drain to yard meant I could not eat or have a glass of wine outside because of lots of mozquitos attacking me.

• Siobhan (10/5): Cosy, modern, clean and good location - location is not far from bus stop that we arrived in from airport. nice and clean and a quiet area has shampoo, hairdryers! Given two keys! A/C is in hallway so we left the bedroom door open all night but it works well and cools the place fast. great shower! comfortable beds! no bowls in the apartment!
